The authors of the study highlight the conceptual foundations of the investment mechanism of innovation of enterprises in the context of strategic development. Such indicators of investment attraction for the enterprise as investment attractiveness, investment activity of the enterprise, critical mass of investments, minimum sufficiency of investments and others are singled out. It is proved that the balance of investment resources is facilitated by the action of the investment mechanism of innovation activity at the enterprise in the context of achievements of strategic development tasks. Investment processes and their intensification have an impact on the expansion of production capacity of economic entities in strategic development and on improving the efficiency of existing capacities. The investment mechanism of innovative activity at the enterprise in the context of achievement of tasks of strategic development contains system of complex actions which provides: definition of the clear purpose and tasks for the mechanism and achievement of the purposes of the enterprise; assessment of the investment potential of the enterprise; definition of tasks of innovative development of enterprises and investment resources necessary for this purpose, etc. The tasks of the investment mechanism of innovative activity at the enterprise in the context of achievements of tasks of strategic development and its economic, organizational and information components are singled out, as well as levers of influence and regulators of the investment mechanism of innovation in the enterprise.

중소기업의 성장에 있어 R&D의 역할은 매우 크다. 본 연구는 중소기업의 경영성과에 있어서 R&D투자가 어떠한 영향을 미치는지, 이 관계를 기술혁신이 매개하는지, 마케팅 역량은 기술혁신과 경영성과의 관계를 조절하는지 검증하였다. 이를 위해 대구테크노파크가 2013년부터 매년 조사하는 기업패널조사의 자료를 사용하여 종단분석을 실시하였다. 주로 대구경북 지역에 있는 349개 기업의 데이터를 사용하였으며, 제조업의 종업원 30인에서 50인 규모가 주요한 분석대상 기업이었다. 먼저 R&D투자는 기술혁신뿐만 아니라 경영에 정적 영향을 미쳤으나, 기술혁신은 경영성과에 영향을 미치지 않은 것으로 나타났다. 또한 기술혁신은 R&D투자와 경영성과의 관계를 매개하지 않았다. 이는 소규모 중소기업의 경우, R&D투자로 기술혁신이 설사 일어난다고 하더라도, 그 기술혁신이 곧 경영성과로 이어지지 않는다는 것을 보여준다. 또한 기술혁신과 경영성과의 관계가 마케팅역량에 의해 달라지지 않았다. 이것은 소규모 중소기업에서의 기술혁신이 경영성과로 이어지기 쉽지 않다는 것을 보여주는 것이다.

This study investigates the effect of technology import and R&D investment on the value of the firm in Korea. The result shows that the technology import announcement effect of firms with a low R&D investment is higher than that of firms with a high R&D investment. The evidence suggests that technology import can substitute the existing R&D capability of the firm. In addition, the result shows that there is an optimal level of technology import and R&D investment to maximize the value of the firm. In particular, firms with a low R&D investment and a large amount of technology import experience the highest announcement effect. The study concludes that an adequate allocation of fim's capital between R&D investment and technology import is needed for firm's optimal technology strategy.

This paper aims to analyse the relationship between R＆D investment and economic growth in Korea. The analysis result shows 38 percent of average economic growth rate(7.1%) of Korea between 1976 and 1998 was achieved by the growth of Total Factor Productivity (TFP), and the R&D investment during the period contributed in achieving the economic growth rate by as much as 9.86 percent. In the process of the estimate, the rate of return of the R&D investment from both government and private was calculated as 47 percent. The relationship between private R&D investment, government R&D investment and the GDP was also investigated, and it was estimated that the private sector invested 2.0 percent of the GDP in R&D during the period, and was found that 1 won of government R&D investment induced 0.202 won of private sector's R&D investment. However, the time-lag effect, which is naturally believed to exist between the R&D investment and the economic growth, could not be analysed in a mathematical form, because of the lack of the data to establish this relationship. However, this paper believe that the time-lag effect in this relationship was included implicitly by using the data of 23 years.

