Effects of Work Value on the Life Satisfaction of Culinary Arts Majors

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the work value factors regarded as important by the culinary-related graduates in their 20s, and also to analyze the effects of work value factors on the life satisfaction. To achieve this purpose, this study analyzed the data of 155 graduates from departments including 'culinary arts', 'foodservice', and 'confectionery' among the college graduates in their 20s who participated in GOMS 2018. The results of analysis are as follows. First, the new generation majors in culinary arts showed the high importance of their aptitude and interest, employment stability, earned income. Second, in relation to the major field, the male graduates majored in culinary arts more highly perceived the importance than the female graduates majored in culinary arts. On the other hand, regarding the social reputation of job and work duty, the female graduates majored in culinary arts more highly perceived the importance than the male graduates majored in culinary arts. Third, the developmental value factor of work value had positive effects on the life satisfaction. Thus, the career-related staffs or professors of college should provide the career guidance by considering gender when the majors in culinary arts transit to the labor market after graduation.

고등학교 보건교사 DACUM 직무분석 (Job Analysis of School Health Teachers Working at High School using DACUM Technique)

  • Purpose: This study was performed to analyze the job of school health teachers working at high schools in Seoul, using DACUM (Developing a curriculum), a method for analyzing job-focused competency. Methods: A DACUM workshop was held to define school health teachers' role and identify their duties and tasks. For the workshop, a committee was organized, consisting of 5 school health teachers. Finally, the developed contents, after validation, were made into a survey asking about school health teacher's duties and tasks and the survey was carried out on 37 school health teachers. Results: 14 duties and 90 tasks were identified on the DACUM chart. The importance, difficulty, and frequency of the tasks were represented with ${\alpha}$ bet A, B, and C, with A being the highest degree. The duty with the biggest determinant coefficient (DC) was 'management of emergency patients' (DC=7.95), while the lowest was 'management of health clinic supplies' (DC=4.33). In terms of tasks, the one with the biggest DC was 'conducting physical assessment for emergency patients' (DC=7.8), followed by 'conducting health classes' (DC=7.79). 'Supervising school lunch' (DC=2.02) and 'supervising self-study' (DC=2.42) were the tasks with the smallest and the second smallest DC. Conclusion: The results of the study show that school health teachers'job expanded to include preventive activities such as health education, health counseling, and health promotion activities. The results of this study can serve as basic data for developing training programs for school health teachers as well as an evaluation-scale to measure school health teachers' job performance.

  • Air Traffic Control is a job that aptitude is strongly needed. According to this, air traffic controllers have to be chosen and arranged by their duty characteristic. With the development of aviation industry, we need more capable air traffic controllers than before. However, it is true that there is no aptitude test for them in Korea. The world wide trend for air traffic control is changing that decision making and high ability with awareness for solving problem. Therefore the aptitude test is certainly required in order to select suitable people having basic abilities for the duty. This research inquires into the aptitude test which is globally taken because of the reason. And with result of that, inspection list is made for development of a tool for aptitude test which is suitable in Korea and additionally there are some special opinions of experts about the list. It is judged that this research will be based for the development of aptitude test in order to select air traffic controller.

평생교육 담당자의 평생학습상담 직무 탐색 및 요구도 분석 (Exploration of Duty System and Needs Assessment in Lifelong Learning Counseling Practice)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 평생교육 담당자의 직무 중 평생학습상담 직무에 대한 탐색을 통해 이를 체계화하고, 중요도 인식 및 실천 현황에 따른 요구도를 실증적으로 분석하여 현장에서의 효율적인 평생학습상담이 실천될 수 있도록 기초자료를 제공하는데 있다. 선행연구를 근거로 평생학습상담 직무 및 과업을 탐색 후 체계화하고, 이를 바탕으로 평생학습상담 직무에 대한 요구도를 확인할 수 있는 설문지를 제작하였다. 설문지의 내용타당도 및 검사도구의 양호도를 검증한 후 자료를 수집하였고 수집된 자료는 대응표본 t검증과 Borich 공식을 적용하여 요구분석을 실시하였다. 본 연구의 결과로 도출된 평생학습상담 직무의 체계는 관계형성, 학습자 분석, 학습촉진, 사후관리의 4개 하위 직무와 학습자면담, 학습정보 제공, 학습자 특성 및 요구분석, 학습수준 진단, 학습저해요인 진단, 학습동기 촉진, 학습과정 및 학습방법 조언, 학습동아리 활동 지원, 생애커리어 설계 상담, 추수 상담, 상담 평가의 11개 과업으로 구성된다. 요구도를 분석한 결과, 4개의 하위 직무 중 학습자 분석 직무에 대한 요구가 가장 높았으며, 11개 과업 중에서는 추수 상담에 대한 요구도가 가장 높은 것으로 확인되었다. 도출된 평생학습상담 직무 체계와 실증적인 분석은 평생교육 담당자가 효율적인 학습상담 직무를 실천하고 학습자의 특성에 맞춘 생애설계 및 평생학습 참여를 지원하는데 기초자료로 활용될 수 있을 것이다.

