Busan Port which is the representative social overhead capital facilities for international trade of goods has been the driving force for economic development in Korea. Therefore, the central government should play the major role in building a rear road to Busan Port in order that it may function as a mojor port of Northeastern Asia through the systemization of mutual assistance among connected facilities, completely equipped with port-related facilities befitting to the principal port of imports and exports. In this study, the validity of container tax is being examined, analyzing container tax which Is considered as an obstacle to the development of Busan Port and its purpose, and grasping the present conditions by the realistic speculation on container tax issues and its abolition. First, the port rear road as a social overhead capital facilities, which connects port and expressway, should be considered as part of port, and port is social overhead capital invested by government. Second, the susan City imposes on container tax. As a result, a shipper and a shipping company are paying a double charge by paying container tax with port dues. Third, someone argues that port rear road is constructed as container truck generates much traffic, but it is unreasonable to conclude that container truck is seed of traffic jam because according to traffic survey of Busan City, container truck occupies only 1.45% of total traffic Forth, it has bad influence upon the competitiveness of Busan Port as Northeastern logistics base, as other ports who are competing with Busan Port like Singapore. Hong kong, Kobe make their competitiveness strong by decreasing the cost of pore dues

A study about collision resolution is needed because huge file, video and multimedia information are transmitted to wireless LAN. CSMA/CR protocol guarantees fairness, but doesn't consider QoS. To practicalize CSMA/CR protocol in saturation fully-connected single hop network environments, this paper proposes method of collision compensation. previous CSMA/CR protocol chooses CR Slot only considering fairness, but this paper chooses front CR Slot for compensation of collision to station experiencing collisions. The station transmits jam signal and has channel priority of transmission. So transmitting efficiency and successful transmission probability rise. This proposed simple method can offer benefit to station experiencing collisions without additional hardware cost.

ApolipophorinIII (apoLp-III) is a protypical exchangeable apolipoprotein that is abundant in hemolymph of many insect species. Its function lies in the stabilization of low-density lipophorin particles (LDLp) crossing the hemocoel in phases of high energy consumption to deliver lipids from the fat body to the flight muscle cells. But, recent studies with naive Galleria mellonella-apoLp-III gave first indication of an unexpected role of that protein in insect immune activation. In this research, we cloned a cDNA encoding putative apoLp-III from the silkworm, Bombyx mori injected with E. coli and characterized its role. We constructed a cDNA library using whole bodies of B. mori larvae injected with E. coli, carried out the differential screening, and selected the up-regulated clones. Among these clones, we focused on a cDNA showing a high sequence similarity to the apolipophorinIII from other insects and analyzed the nucleotide and deduced amino acid sequences. The pupative B. mori Jam123 apoLp-III cDNA contained 1,131 bp encoding 186 amino acid residues. Phylogenetic analysis revealed that the nucleotide and amino acid sequences of the B. mori apoLp-III cDNA formed a highly inclusive subgroup with Bombycidae. But, it was interesting that B. mori Jam123 is closer to B. mandarina than B. mori P50 and B. mori N4. Northern blot analysis showed a signal in the fat body, posterior silkgland and midgut.

Recombinant proteins can be generated quickly and easily in large amounts and at low-cost in silkworm larvae by using Bombyx mori nuclear polyhedrosis virus (BmNPV). We searched for high-permissive silkworm strains that have high production levels of heterologous proteins and are thus suitable for use as biofactories. In this study, we performed the analysis using a BmNPV vector expressing luciferase as a marker, and we confirmed protein expression by evaluating luciferase activity, determined by western blotting and luciferase ELISA, and confirmed transcription expression by semi- and quantitative real time PCR. For the selection of host silkworm strains, we first chose 52 domestic BmNPV sensitive strains and then identified 10 high-permissive and 5 low-permissive strains. In addition, to determine which hybrid of the high-permissive strains would show heterosis, nine strains derived through three-way crossing were tested for luciferase activity by western blotting, and luciferase ELISA. We found a correlation between luciferase activity and luciferase protein expression, but not transcription. There was no noticeable difference in protein expression levels between Jam313 as the high-permissive control strain and the three-way hybrid strains; however, the three-way cross strains showed lower luciferase activity compared with Jam313. In this study, luciferase protein production in the larvae of 52 domestic silkworm strains was elucidated using BmNPV.

The demands for (a) individual vehicle has been gradually increasing recently due to increase of personal income and spare time. In 2009, the quantities of registered vehicles exceeds over 17,325,210 millions pieces, and the risks of traffic accidents and traffic jam are increasing days by days. It has some limitations to solve the problem of traffic jam by transportation facilities and causes lots of time and costs. For a possible solution, ITS(Intelligent Transport System) has been introduced, but it is an insufficient way for abrupt incidents or risks on roads. The riskiest matter on driving a vehicle is unforeseen situation. In this paper, the most efficient and economical system that communicates with a driver about unexpected accident by sensor network and GPS information, is introduced rather than a traditional method associated with lots of time and costs.
A set of 21 crosses of F1 generation by diallel crosses from seven parent silkworm, Bombyx mori L. were used as materials to estimate genetic parameters such as gene action and combining ability. Experiments were conducted in 1985, and three characters, which are weight of cocoon, weight of cocoon layer and ration of cocoon layer, were observed. The data were analyzed for each character by Jinks', Hayman's and Griffing's methods. The result obtained are summarized as follows : 1. In Vr-Wr graphical analyses, weight of cocoon was found to be inherited in over dominance, and weight of cocoon layer and ration of cocoon layer were observed as partial dominance. 2. Estimate of additive component of variance(D) was greater than those of dominance component of variance(H) for weight of cocoon layer and ratio of cocoon layer, and positive values of F were observed for all characters. 3. Mean squares of general combining ability were higher than those of specific combining ability. 4. Variety Jam 107 was expressed as the highest GCA effects for three characters, and high SCA effects for all characters were observed in combinations of 113 $\times$Jung 14 and Jam 107 $\times$Jung 14.

