The inverse Kinematics can be used for representing the motion of human body model. In order to find the final figure of the human body model with given target position, we can uwe the formula x=J .THETA. , where J is the Jacobian matrix of x=f( .THETA.), of the Inverse Kinematics. In this formula, f has so complicated form that it is difficult to calcuate the Jacobian matrix J by expanding all formulae exactly. In this paper, a numerical method that calculates the Jacobian matrix is proosed. The simulation results obtained by using the simple human model reprsent that the proposed. The simulation results obtained by using the simple human model represent that the proposed method is useful for generating the final figure of the body model.

A fuzzy learning method to control an unstable and multivariable system is presented in this paper, Because the multivariable system has generally a coupling effect between the inputs and outputs, it is difficult to find its modeling equation or parameters. If the system is unstable, initial condition rules are needed to make it stable because learning is nearly impossible. Therefore, this learning method uses the initial rules and introduces a cost function composed of the actual error and error-rate of each output without the modeling equation. To minimize the cost function, we experimentally got the Jacobian matrix in the operating point of the system. From the Jacobian matrix, we can find the direction of the convergence in the learning, and the optimal control rules are finally acquired when the fuzzy rules are updated by changing the portion of the errors and error rates.

This paper presents a geometrical approach to the characteristic analysis of parallel mechanism with free joints intended for use as a planar task robot. Solution of the forward and inverse kinematic problems are described. Because the mechanism has only three degree-of-freedom output, constraint equations must be generated to describe the inter-relationship between actuated joints and free joints so as to describe the position and orientation of the moving platform. Once these constraints are incorporated into the kinematics model, a constrained Jacobian matrix is obtained. and it is used for the solution of the forward kinematic equations by Newton-Raphson technique. Another Jacobian matrix was derived to describe the interrelationship between actuated joints and moving platform. The stiffness, velocity transmission ratio, force transmission ratio and dexterity of the mechanism are then determined based on this another Jacobian matrix. The geometrical construction of the mechanism for the best performance was investigated using the characteristic analysis.
For a dynamic analysis of a constrained multibody system, it is necessary to have a routine for satisfying kinematic constraints. LU decomposition scheme, which is used to divide coordinates into dependent and independent coordinates, is efficient but has great difficulty near the singular configuration. Other method such as the projection matrix, which is more stable near a singular configuration, takes longer simulation time due to the large amount of calculation for decomposition. In this paper, the row space and the null space of the Jacobian matrix are proposed by using the pseudo-inverse method and the projection matrix. The equations of the motion of a system are replaced with independent acceleration components using the null space of the Jacobian matrix. Also a new hybrid method is proposed, combining the LU decomposition and the projection matrix. The proposed hybrid method has following advantages. (1) The simulation efficiency is preserved by the LU method during the simulation. (2) The accuracy of the solution is also achieved by the projection method near the singular configuration.

To realize a visual servo control of slender manipulators, two problems to be solved are analysed. The stability problem on so-called noncolocation control and the infinite order problem of the real Jacobian matrix caused by the elastic deformation are discussed. By considering the dynamic relations between rigid and elastic modes, a Jacobian operator is derived and the physical meaning is also explained. Then, for practical control, a simple control scheme using an approximate Jacobian is proposed and its stable conditions are proven by means of the $L_$2$ stability theory. The scheme is structurally similar to the conventional PD control laws, but external sensors(e. g. visual sensor) are used for positioning and internal sensors for damping. A good performance is obtained via control experiments of a slender two link manipulator.

This paper proposes a new Levenberg-Marquardt algorithm that is accelerated by adjusting a Jacobian matrix and a quasi-Hessian matrix. The proposed method partitions the Jacobian matrix into block matrices and employs the inverse of a partitioned matrix to find the inverse of the quasi-Hessian matrix. Our method can avoid expensive operations and save memory in calculating the inverse of the quasi-Hessian matrix. It can shorten the training time for fast convergence. In our results tested in a large application, we were able to save about 20% of the training time than other algorithms.
Fix $n-2$ elements $h_1,{\cdots},h_{n-2}$ of the quotient field B of the polynomial algebra $\mathbb{C}[x_1,x_2,{\cdots},x_n]$. It is proved that B is a Poisson algebra with Poisson bracket defined by $\{f,g\}=det(Jac(f,g,h_1,{\cdots},h_{n-2})$ for any $f,g{\in}B$, where det(Jac) is the determinant of a Jacobian matrix.

Power system is becoming more and more complex and large Existing procedural programming technique can't cope with software flexibility and maintenance problems. So, Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) is increasingly used to solve these problems. OOP in power system analysis field has been greatly developed. This paper applies OOP in power flow analysis, and presents new algorithm which uses only a Jacobian to solve mismatch equations, and introduces a new sparse matrix storage method which is different from existing method. This paper introduces a real-time load flow program for Korean energy management system(EMS). This study is concentrated on the following aspects. First, we propose the model of the real-time database and power system equipment for the real-time load flow. These models are extracted from the needs of load flow functions and are designed to the application common information. Second, several techniques are applied for the efficient convergence and computational speed. The generation/load mismatch is redistributed using generator participation factors which are separated to the reference bus. For the voltage control, the jacobian matrix is composed with the basic Y matrix elements and the voltage control elements. Through the optimally ordering, jacobian row and column for a column is changed. However all jacobian matrix entries have same order with the Y matrix. The proposed program is tested using the Korea Electric Power Corporation(KEPCO) system. Through the test, we verified that the proposed program can be effectively used to accomplish the Korean EMS system.
We numerically investigated propagation of various waves in the two-phase flows such as sound wave, shock wave, rarefaction wave, and contact discontinuity in terms of pressure, void fraction, velocity and density of the two phases. The waves have been generated by a hydrodynamic shock tube, a pair of symmetric impulsive expansion, impulsive pressure and impulsive void waves. The six compressible two-fluid two-phase conservation laws with interfacial friction terms have been solved in two fractional steps. The first PDE Operator is solved by the HLL scheme and the second Source Operator by the semi-implicit stiff ODE solver. In the HLL scheme, the fastest wave speeds were estimated by the analytic eigenvalues of an approximate Jacobian matrix. We have discussed how the interfacial friction terms affect the wave structures in the numerical solution.
