  • This study is a descriptive research on the subjects of hospital nurses to investigate the effect of job satisfaction and fatigue on their nursing professional attitudes. The subjects were 262 nurses working at five general hospitals in J and S cities. Data collection was conducted from December 2014 to January 2015 using structured questionnaires on job satisfaction, fatigue and nursing professional attitudes. As a result of the study, nurses' nursing profession attitude was high in 30 year old and married nurses, and in clinical experience of either less than a year or more than six years, and nurses' nursing profession attitude was higher in charge nurses and head nurses than in general nurses. The most influential factors affecting the nursing professional attitude were job satisfaction, clinical career, and fatigue in that order. These findings provide theoretical evidence to explain the importance of job satisfaction and fatigue variables in influencing factors on nursing professional attitude. Therefore, in clinical practice, it is necessary to develop and implement an education program to improve nursing professional attitudes by considering nurses' job satisfaction, clinical career and fatigue level.

  • The purpose of this study is to measure the relative importance of the factors that affect school to work transition that food service-related majors and workers recognize. To this end, this study composed such factors into a second hierarchy level of individual background, educational background, and preparation effort to enter labor market. The study made us of the analytic hierarchy process(AHP), which calculates the importance of each factor through the relative evaluation of each factor in the hierarchy. The results of analysis are as follows. First, in the second hierarchy level, effort to enter the labor market exhibited the highest relative importance. In the case of four-year college students, educational background had the highest relative importance. Second, in case of third hierarchy level factors relating to personal background, gender had the highest relative importance. As for educational background, the type of college had the highest relative importance. As to the effort to enter labor market, overseas working experience while in college and job searching channels had high relative importance, while vocational training experience had the lowest relative importance. Third, the analysis result of complex weighted value showed that the type of college had the highest complex weighted value. In future studies, the type of businesses and business conditions in the food service industry should be subdivided for an analysis of influential factors, and, based on this, customized career guidance should be made for specific career paths of each student.

The subjects were employed wives working in sales departments who have at least one child and a spouse, living in Seoul and the Metropolitan area. The final data analysis used 487 out of 668 questionnaires. Statistical analyses were carried out using SPSS/PC WIN which included frequencies, mean, percentages, Pearson's correlation, Cronbach's ${\alpha}$, factor analysis, multiple regression analysis. The findings of the study were as follows: 1) As their education level was low, the education level of their spouse was high, the communication level between couples was high, and the self-oriented perfectionism was low, their perceived emotional relationship was equal. • The purpose of this study is to identify the difference between the current retention level and the required level of engineering students' career competency that they think they need based on their perceptions. Ultimately, the results of this study are used as basic data when designing the major/general education program and the curricular/extra-curricular career program. The task of this study is to identify the difference between the current retention level and the required level of engineering students' career competency. And based on this, it is to confirm the educational needs of engineering students for the career competency. For this purpose, literature research on career competency education in universities was reviewed in the theoretical background. Next, previous studies on career competency and sub-competence derived from career competency-related studies and detailed questions were analyzed. Based on this, an initial evaluation tool for career competency of engineering students was developed. Finally, through expert review, a career competency evaluation tool with a total of 43 items in 10 competency groups was developed. A career competency evaluation questionnaire was conducted for 197 engineering students who participated in the 2022 Engineering Education Festa, and as a result of the IPA analysis, 'global competency' was found to be the competency with the largest difference between importance and execution. Next, 'major job competency' and 'career development competency' appeared in order. Reflecting the results of this study, it is expected that mutually organic design of competency-based liberal arts curriculum and major curriculum that can cultivate global competency, major job competency, and career development capability will be carried out through learning activities and field practice.

  • The purpose of this study was to establish the role of master gardener coordinators and develop an education program to enhance their job competencies. To analyze and develop the new job of master gardener coordinator, we used the CBC method for curriculum development. The research findings can be summarized as follows. The analysis result of need and importance of education based on the performance level and demand level revealed 20 core competencies, which were classified into organizational education, learning by experience, individual learning, low-priority competencies for program development, with focus on the importance and need for education. The 17 courses are comprised of Eastern and Western Garden History, Understanding of Community Garden, Garden Aesthetics and Environmental Design, Master Gardener's Mission & Management, Garden Plants, and Garden Design and Practice etc. and the curriculum is 33 hours in total. The master gardener coordinator education program was conducted on 73 rural extension workers and the curriculum was evaluated by those who completed the program. The overall satisfaction was 4.29 and 97.1% of the trainees decided that the program would help them perform their duties. The analysis result discovered that all 20 core competencies increased after the program. As a result of conducting contingent valuation to determine the value of the program, willingness to pay (WTP) per hour was KRW 33,223 and the total WTP was KRW 1.096 million, which, when multiplied by 73 participants, is approximately KRW 80.008 million. This is relatively higher than the budget used (KRW 22.943 million), indicating that the program is worth it.
