의료기관에서의 종합적 품질경영과 관련된 변인분석 (Predictors of Total Quality Management in Health-Care Organizations)

  • The study was to examine the relationships among those variables related to total quality management and to reveal those variables affecting total quality management in Health-Care Organizations. To study the relationship, a questionaire was designed and sent to 220 hospitals of which the number of beds is over 200 beds. Out of 660 questionaire, 263 questionaire were collected. Data analysis were conducted by using t-test, ANOVA, Pearson correlation coefficients and stepwise multiple regression. The result were as follows: 1. TQM was significantly different according to activities of QI, department of QI, age, and position. 2. Leadership was significantly different according to activities of QI, department of QI, age, and position. 3. Significant differences in the level of satisfaction of employee were found according to activities of QI, department of QI, age, position, and duration of employ. 4. Significant differences in the level of participation of employee were found according to activities of QI, department of QI, and position. 5. Education trainning was significantly different according to amount of bed, activities of QI, department of QI, level of education, kind of job, and position. 6. Medical technique was significantly different according to activities of QI, department of QI, and position. 7. Quality of work was significantly different according to activities of QI, department of QI, age, and position. 8. Significant differences in the level of investigation's system in satisfaction of client were found according to activities of QI, department of QI, kind of job, and position. 9. Positive correlations were observed between TQM and those variables related to TQM. 10. TQM was significantly predicted by the level of satisfaction of employee(40.9%), participation of employee(7.0%), investigation's system in satisfaction of client(2.7%), leadership(1.4%), and medical technique(1.1%), respectively.

대학부속 한방병원 교직원의 안전활동에 영향을 미치는 요인 (Factors that Impact on Safety Activities of Personnels in Oriental Medicine Hospital of University)

  • Purposes : The purpose of this study is to identify factors that have effects on safety activities of hospital personnels by investigating causality between patient safety culture, job stress, safety system and safety activities of faculty and staff member who are working for oriental medicine hospital of university. Methodology : The subjects were 246 employees working in 4 oriental medicine hospitals of university in Daejeon and Chungcheongnam-do. The data were collected from January 16 to January 25, 2017 using a structured questionnaire. For data analysis, descriptive statistics, Pearson correlation coefficient, t-test, ANOVA and Duncan test with SPSS 22.0 were used. Findings : The activity score for patient safety of faculty and staff member, who were experienced at job training program after joining a company and regular training course for qualification or license, was meaningfully higher than that of group who had no job training experience. The result indicated that the higher there is level of safety culture and safety system and the lower there is work stress, the more the activity has positive effect on patient safety. The level score of awareness for safety culture of faculty and staff member in C hospital, which is facing financial crisis in business circumstances recently, showed average value of 3.29. It was significantly lower than that of the other three hospital. Also, The activity score for patient safety was markedly lower than that of the other three hospital. This result become interested in the process of linking non-financial performance and financial performance. The level score of safety activity in A hospital which obtained healthcare accreditation was remarkably higher than that of the other three hospital which didn't certify healthcare accreditation. Pratical Implications : Subjects about Q.I or patient's experience management must be included in curriculum of Oriental medicine. It is necessary to get the effect of job training program for faculty and staff member through the process of preparation for obtaining healthcare accreditation. When the hospital director is appointed, it must be considered that he/she has the ability to attach importance to analysis and management of the factors creating safety accident, and has business mindset for healthcare delivery of customer- centricity. This research showed that financial performance of hospital, which of business environment is favorable; located in metropolitan city and having large scale of hospital and quality of residence rating but low-level of safety culture and safety activity, was lower than that of general hospital situated in small and medium-sized cities. More research needs to be done for answering this result.

NCS 기반 직업교육과정 도입에 따른 공업계열 특성화고·마이스터고 교사의 직무수행능력 중요도 및 교육적 요구에 대한 인식 (Perception of the importance and educational needs of job performance competency of National Competency Standards based vocational education curriculum in technical specialized high schools and meister high schools)

