In this paper, we consider the intuitionistic fuzzification of the notion of a interior ideal in ordered semigroup S, and investigate some properties of such ideals. In terms of intuitionistic fuzzy set, characterizations of intuitionistic fuzzy interior ideals in ordered semigroups are discussed. Using a collection of interior ideals with additional conditions, an intuitionistic fuzzy interiror ideal is constructed. Natural equivalence relations on the set of all intuitionistic fuzzy interior ideals of an ordered semigroup are investigated. We also give a characterization of a intuitionistic fuzzy simple semigroup in terms of intuitionistic fuzzy interior ideals.

In this paper, we apply the concept of intuitionistic fuzzy sets to theory of semigroups. We give some properties of intuitionistic fuzzy ideals and intuitionistic fuzzy bi-ideals, and characterize which is left [right] simple, left [right] duo and a semilattice of left [right] simple semigroups or another type of semigroups in terms of intuitionistic fuzzy ideals and intuitionistic fuzzy bi-ideals.

Using the notion of intuitionistic fuzzy sets, the concept of intuitionis tic fuzzy semi-preopen sets and intuitionistic fuzzy semi-pre-continuous mappings are introduced. The relation between an intuitionistic fuzzy precontinuous ma pping and an intuitionistic semi-precontinuous mapping is given. Characterizations of intuitionistic fuzzy semi-preopen sets and intuitionist ic fuzzy semi-precontinuous mappings are given.

Segmentation plays an important role in the field of image processing and computer vision. Intuitionistic fuzzy C-means (IFCM) clustering algorithm emerged as an effective technique for image segmentation in recent years. However, standard fuzzy C-means (FCM) and IFCM algorithms are sensitive to noise and initial cluster centers, and they ignore the spatial relationship of pixels. In view of these shortcomings, an improved algorithm based on IFCM is proposed in this paper. Firstly, we propose a modified non-membership function to generate intuitionistic fuzzy set and a method of determining initial clustering centers based on grayscale features, they highlight the effect of uncertainty in intuitionistic fuzzy set and improve the robustness to noise. Secondly, an improved nonlinear kernel function is proposed to map data into kernel space to measure the distance between data and the cluster centers more accurately. Thirdly, the local spatial-gray information measure is introduced, which considers membership degree, gray features and spatial position information at the same time. Finally, we propose a new measure of intuitionistic fuzzy entropy, it takes into account fuzziness and intuition of intuitionistic fuzzy set. The experimental results show that compared with other IFCM based algorithms, the proposed algorithm has better segmentation and clustering performance.

Based on the geometrical representation of a generalized intuitionistic fuzzy set, we take into account all three parameters describing generalized intuitionistic fuzzy set, propose a method to calculate the correlation coefficient for generalized intuitionistic fuzzy sets in finite set and probability space, respectively, and discuss some properties of correlation and correlation coefficient of generalized intuitionistic fuzzy sets.

We introduce the concept of intuitionistic smooth topology in Lowen's sense and we prove that the family IST(X) of all intuitionistic smooth topologies on a set is a meet complete lattice with least element and the greatest element [Proposition 3.6]. Also we introduce the notion of level fuzzy topology on a set X with respect to an intuitionistic smooth topology and we obtain the relation between the intuitionistic smooth topology $\tau$ and the intuitionistic smooth topology $\eta$ generated by level fuzzy topologies with respect to $\tau$ [Theorem 3.10].

The notions of cubic intuitionistic fuzzy set to filters and implicative filters of BE-algebras are introduced. Relations between cubic intuitionistic fuzzy filters with cubic intuitionistic fuzzy implicative filters of BE-algebras are investigated. The homomorphic image and inverse image of cubic intuitionistic fuzzy filters are studied and some related properties are investigated. Also, the product of cubic intuitionistic fuzzy subalgebras (implicative filters) of BE-algebras are investigated.

Using the idea of "intuitionistic fuzzy set" [l, 2, 3], we defined the concept of intuitionistic fuzzy matrices as a natural generalization of fuzzy matrices. And we introduced and studied the determinant of square intuitionistic fuzzy matrices [4]. In this paper, we investigate the adjoint of square intuitionistic fuzzy matrices.

We obtain some characterizations of continuous, open and closed functions in intuitionistic topological spaces. Moreover we reveal that the category of topological spaces is a bireflective full subcategory of the category of intuitionistic topological spaces.

This paper concerns a relationship between rough sets, intuitionistic fuzzy sets and ring theory. We consider a ring as a universal set and we assume that the knowledge about objects is restricted by an intuitionistic fuzzy ideal. We apply the notion of intutionistic fuzzy ideal of a ring for definitions of the lower and upper approximations in a ring. Some properties of the lower and upper approximations are investigated.