Purpose - This study aims to analyze the relationship between trends in innovative EU industries and market distribution in smaller emerging markets under an open economy. Research design, data, and methodology - Although innovation was well-distributed, due to socio-economic factors following European integration, CEE had not achieved sustainable economic growth. However, this paper analyzes the differences among changes in CEE innovation for smaller emerging markets dominated since 2000. Market distribution has facilitated new markets for innovative industries, according to EU surveys and economic indicators. Results - The dominance of the local industrial market distribution has deterred innovation investment the survey shows that innovation investment has been shrinking, despite the EU's open innovation policy for CEE employment and R&D. For the CEE case, there were expectation gaps and uncertainty about whether to use the new distribution dominance or TNCs' innovation in smaller emerging countries without local industrial innovation. Conclusions - Innovation generates market growth and distribution power however, small growth requires stimulation, and creativity and innovative edge need further focus in local public and corporate strategy.

기술혁신은 모든 산업에 있어 차별적 경쟁우위의 주요한 원천이 되면서 동시에 기업의 많은 자원이 투자되는 경영활동이라고 할 수 있다. 따라서 많은 성공적인 기업의 이면에는 반드시 뛰어난 기술혁신과 이를 위한 투자가 있다. 그러나 기술혁신투자가 모든 경우에 바람직한 성과로 직결되는 것은 아니며 생산전략 및 생산활동과 효과적으로 연계되어야만 가능할 것이다. 본 연구는 Abernathy St Utterback(1975)의 기술혁신모형을 국내 전자산업을 대상으로 실증적으로 검증하고 기술혁신이 생산전략 및 생산활동과 어떠한 상관관계를 가지고 있는지를 분석하였다. 따라서 이러한 연구결과를 바탕으로 기술혁신이 기업성과에 미치는 영향에 관한 규범적 연구의 토대를 구축하는 것이 본 연구의 궁극적 목표이다.

본 연구는 2011년과 2013년 중소기업기술통계 조사에 응답한 4,000개 기업 중 본사가 부산에 소재한 중소기업(5인 이상 300인 미만) 481개사를 대상으로 기업의 혁신전략에 따른 민간 연구개발 투자에 미치는 영향요인을 살펴보았다. 기업의 혁신전략과 관련해서는 R&D 포트폴리오, 연구개발조직 및 인력, 조직의 혁신전략 방향 설정자로서의 CEO 역할을 독립변수로 제시하였다. 또한, 산업을 제조업 기술수준별 4개 그룹과 지식서비스업 등 총 5개로 구분하고, 종속변수 민간 연구개발 투자비에 대한 영향을 선형 회귀 분석하였다. 이에 따른 분석 결과는 기업의 혁신전략 중 복합적인 R&D포트폴리오, 체계적인 연구조직 보유, 연구인력 증가는 모두 민간 연구개발비 투자에 정(+)의 영향을 미친다. 이를 산업별로 구분하여 분석하여도 연구개발 조직과 연구인력 보유가 유의미한 영향요인으로 나타났다. 위의 결과를 살펴볼 때, 지역 중소기업의 민간 연구개발투자를 활성화하기 위해서는 다양한 R&D 포트폴리오를 갖추고 체계적인 연구개발 조직과 충분한 연구인력을 확보한 기업을 중심으로 R&D 투자가 확대할 수 있도록 산업별 특성을 고려한 정책 지원이 필요하다고 할 수 있다.

Real options provide a new and productive way to view corporate r&d investment decisions. DCF approach is well established and beloved of financial executives, but is known to systematically underestimate investment value under significant uncertainty. Though real options are not inherent in a r&d investment, they can be used to compute the investment value including managerial flexibility like option value. In this paper, we explain how the interval of option value in black-scholes model can be estimated using simulation. We also present a process framework for interval estimation of volatility and efficient of period of investment value. In such a setting, we can obtain the appropriate interval estimation of the expanded investment value.

The performance of US economy in the last cecade is considered to be driven by the IT investment. However, the causal relationship has not been conclsive between IT investment and economic performance, which makes a decision in IT investment tricky. IT as a growth strategy is critical to the developing countries which experienced resource constraint. In case IT acts as a driving force in the new technology paradigm, the less investment in IT will continue to which the growth gap between countries. When IT dose not make a significant contribution to growth, heavy investment in IT means misallocations of resources. The main purpose of the study is to analyze the features of innovation and project management in the system of improving the performance of personnel as a factor in ensuring competitiveness and investment security. For the successful operation of enterprises, regardless of their form of ownership and field of activity, in order to carry out effective activities, they turn to innovative methods related to the formation of the potential of the workforce, and increasing the level of education and qualifications of staff and establishing their potential ability to make independent decisions. Based on the results of the study, the key features of innovation and project management in the system of improving the performance of personnel as a factor in ensuring competitiveness and investment security are characterized.
