  • In this paper, we formed the shallow junction by preamorphization and low energy ion implantation. And a simulator is designed for predicting the annealing process results. Especially, if considered the applicable to single step annealing process(RTA, FA) and dual step annealing process(RTA+FA, FA+RTA). In this simulation, the ion implantation model and the boron diffusion model are used. The Monte Carlo model is used for the ion implantation. Boron diffusion model is based on pair diffusion at nonequilibrium condition. And we considered that the BI-pairs lead the diffusion and the boron activation and clustering reaction. Using the boundary condition and initial condition, the diffusion equation is solved successfully. The simulator is made ofC language and reappear the experimental data successfully.

균열이 발생한 콘크리트에서의 염화물 이온 확산에 관한 연구 (A Study on Chloride ion Diffusion in Cracked Concrete)

  • In this study, a method to evaluate diffusion coefficient of chloride ion in cracked concrete is proposed. For cracked concrete having either anisotropic or isotropic crack network, each crack of saturated concrete is considered as a V shape crack, and an effective diffusion coefficient is expressed with diffusion coefficients of cracked part and noncracked part and a so-called crack spacing factor. A comparison with experimental results shows that the diffusion coefficient for cracked concrete is accurately predicted by the effective diffusion coefficient. Prediction results also show that the cracks in concrete markedly change the diffusion properties and accelerate penetration of drifting species. The method in this paper can be effectively used to consider the effect of cracks on concrete diffusion coefficient of cracked concrete.

  • Aluminum is widely used as a material for electrode on silicon based devices. Especially, aluminum films are used as backside and front-side electrodes in silicon quantum dot (QD) solar cells. In this point, the diffusion of aluminum is very important for the enhancement of power conversion efficiency by improvement of contact property. Aluminum was deposited on a Si (100) wafer and a Si QD layer by ion beam sputter system with a DC ion gun. The Si QD layer was fabricated by $1100^{\circ}C$ annealing of the $SiO_2/SiO_1$ multilayer film grown by ion beam sputtering deposition. Cs ion beam with a low energy and a grazing incidence angle was used in SIMS depth profiling analysis to obtain high depth resolution. Diffusion behavior of aluminum in the Al/Si and Al/Si QD interfaces was investigated by secondary ion mass spectrometry (SIMS) as a function of heat treatment temperature. It was found that aluminum is diffused into Si substrate at $450^{\circ}C$. In this presentation, the effect of heat treatment temperature and Si nitride diffusion barrier on the diffusion of Al will be discussed.

양생조건이 고로슬래그 미분말을 혼입한 시멘트 콘크리트의 염화물이온 확산계수에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Curing Condition on the Chloride ion Diffusion Coefficient in Concrete with GGBFS)

  • 양생조건이 GGBFS를 사용한 시멘트 콘크리트의 염화물이온 확산계수에 미치는 영향에 대한 연구를 진행하였다. 양생조건은 기중양생 ($20{\pm}2^{\circ}C$, RH $60{\pm}5%$)과 수중양생 ($20{\pm}2^{\circ}C$)으로 구분하였으며, GGBFS 치환율은 0%(대조군), 30%, 60%로 구분하여 3가지 배합의 콘크리트를 W/B 40%, 50%, 60%로 구분하여 제작하였다. 시험은 콘크리트 압축강도평가, 염화물이온확산계수 평가를 실시하였다. 콘크리트의 압축강도는 GGBFS 치환율이 증가할수록 수중양생 대비 기중양생 시험체의 압축강도의 발현율이 감소하였다. 염화물이온확산계수 측정결과 GGBFS치환율이 증가할수록 염화물이온 확산계수가 감소하였지만, 수중양생대비 기중양생 시험체의 콘크리트 염화물이온 확산계수는 증가하여 최대 111%까지 증가하는 것을 확인하였다.

  • This paper considers transference number in calculating diffusion coefficient of chloride ions of concrete and mercury intrusion porosimetry to investigate the volume and distribution of pore size, respectively, analyzing and discussing the property of resistance to chloride ion of concrete with granulated blast furnace slag. The experimental results show that the diffusion coefficient of chloride ion decreases with the rise of quantity of granulated blast furnace slag and pore structure of concrete with granulated blast furnace slag is different from that of OPC concrete. And from the results of regression analysis, the result showed that the diffusion coefficient of chloride ions is affected by capillary pore above 50nm.