  • 이 연구에서는 NCS 기반 직업교육과정 도입에 따른 공업계열 특성화고 마이스터고 교사의 직무수행능력의 영역과 하위 요소를 도출하고 이들의 중요도와 교육적 요구에 대한 인식을 조사하였다. 이 결과로부터 공업계열 특성화고 마이스터고 교사의 직무수행 능력 향상 방안을 제시하였다. 이를 위해 서울, 경인 지역의 공업계열 특성화고 및 마이스터고 10개교를 선정하여 전문교과 교사 269명을 대상으로 설문 조사를 실시하였으며, 그 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, NCS 기반 직업교육과정 도입에 따른 공업계열 특성화고 및 마이스터고 교사의 직무수행능력의 영역으로 교과 지도 영역, 생활 지도 영역, 학급 경영 영역, 대외 활동 영역, 행정 업무 영역 등 5개 영역과 총 34개의 하위 요소가 도출되었다. 둘째, 직무수행능력 영역별 중요도는 교과 지도 영역, 대외 활동 영역, 생활 지도 영역 순으로 나타났으며, 교육적 요구는 교과 지도 영역, 대외 활동 영역, 행정 업무 영역 순으로 높게 나타났다. 셋째, 직무수행능력의 하위 요소 중에서 NCS 학습모듈의 교수 학습 자료 제작 및 교재 재구성, NCS 교육과정 편성 및 운영, 노동법과 신자격법 등의 법규 지도 및 취업 지도, 생활 기록부 관리, NCS 관련 교사 연구 활동, NCS 관련 현장 실무 능력 향상 연수, NCS 연계 사업 업무 등의 중요도나 교육적 요구가 높았다. 넷째, NCS 관련 활동 경험의 유무에 따라 교과 지도 영역과 생활 지도 영역의 중요도와 교육적 요구에서 유의미한 차이가 나타났는데 NCS 관련 활동 경험이 있는 교사가 경험이 없는 교사에 비하여 직무수행능력의 중요도와 교육적 요구를 더 높게 인식하고 있는 것으로 나타났다.

직장인들의 생활체육 동호회 활동에 관한 연구 (A Study the Activities of Working People in the Sports Club)

  • 이 연구는 직장인들의 생활체육 동호회 활동에 관한 연구를 조사하기 위해 실시되었다. 이 연구의 대상은 생활체육에 참여하는 직장인을 대상으로 총 400부를 설문 조사한 후, 무효 또는 오류 설문지를 제외한 387명의 설문지를 연구 목적으로 사용하였다. 요인 분석 및 신뢰성 테스트는 IBM SPSS통계 Ver 21.0을 사용하였다. 일반적 특성을 살펴보기 위해서 빈도분석을 실시하였다. 인구통계학적 및 일반적 특성에 따른 집단 간의 차이 검증을 위해 독립표본 t검증 및 일원분산분석을 실시하였으며, 변인간의 관계를 살펴보기 위해서 상관관계분석을 실시하였다. 이와 더불어 변인 간 영향력을 검증하기 위해 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 성별에 따른 웰니스 및 직무만족에 대한 차이는 보이지 않았다. 둘째, 종목에 따른 웰니스 및 직무만족에 대한 차이는 나타나지 않았다. 셋째, 연령에 따른 웰니스 차이에서는 지적 웰니스가 유의한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 특히 40대와 50대가 60대 이상보다 높은 수준으로 나타났다. 넷째, 활동기간에 따른 웰니스 차이에서는 사회적 웰니스가 유의한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 특히 활동기간이 1~2년이 3년 이상보다 높은 수준으로 나타났다. 마지막으로, 직장인들의 웰니스적 생활체육 동호회 활동이 직무만족에 미치는 영향을 살펴보면, 직장인들의 웰니스적 생활체육 동호회 활동이 직무만족에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.

장애인의 사회적 배제와 삶의 질에 대한 직무만족의 조절효과 (The Moderating Effect of Job Satisfaction on Social Exclusion and Quality of Life of the Disabled)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 장애인의 사회적 배제 정도를 객관적으로 수치화하여 도출된 사회적 배제 정도가 장애인의 삶의 질에 미치는 영향과 직무만족이 장애인의 사회적 배제와 삶의 질에 미치는 영향을 조절하는지를 검증한 것이다. 연구대상은 장애인 고용 패널조사를 통하여 추출된 1,280명을 대상으로 하였다. 독립변수인 사회적 배제는 경제적 어려움, 고용상태, 정신적 건강, 사회활동이다. 종속변수는 삶의 질 그리고 조절변수는 직무만족으로 하였다. 이 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 삶의 질에 영향을 미치는 사회적 배제의 하위요인은 경제적 어려움, 정신적 건강, 사회활동, 고용상태로 나타났다. 둘째, 사회적 배제와 삶의 질의 영향 관계에서 직무만족은 조절효과가 나타났다. 그리고 삶의 질에 조절효과가 있는 사회적 배제의 하위요인은 경제적 어려움, 고용상태, 사회활동으로 확인되었다. 후속 연구는 선진국의 장애인고용프로그램을 조사하여 시행 배경, 시행내용, 성과, 한계 등을 분석하여 장애인 고용정책의 수립에 기여해야 할 것이다. 이러한 연구를 통하여 장애인의 사회적 배제와 차별의 악순환이 개선되고 장애인의 경제활동을 통하여 삶의 질이 향상되는 계기가 마련되길 기대한다.