The present study aimed to investigate the effects of skin care foods on the synthesis of pro-collagen type I C peptide and suppression of matrix metalloproteinase (MMP)-1 secretion through an in vitro study using fibroblasts (Hs68 cells) and keratinocytes (HaCaT cells). Among the three skin care foods developed in this study, three beans cookie and avocado yoghurt influenced the production of pro-collagen type I C peptide and suppressed MMP-1 secretion; however, tiger nut Galsu drink did not exhibit these effects. All skin care foods, including three beans cookie and plain yoghurt ($50{\mu}g/mL$, p<0.001) influenced the suppression of MMP-1 in addition to other commercially available breast milk production support foods examined, such as Heath Heather ($50{\mu}g/mL$, p<0.001), Happy Mama ($50{\mu}g/mL$, p<0.01), BioLys ($50{\mu}g/mL$, p<0.001), Enfamama ($25{\mu}g/mL$, p<0.0001), and Pregnagen ($25{\mu}g/mL$, p<0.001). Avocado fruit yoghurt ($25{\mu}g/mL$, p<0.05), avocado fruit jam yoghurt ($50{\mu}g/mL$, p<0.01), Enfamama ($100{\mu}g/mL$, p<0.05), and Pregnagen ($100{\mu}g/mL$, p<0.05) influenced the production of pro-collagen type I C peptide and suppressed MMP-1 secretion. This result indicates that only avocado jam yoghurt significantly influenced both the prevention of skin keratinization and acceleration of recovery of skin fibrous structure. Therefore, avocado is a favorable ingredient for nutrition-balanced dietary foods or an essential ingredient in products for revitalization of human skin.

In this paper, we propose the Tile Based Frequency Hopping - Chirp Spread Spectrum(TBFH-CSS) technique, which has excellent Low Probability of Intercept(LPI)/Anti-Jamming(AJ) performance. Conventional Frequency Hopping - Chirp Spread Spectrum(FH-CSS) technique uses only single chirp signal, that makes the follower jammer easy to find and jam. However, proposed TBFH-CSS uses various kind of chirp signals which are generated according to the structure of basis tile, it is composed the basis time unit and the basis bandwidth unit. The TBFH-CSS signal has variety signal period and signal bandwidth. Therefore, the follower jammer hard to find and difficult to jam the TBFH-CSS signal. We analysis the LPI/AJ performance of the TBFH-CSS technique when the follow jamming attack exist and compared with the performance of the conventional FH-CSS technique. From the analysis, we can see the proposed TBFH-CSS technique has better LPI/AJ performance than conventional technique.

The aim of this study was to elucidate the difference in the amount of phytochemicals and anti-oxidant activities of the freeze-dried 5th instar 3rd day silkworm powder (FDSP) and 7 HongJams (HJs). Three primary colors of light of 8 silkworm powders revealed why each sample had unique color. The visual and absorption spectrum analyses of 80% methanol (MeOH) extracts of 8 silkworm powders revealed that white jade (WJ)-FDSP extracts showing strong forest-green colors had different absorption spectrum from 7 HJs. Among 7 HJs, the absorption spectrum of light green silkworm (LGS)-HJ extract was different from those of other HJ extracts. The amounts of total flavonoids and phenolic compounds of WJ-FDSP were 423.0±9.21% and 252.3±12.86%, respectively, more than those of WJ-HJ. Among 7 HJs, the amounts of total flavonoids and phenolic compounds in LGS-and red silkorm (RS)-HJ extracts were significantly more than those of WJ-HJ extract. Consistent with the amounts of phytochemicals, radical scavenging activity and reducing ability of WJ-FDSP extract were significantly higher that other HJ extracts. Among 7 silkworm powder extracts, LGS-HJ extract showed significantly higher radical scavenging activity and reducing ability than those of WJ-HJ extract. But, RS-HJ extract only showed significantly higher radical scavenging activity than that of WJ-HJ extract. Taken together, the amounts of phytochemicals in 8 silkworm powders contributed on their colors and anti-oxidant activities.
As the performance of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) are improving and the prices are lowering, it is expected that the use of UAVs will continuously grow in the future. It is important to always maintain control signal and video communication to operate remote UAVs stably, especially in military UAV operations, as unexpected jamming attacks can result in fatal UAV crashes. In this paper, to improve the network reliability and low latency when supporting UAV operations, the anti-jamming performance of Second generation Anti-jam Tactical UHF Radio for NATO (SATURN) networks is analyzed and enhanced by applying Forward Error Correction (FEC) and Minimum Shift Keying (MSK) modulation as well as Hamming code based multiple transmission techniques.
