지역 특성을 고려한 피더의 정전비용 모델 (Interruption Cost Model of the Feeder Considering the Local Characteristics)

  • 본 논문은 지역 특성에 따른 각 피더의 정전비용 모델을 제시하였다. 수용가 형태별 정전비용은 한국전기연구원에서 실시한 국내 배전계통의 수용가 정전비용 조사결과를 이용하였다. 특정지역에 위치한 피더의 정전비용 산출을 위하여 주택용, 상업용, 공공용, 산업용의 비율을 고려하여 합성 정전비용 모델을 수립하였다. 제시한 기법은 수도권과 중소도시 지역의 한 피더에 대해 사례연구를 수행하여 결과를 제시하였다.

  • It is raised for methodology to evaluate power system reliability using interruption cost which is converted customer loss due to interruption into cost according to power industry is rushed into competition appearance. This paper presents algorithms to evaluate reliability of distribution power system taking into consideration customer interruption cost. Customer interruption cost is considered as one of the valuable index to estimate reliability of the distribution power system from customer situation. Also. this paper estimate evaluation results regarding the reliability of distribution power system using a sample model system. Finally, evaluation results of unserved energy and system interruption cost based on customer interruption cost are shown in detail.

설문 조사방법을 이용한 수용가 정전비용 평가 (A Customer Interruption Cost Assessment Using Customer Survey)

  • This paper presents the survey results of the interruption on domestic customer, especially commercial, with primary focus on the cost are presented. General method utilized in quantifying the benefit of reliability on power system is to estimate the Customer Interruption Cost(CIC) associated with the electric service interruption. According to change the circumstance of electricity market by the deregulation and the introduction of new technology, reliable and accurate CIC is required for estimate the applied plan and technology under the circumstance. This paper presents the commercial customer interruption cost is estimated by the survey conducted by KEPCO in 2009. To collect the customer interruption data for calculation of CIC, the survey is conducted. The survey targeting commercial customer around the branch-offices under twelve regional headquarters of KEPCO was carried out.

  • This paper presents an evaluation of the interruption costs for commercial customers in Korea using customer survey methodology. When various research results are examined, the evaluation of direct interruption costs becomes much more simplified. Especially, in the case of commercial customers, it is known that the evaluation of direct interruption costs is more useful. Accordingly, this paper selected the customer survey method to evaluate the interruption costs for commercial customers in Korea considering interruption and customer characteristics.

  • As the power industry moves towards open competition, there has been a need for methodology to evaluate distribution power system reliability by using customer interruption costs, particularly in power supply zones under the competitive electricity market. This paper presents an algorithm to evaluate system average interruption duration index, expected energy not supplied, and system outage cost taking into consideration failure rate of the distribution facility and industrial customer interruption cost. Also, to apply this algorithm to evaluate system outage cost presented in this paper, the distribution arrangement of a dual supply system consisting of mostly high voltage customers in an industrial complex in Korea is used as a sample case study. Finally, evaluation results of system interruption cost, system average interruption duration index, and expected energy not supplied in the sample industrial complex area are shown in detail.

  • This paper presents an assessment of the customer interruption costs using a macro economic methodology of Korean customers by cities and provinces. The customer interruption cost is considered a very useful index in quantifying reliability worth from a customer point of view. This paper reviews the methodology to evaluate the customer interruption costs and ratio to the average revenues per electric energy sold for public, service agriculture, fishery, mining, manufacturing and residential sectors by cities and provinces in Korea.

Indium Interruption Growth법으로 성장한 InAs 양자점의 광학적 특성 (Optical Properties of InAs Quantum Dots Grown by Using Indium Interruption Growth Technique)

  • 분자선 에피택시 (molecular beam epitaxy: MBE)를 이용하여 GaAs (100) 기판에 Indium interruption growth법으로 성장한 InAs 양자점 (quantum dots: QDs)의 광학적 특성을 photoluminescence (PL)와 time-resolved PL (TRPL) 실험을 이용하여 분석하였다. In interruption growth법은 InAs 양자점 성장 동안 As 공급은 계속 유지하면서 셔터 (shutter)를 이용해 서 In 공급을 조절하는 방법이다. 본 연구에서는 In을 1초 동안 공급하고 셔터를 0초, 9초, 19초, 29초, 또는 39초 동안 닫아 In 공급을 차단하였으며, 공급과 차단 과정을 각 30회 반복하여 양자점을 성장하였다. In interruption 시간을 0초에서 19초까지 증가하였을 때 PL 피크는 1096 nm에서 1198 nm로 적색편이 (~100 nm)하고 PL 세기는 증가하였으나, 19초에서 39초까지 증가하였을 때 PL 스펙트럼의 변화는 없고 PL 세기는 감소하였다. 모든 양자점의 PL 소멸시간 (decay time)은 약 1 ns로 바닥상태 (ground state) PL 피크에서 가장 길게 나타났다. In interruption 시간이 19초인 시료가 가장 좋은 PL 특성과 가장 짧은 운반자 소멸시간을 나타내었다. PL 특성의 향상은 In interruption 시간동안 일정한 양의 In 원자들의 분리와 이동이 증가한 것으로 설명될 수 있다. 이러한 결과로부터 In interruption 법을 이용하여 InAs 양자점의 크기, 균일도, 조밀도 등을 조절하여 원하는 파장대의 양자점을 성장할 수 있음을 알 수 있다.

  • It is very important not only to detect PD signal but also to locate PD source in power cable line including its accessories. In this paper, the PID localization technique using interruption of metal sheath of cable or accessory is described. By interruption of metal sheath, the polarity of PD pulse to be measured on each part can be compared. With this technique, the exact location of PD in the accessory which has some defects can be found. Although the 'Soft' interruption method, that is, cable sheath is divided by semi-conductive layer with the resistance of higher than 1 k$\Omega$, was used instead of 'Hard' interruption method, it is also possible to detect exact location of PD. This technique is considered to be very effective for detecting PD localization in the type test of cable and accessories.

Analysis of SLF Interruption Performance of Self-Blast Circuit Breaker by Means of CFD Calculation

  • This paper presents the performance analysis results of a short line fault interruption of a gas circuit breaker, particularly a self-blast type breaker. Hot gas flow analysis was carried out using a CFD calculation combined with the arc model and nozzle ablation model. To evaluate the interruption performance, the index function was defined using the pressure in the heating chamber and the density above the arc region. The simulation and test results showed that the gas flow field and suitable choice of an interruption performance index can be used to predict the interruption characteristics and provide guidelines for designing self-blast breakers with a higher interruption capability.