사례관리자들의 실천경험 연구 - 질적사례연구 방법 접근 - (A study on the experience of care managers - Approached Qualitative case study method -)

  • 본 연구는 사회복지실천현장의 사례관리자들의 직무세계를 분석하기 위해서 그들이 수행하는 사례관리 직무의 빈도, 가장 중요하다고 생각하는 직무군의 유형과 그 이유, 가장 어렵게 생각하는 직무의 유형과 그 이유를 질적사례연구방법을 통해 살펴보았다. 사례관리 직무범주는 데이컴 방법으로 도출했으며 도출된 9개의 직무영역을 사례관리 수행빈도, 중요도, 난이도로 분석하였다. 연구참여자는 사례관리를 주 업무로 하는 3년 이상의 사회복지사 10명이 세평적사례선택을 통해 선택되었으며 자료분석은 매몰된 분석(embedded analysis) 유형을 따라 이루어졌다. 연구결과에 대한 함의에서 연구자들은 본 연구 참여자들의 사례관리실천 경험을 "이용자 중심의 서비스와 제도적 압력 사이에서 긴장을 유지하며 균형점을 찾는 과정"으로 기술했다. 연구결과를 근거로 지역사회복지네트워크 구성, 사례관리자들의 직무권한을 보장하는 제도적 장치 마련, 균형과 상향평준화를 위한 표준매뉴얼의 개발을 제안했다.

DACUM 기법을 활용한 간호대학생의 학교현장실습 직무분석 (Job Analysis for Nursing Student in Pre-Service Health Education Teacher Practicum using DACUM Method)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 간호대학생의 초등학교 현장실습에 관한 직무 및 과업을 DACUM 기법을 활용하여 분석하고자 하였다. J도에 소재한 일 간호대학의 보건교사교직과정을 이수하고, 초등학교 현장실습과정을 수행한 간호학과 4학년을 대상으로 DACUM 워크숍을 실시하여 임무, 과업, 과업별 중요도, 난이도, 빈도 등의 직무내용을 분석하였고, 직무에 요구되는 지식, 기술, 태도, 도구, 장래전망과 특성을 도출하였다. 도출된 직무분석 내용은 J시, I시, G시 등의 학교현장전문가 7인과 교육학전공 교수 2인으로부터 내용타당도를 검증받았고, 이를 토대로 본 연구자가 DACUM 차트를 개발하였다. DACUM 차트는 6개 임무와 24개 과업으로 구성되었고, 직무수행에 필요한 지식, 기술, 태도 등이 도출되었다. 연구의 결과로는 초등학교 학교현장실습의 임무 중 건강관리는 가장 중요도가 높은 과업으로 산출되었고, 교수학습능력과 문서작업능력이 실습을 위한 기본적인 기술로 제시되었다. 학교현장에서의 보건교사의 전문성과 역할에 대한 중요도는 증가되므로 보건교육 향상 프로그램 개발을 위한 교육기관의 제도적 노력과 교육환경 개선 등의 뒷받침이 필요할 것으로 사료된다.

치과기공소 근무자의 직무관련 요인과 직무만족 및 조직몰입과의 상관관계 (Relationship among Job Characteristics, Jod Satisfaction and Organizational Commitment of Dental Technicians)

  • 치과기공소 근무자들의 직무관련 요인과 직무만족 및 조직몰입간의 상관관계를 구명하고저 대한 치과기공사 협회에 가입된 치과기공소에서 1987년 2월 6일부터 2월 27일 사이에 종사한 근무자 504명을 대상으로 우편을 이용한 설문조사 결과는 다음과 같다. 1. 일반적 특성 요인군과 직무만족 요인군간의 정준상관관계는 Rc=0.48로 통계학적으로 유의하였으나, 일반적 특성요인군과 조직몰입 요인군간의 정준상관관계는 Rc=0.37로 통계학적으로 유의하지 않았다. 2. 직무관련 요인군과 직무만족 요인군간의 정준상관관계는 Rc=0.69로 높았으며, 직무관련 요인 중 급여적정성, 승진기회, 부가급부 적정성 등이 통계학적으로 유의하게 영향을 미치는 요인이었다. 3. 직무관련 요인군과 조직몰입 요인군간의 정준상관관계는 Rc=0.61로 높았으며, 직무관련 요인 중 급여 적정성, 기술습득기회, 업무 중요성 등이 통계학적으로 유의하게 영향을 미치는 요인이었다. 4. 직무만족에 통계학적으로 유의하게 영향을 미치는 직무관련 요인은 일반특성에 따라 달랐다. 즉 연령, 경력, 직무 등의 경우 급여 적정성으로 동일하였으나 성, 재직기간, 자격증 유무의 경우에서는 부가급부 적정성, 거래처와의 관계로 직무관련 요인이 달랐다. 5. 조직몰입에 통계학적으로 유의하게 영향을 미치는 직무관련 요인은 남자의 경우 급여 적정성인 반면 여성의 경우 부가급부 적정성, 30세 미만 근무자의 경우 업무중요성인 반면 30세 이상 근무자의 경우 급여 적정성, 경력은 5년 미만 근무자의 경우 급여 적정성인 반면 5년 이상 근무자의 경우 단조로움 등으로 일반특성에 따라 달랐다. 6. 치과기공소 근무자의 직무만족 및 조직몰입에 가장 큰 영향을 미치는 직무관련 요인은 급여 적정성이었다.

