The subjects in this study were 499 maritime police officers. After a survey was conducted from March to September, 2013, it's found that just 104 respondents(22.8%) had experience of receiving oral health education. In terms of general knowledge, the respondents who received that education were different from the others who didn't in the level of knowledge on the items related to temporomandibular joint(p=0.026), and there were no differences between the two in knowledge of periodontal health. As for prevention-related knowledge, they had a good knowledge of fluorine. Concerning needs for oral health education, 67.1 percent considered oral health professional manpower to be necessary, and 77.9 percent of the respondents who received oral health education gave this reply(p=0.004). Regarding preference for educational content, the right toothbrushing method was most preferred, followed by oral counseling, the use of oral hygiene supplies, the selection of dentifrice, and nutrition/anti-smoking education. The findings of the study suggest that the development of oral health education programs geared toward the cluster of special occupations such as maritime police is required.

Changing sex-role identity, in particular, in the modern complex society specially affects the clothing behavior of children. The purpose of this study is to investigate the clothing behavior of children in conjunction with sen-role identity and home environment variables. This study will provide fundamental information on the clothing behavior in the childhood and be of help in selecting appropriate clothing in accordance with the variation of sex-role identity. Necessary information for this study was obtained through a questionaire. 'Bem sex-role identity inventory' was used to investigate the effect of sex-role identity and the clothing behavior was studied in conjunction with the factors of conformity, dependence, aesthetics and interest. The subjects of investigation are composed of three hundred male and female elementary school students in the 5th and 6th grades. For the statistical analysis of the collected data, percentage(%), mean value(M), standard deviation(SD) and Pearson's correlation coefficient were calculated and t-test, $x^2$-test, and Duncan's multiple range test were performed. The results form this study are as follows : 1. Sex-role identity shows a little difference according to gender, order of a birth and standard of living. This small difference is shown to be statistically insignificant. 2. In clothing behavior in connection with the sex-role identity, statistically significant trend was not found in typical sex-role identity group. However, clothing behavior in modernistic sex-role identity group exhibits statistically significant results in the factors of dependence, aesthetics and interest at the level of P<.001. 3. As concerns the clothing behavior in connection with gender, boy students show statistically more significant tendency in aesthetics and interest than girls do. However, boy students show statistically more significant tendency in aesthetics than girls do in connection with the standard of living. Although the clothing behavior associated with the level of parents education, mother's age and existence of mother's job shows a little difference in mean values, statistically significant trend was not detected. 4. Clothing behavior of the children shows a meaningful correlation between the factors. 5. Through 3-dimensional variables analysis, it is found that there is no mutual interaction between gender, sex-role identity and standard of living on the clothing behavior. The results from MCA supplementary analysis reveal that there is difference according to the gender, sex-role identity and standard of living.

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the needs of educators, learners and parents in elementary schools for implementing a systematic nutrition education program by nutrition teachers to begin in 2006. The subjects were 833 dietitians, 808 principals, 3,141 teachers, 7,577 students and 6,003 parents in elementary schools. A fairly large proportion of the principals (98.4%), teachers (95.5%), parents (96.6%) and students (62.8%) responded that nutrition education is urgently needed. Every dietitian, principal and teacher has recognized that for the enforcement of a nutrition program in the future, the placement of one nutrition teacher in every school is needed without a moment's delay. Many subjects responded that elementary low grades are the most proper time for nutrition education for students and it is also needed to extend this not only to students, but also parents and teachers who have a direct influence on them. In the education hour, they responded that it is proper one hour a month for teachers and one hour a week for students. Fifty-six percent of dietitians, 58.3% of principals and 67.0% of teachers responded that the best educational way to heighten the effect of nutrition education was education through discretional activities. It was found that 46.4% of students have wanted nutrition education to be enforced during special activities. Education through their school homepage or in-school broadcasting system, while it has been most utilized, was low in a degree of preference with 10.9%. In regards to a nutrition program, principals and parents have attached much importance to the dining etiquette, dietary attitudes, and relations of foodstuffs with health, while dietitians and teachers have made much of a balanced eating habit, and the relations of dietary life with health. Finally, for a nutrition program to be enforced towards a direction that the educators and students want, it is judged that first of all the role of nutrition teachers is the most important, furthermore the support of manpower and the budget should be made.

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the relationship between entrepreneurship and entrepreneurial intention. This relationship has been conceptually addressed in many previous studies and has been empirically tested. However, this study is different from the previous studies in the following four points. First, we measured entrepreneurial intention by manipulating launching a start-up as a relative concept for employment, which is consistent with the conceptual definition of entrepreneurial intention (i.e. entrepreneurial decision making in the process of career choice). Second, it is distinguished from previous researches in that it uses the question of preference for "action" with regard to job choice. Third, we expanded the opportunity for discussion using the youth panel data of the Korea Employment Information Service. Fourth, the altruistic purpose is included in the category of entrepreneurship. Empirical results showed that intentions of entrepreneurship were stronger when the need for achievement was intense, internal control tendency was intended, risk-taking propensity was sturdy, and autonomous tendency was high. However, innovation and aggressiveness are not statistically related to entrepreneurial intention. On the other hand, the altruistic tendency was found to have a negative correlation with entrepreneurial intention. The results of this study can provide meaningful implications for both private sector investors and government policy makers.

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze hotel chefs' perceptions of each type of leadership, to help improve teamwork and work efficiency through the improvement of job satisfaction and work skills by hotel cooks and the impact of leadership on human relations. In particular, by conducting Q methodological analysis on the subjectivity of the total chef's leadership type recognized by hotel chefs in vertical command systems according to the nature of the work in the hotel company. The analysis of leadership types showed that Type 1 (N=4): both transformative and servent leadership is a combination of preferences or non-preferences, Type 2 (N=4): transformative leadership preference, Type 3 (N=3): both transformative and non-preferred leadership. The leadership of the executive chef, recognized by hotel chefs, is believed to prefer leadership that is considered for individual situations that match each other's experiences and work skills (ability values) rather than uniform leadership such as transformational or servent leadership. Along with the theoretical discussion of Q methodology, the leadership type is explained, and based on the subjectivity research analysis method of Q analysis, the subjectivity of hotel chefs will be identified in various ways and new leadership will be presented.