Tripod Polishing을 이용한 불균질 재료의 TEM 시편준비 방법과 미세조직 관찰 (TEM Sample Preparation of Heterogeneous Materials by Tripod Polishing and Their Microstructures)

  • 본 실험에서는 tripod polishing 방법을 이용하여 Pd/GaN/Sapphire 박막, PZT/MgO/Si 박막, 304 stainless steel 분말, $Mo_5Si_3/Mo_2B$ diffusion couple의 매우 다양한 물성이 포함된 불균질 재료의 TEM 시편을 제작하고 분석하였다. Tripod polishing을 사용하여 시편을 준비하면 시편의 종류에 관계없이 시편의 선단부에 매우 광범위한 전자빔 투과 영역을 지닌 TEM 시편을 얻을 수 있었으며, Pd/GaN/Sapphire 박막, PZT/MgO/Si 박막과 같이 기판이 경한 반도체 재료의 경우에는 연마 정도가 균일하며 연마과정 동안 오염이 심하지 않기 때문에 ion milling으로 cleaning 없이 TEM 관찰이 가능하다. 한편 304 stainless steel 분말과 같은 금속재료의 경우 짧은 시간의 ion milling 은 시편의 오염 제거에 도움된다. $Mo_5Si_3/Mo_2B$ diffusion couple에 형성된 실리사이드는 큰 취성 때문에 polishing 동안 시편이 깨지는 현상으로 전자가 투과할 수 있을 정도의 연마가 불가능하여 1시간 정도 ion milling 연마가 필요하다. Tripod polishing으로 TEM 시편을 준비하면 분석하고자 하는 지역을 정확하고도 넓게 연마할 수 있다. 또한 비교적 짧은 시간 내에 ion milling 없이 TEM 시편을 제작할 수 있기 때문에 ion milling에서 유발되는 여러 가지 문제점들을 해결할 수 있는 장점이 있었다. 그러나 tripod polishing은 전부 수작업으로 시편을 준비하기 때문에 시편을 제작하는 과정 동안 매우 세심한 주의가 요구되며 제작자의 숙련도와 경험을 필요로 하는 단점이 있다.

  • Factors causing deterioration of concrete structures under marine environment are various, especially penetration and diffusion of chloride ion, carbon dioxide, and water through pore effects on the durability of concrete as well as mechanical properties of concrete. Pore of porous materials like concrete can be classified as micro-, meso-, and macro-pore. And pore of cement matrix is classified as pore which occupied by water, air void, and ITZ between cement paste and aggregates. In this study, to verify the relationship between pore of cement matrix and the property of chloride ion diffusivity, the regression analysis is producted. From the result of regression analysis, the average pore diameter more than total pore volume effects on the diffusivity of chloride ion.

Diffusion of Choline Chloride in Aqueous Solutions of Chondroitin Sulfate

  • Mutual diffusion coefficients of choline chloride were determined by using the diaphragm cell method in aqueous solutions of chondroitin sulfate A at $25^{\circ}C$. The diffusion coefficients of choline chloride in 0.1g/100ml, 0.5g/100ml and 1g/100ml respectively of chondroitin sulfate solutions were compared with those of binary systems of water-choline chloride. At low concentrations, the diffusion coefficients of the choline chloride in the presence of chondroitin sulfate were significantly smaller than the values obtained in the absence of chondroitin sulfate, indicating a strong interaction between these solutes. The effect of this interaction on the diffusion of choline ion is largest at higher chondroitin sulfate concentrations and at lower choline chloride concentrations. The influence of chondroitin sulfate is overcome at higher choline chloride concentrations. Self-diffusion coefficients of choline ion in the presence of chondroitin sulfate are also obtained. Excellent agreements were obtained between the experimental data and the calculated values obtained by using the Manning's equations. These observations suggest that the interaction between choline chloride and chondroitin sulfate involves primarily a long range electrostatic effect and there is no appreciable "condensation" or binding of choline ion to the chondroitin sulfate.

  • Chloride ions have a tendency to penetrate into concrete and proceed the corrosion by depassivating rebar surface. Thus the deteriorated concrete is subject to experience severe degrading of durability under marine environment. Physical properties of mortar, such as, compressive strength and penetration depth of chloride ion were investigated. And to investigate the effect of containing SG, FA in mortar, the diffusion coefficient of chloride was measured through an electro - migration test. The diffusion coefficient of chloride was decreased with the increase of replacement ratio of SG compared with plain specimen.