DACUM을 이용한 고위험 산모·신생아 통합센터 간호사의 직무분석 (Job Analysis of Maternal Fetal Intensive Care Unit Nurses Using DACUM Technique)

  • Purpose: This study was performed to establish the role and to analyze the job of MFICU (Maternal Fetal Intensive Care Unit) nurses using DACUM (Developing a curriculum). Methods: A DACUM workshop was held to define MFICU nurses' role and identify their duties and tasks. A DACUM committee was consisted of 7 nurses, 2 nursing professors and 1 medical doctor and as a result, a survey was developed which contained duties and tasks of MFICU nurse. Pre-test was carried out for the validity, finally collected the data from 97 nurses who worked at 7 MFICU and 10 delivery room. Results: A total of 60 duties, 115 tasks and 822 elements of tasks were defined on the DACUM chart and survey. The importance, frequency and difficulty of the tasks were presented the determinant coefficient (DC), the highest DC duty was 'Manage maternal ventilator' (15.09) and the lowest DC was 'Provide nursing care for leisure to gestation extension mother' (6.52). Twenty-eight tasks were differentiated between MFICU and delivery nurses significantly. And the most important, frequently, difficulty task perceived by MFICU nurse was 'Check fetal heartbeat with electronic fetal heart monitor'. Conclusion: The organized educational program and policy was needed to develop for MFICU nurses.

전남 동부지역 물리치료사의 근무환경 및 직무 만족도 조사연구 (The Study Work Conditions and Job Satisfaction of Physical Therapist in Jeonnam East area)

  • The purpose of this study was to research the work condition and the degree of job satisfaction of the physical therapist in Jeonnam East area. This study consisted of 120 physical therapists who were working in hospital located in Jeonnam East area from May, 19 to June 16, 2004. The data for analysis were collected by questionnaire survey. The major statistical methods used for the analysis were factor analysis, $x^2-test$, multiple regression analysis. The summarized result are as follows; 1. As for the general characteristics of the surveyed physical therapists was male 61($50.83\%$) and female 59($49.16\%$), majority was 26-30 in age. Most of the respondent worked in local clinics($62.5\%$). Also most of the respondent educated college graduation($68\%$). While the service period less than 12 months accounted for $41.7\%$. 2. The average marks by their job satisfaction factors indicated $56.7\%$ for duty importance, the relation with the patient accounted for $53.3\%$, the mending education for $18.3\%$, the equipment & institution for $20.9\%$. The average job satisfaction score was 3.04. 3. The comparative analysis of job satisfaction and general characteristics among different characteristics of the respondents revealed that there was significant difference between male and female, between 31-40years and 41years or more in ability knowledge & technique satisfaction. 4. The comparative analysis of job satisfaction and work conditions among different characteristics of the respondents revealed that there was significant difference between local clinics and hospital, between yosu&goheung and beolgyo in the mending education satisfaction. 5. Contributing factors for the job satisfaction in Physical therapist were welfare system, the relation with the patient, the service time per patient, mending education, the number of the patient.

초등학교 영양교사 직무설정을 위한 직무중요도 및 난이도 조사 (A Survey on the Perceived Importance and Difficulty to Set up the Job Duties of Nutrition Teachers in Elementary School)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the needs of educators, learners and parents in elementary schools for implementing a systematic nutrition education program by nutrition teachers to begin in 2006. The subjects were 833 dietitians, 808 principals, 3,141 teachers, 7,577 students and 6,003 parents in elementary schools. A fairly large proportion of the principals (98.4%), teachers (95.5%), parents (96.6%) and students (62.8%) responded that nutrition education is urgently needed. Every dietitian, principal and teacher has recognized that for the enforcement of a nutrition program in the future, the placement of one nutrition teacher in every school is needed without a moment's delay. Many subjects responded that elementary low grades are the most proper time for nutrition education for students and it is also needed to extend this not only to students, but also parents and teachers who have a direct influence on them. In the education hour, they responded that it is proper one hour a month for teachers and one hour a week for students. Fifty-six percent of dietitians, 58.3% of principals and 67.0% of teachers responded that the best educational way to heighten the effect of nutrition education was education through discretional activities. It was found that 46.4% of students have wanted nutrition education to be enforced during special activities. Education through their school homepage or in-school broadcasting system, while it has been most utilized, was low in a degree of preference with 10.9%. In regards to a nutrition program, principals and parents have attached much importance to the dining etiquette, dietary attitudes, and relations of foodstuffs with health, while dietitians and teachers have made much of a balanced eating habit, and the relations of dietary life with health. Finally, for a nutrition program to be enforced towards a direction that the educators and students want, it is judged that first of all the role of nutrition teachers is the most important, furthermore the support of manpower and the budget should be made.