패션정보산업 종사자의 직무 스트레스 요인에 관한 질적연구 (The Qualitative Study on the Job Stressors of Fashion Information Providers)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate job stressors of information planning process and the relevant affairs of Fashion Information Providers, using the qualitative research method. This study was performed by interview with 14 fashion information planning providers from April to May in 2007. In the information planning process, there were five steps on fashion information providers' recognitions of stressors: information gathering, analysing, planning, presenting and evaluating. In the relevant affairs of fashion information activities, job stressors consisted of task related stressors, role related stressors, organization related stressors, personal characteristics, and outsides of organization related stressors.

산업내 전직율이 기업 R&D 투자에 미치는 영향에 대한 연구 (Effects of Intra-industry Labor Mobility on Firms' R&D Intensity)

  • This paper shows that labor mobility is positively related to R&D intensity at the industry level in Korea. Different from the perception based on individual firm-level studies arguing that firms can be reluctant to R&D in fear of the job transfer of employees, firms in industries which have high job transfer of employees turn out not to reduce investment in R&D. This result is also confirmed by 2SLS regression. This result supports that, if there exist spillover effects through the job transfer of employees, job transfer can positively contribute to R&D activities.

Effects of Job Satisfaction on Quality of Life for 119 Paramedics

  • The present study investigated the effects of work satisfaction on quality of life for 119 paramedics, the Korean equivalent of 911 paramedics. Data collection began in July 2017 and lasted for six months. Data was collected from 410 119 paramedics of the J province and the G metropolitan area who consented to study participation. The results showed that the higher the job satisfaction of the participants, the higher the quality of life (r = 0.508, p = 0.008). The factors affecting the quality of life were leisure activity, subjective health, and job satisfaction. For 119 paramedics to improve their quality of life, they need to relieve work stress and fatigue through leisure activities, and recover and maintain their health through sufficient rest. Moreover, returning to work in a healthy state likely leads to increased job satisfaction, and the quality of life will increase accordingly. Therefore, 119 paramedics should be permitted to have plenty of leisure time outside their work hours and should be able to maintain health through periodic health checks.

  • Manual lifting, as a part of manual materials handling activities, is recognized by authorities in the fields of occupational health and safety as a major hazards to industrial workers. In order to minimize the injuries caused by manual material handling activities as well as maximize job productivity, it is important to determine the maximum weights. This paper presents the optimal combination of membership functions according to the high lifting frequency and determines the safe maximum acceptable weights in manual lifting activities through the actual experiment.

버스 운전직 근로자들의 감정노동이 직무 스트레스에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Emotional Labor for Job Stress in Bus Drivers)

  • Purpose: This study was conducted to identify the association between emotional labor and job stress in bus drivers, as well as to propose management strategies for job stress. Methods: The study was conducted in February 2013 and involved 182 bus drivers working in the Gyeonggi area. Results: emotional labor was $9.5{\pm}2.34$ on average, and job stress was higher than the median of the same indicator among Korea's workers in the areas of physical environment, job autonomy, and relationship conflicts. Factors that affected job stress was lower if the subjects' Higher values for emotional labor indicated a higher level of job stress. Conclusion: To reduce among drivers, the following measures are necessary: increase the comfort of the driver's seat within the vehicle, provide adequate rest between bus headways, provide comfortable in-house rest facilities, and establish physical training spaces to reduce musculoskeletal disorders as well as programs for reducing back pain. In addition, relationship conflicts may be relieved by increasing job autonomy as much as possible, by granting autonomous control of working hours and bus headways, as well as by banning long work hours. Moreover, various club activities, exercise programs, and counseling programs that workers can be involved in together may be beneficial. This study is significant in that it identified the relationship of the bus drivers' emotional labor and job stress, which has previously been ignored as a research topic. Through its results, this study provides baseline data for the preparation of management strategies that can address the job stress of bus drivers.
