간호사의 인간관계 경험에 관한 연구 (Clinical Nurses′ lived Experience of Interpersonal Relations in the Ward Setting of the hospital)

  • The purpose of the study was to describe the essential structure of the lived experience of clinical nurses' interpersonal relations among nurses, patients, and others in the ward setting of the hospital. Method: Six nurses who have experienced from 4 to 7 years on the same ward setting, were interviewed. The data were collected from September, 2000 to May, 2001 and analyzed using Colaizzi's (1978) method of phenomenology. Result: In this study, 7 themes were extracted: difficulty of interpersonal relations after being familiar with work, developing good relations with doctors, patients, and their significant others as experience increased, generation gap among individual nurses, evaluating other nursing colleagues on their past experience in ward settings, avoiding nurses with whom one was in conflict, sometimes, resolving conflict through getting together with colleagues informally, having a limited interpersonal network, experiencing becoming mature through struggling with the difficulty of interpersonal relations. Conclusion: Nurse managers need to provide resources, opportunities, and information to clinical nurses through fully understanding the characteristics of nurses' interpersonal relations. In addition, they should minimize the factors which intervene with good interpersonal relations among clinical nurses.

일인가구의 대인관계와 삶의 만족 및 우울의 구조적 관계 (Structural Relations of Interpersonal Relationships, Life Satisfaction and Depression among People Living Alone)

  • 본 연구는 일인가구의 정신건강 증진의 기초 자료의 구축에 기여하기 위하여 일인가구의 대인관계와 우울의 관련성을 검증하고 이 관계에서 대인관계의 역할과 삶의 만족을 통해 발생하는 간접효과를 밝히고자 하였다. 이러한 관계를 구조방정식 모형 분석을 통하여 분석하기 위해 동거가족 없이 혼자 거주하고 있는 20세 이상 일인가구 300명을 대상으로 전국 규모의 대표성이 있는 2012년도 한국종합사회조사(Korean General Social Survey, KGSS) 자료를 활용하였다. 분석 결과 첫째, 대인관계의 질은 우울에 부적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타나 대인관계가 우울의 완화 역할을 한다는 사실을 확인하였다. 이와 함께 일인가구를 고립의 대상으로 바라보기보다 친족 관계자원을 비롯해 비친족 관계자원도 적극적으로 활용하며 이를 통해 긍정적인 대인관계를 형성해 나간다는 대인관계의 강점자원을 발견했다. 둘째, 대인관계의 질은 주관적 삶의 만족도에 영향을 미쳐 궁극적으로 우울을 감소시키는 삶의 만족의 간접효과가 밝혀졌다. 이러한 연구결과를 바탕으로 혼자 사는 사람의 삶의 만족도 향상 및 우울 수준 완화를 위한 현실적인 실천적 개입 방안들을 제안하였다.

Metadiscourse in the Bank Negara Malaysia Governor's Speech Texts

  • The study aims to explore the use of metadiscourse in the Bank Negara Malaysia Governor's speeches based on Hyland's Interpersonal Model of Metadiscourse. The corpus data consist of 343 speech texts, which were extracted from the Malaysian Corpus of Financial English (MacFE), amounting to 688,778 tokens. Adopting both quantitative and qualitative approaches to data analysis the study investigates (1) the overall use of metadiscourse in the Bank Negara Governor's speech texts and (2) the functions of the most prominent metadiscourse resources used and their functions in the speech texts. The findings reveal that the Governor's speech texts to be interactional rather than interactive, revealing a rich distribution of interactional metadiscourse resources, namely engagement markers, self-mention, hedges, boosters and attitude markers throughout the texts. The interactional metadiscourse resources function to establish speaker-audience engagement and alignment of views, as well as to express degree of uncertainty and certainty and attitudes. The study concludes that the speech texts are not merely informational or propositional, but rather interpersonal.

조절초점이 주도적 행동에 미치는 영향: 일 희망과 대인 공정성의 조절된 매개효과 (The Effects of Regulatory Focus on Proactive Behavior: A Moderated Mediation Model of Work Hope and Interpersonal Justice)

  • Purpose - The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of regulatory focus on proactive behavior and to examine the mediating effect of work hope between superior's regulatory focus and subordinate's proactive behavior. In addition, the purpose of this study was to investigate the moderating effect of interpersonal justice between regulatory focus and work hope, and the moderated mediating effect of work hope and interpersonal justice in the relationship between regulatory focus and proactive behavior. Design/methodology/approach - This study used data 255pairs(510people) collected from Public organizations such as gu office and private organizations that perform various tasks such as human resources, finance, accounting, marketing, and R&D. The Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) and the multiple regression analysis were used in order to analyze the data. Findings - The result showed that promotion focus was positively related to proactive behavior. In addition, this study found that the relationship between promotion focus and proactive behavior was mediated by work hope. Regarding the moderating roles of perceived interpersonal justice, the results showed that perceived interpersonal justice significantly interacted with promotion focus in influencing work hope. Finally, the moderated mediation analysis showed that the indirect effect of promotion focus on proactive behavior through work hope was valid only for subordinates with high perceived interpersonal justice. Research implications or Originality - In order to increase proactive behavior, it is necessary to focus on promotion focus and to increase the positive psychology such as hope. In addition, it is necessary to increase perception of interpersonal justice.

치과위생사의 인간관계능력, 직무만족 및 조직몰입이 회복탄력성에 영향을 미치는 요인 (Factors affecting the resilience of dental hygienists' interpersonal relationships, job satisfaction, and organizational commitment)

  • Objectives: This study is a descriptive analysis to identify factors that affect dental hygienists' flexibility by investigating the correlation between dental hygienists' interpersonal relationships, job satisfaction, organizational commitment, and resilience. Methods: Data were collected from October 8 to 22, 2018 using a structured questionnaire that was administered to 132 dental hygienists working in dental clinics and dental hospitals in Busan, Ulsan, and Gyeongsangnam-do. The collected data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, an independent sample t-test, one-way ANOVA, correlation analysis, and multiple regression analysis using SPSS 24.0 program. Results: First, the interpersonal relationships, job satisfaction, organizational commitment, and resilience of dental hygienists were all found above average. Second, the resilience of dental hygienists showed a significant positive correlation with interpersonal relationships (r=0.719, p<0.001), job satisfaction (r=0.328, p<0.001), and organizational commitment (r=0.519, p<0.001). Third, interpersonal relationships (t=9.87, p<0.001) and organizational commitment (t=3.30, p<0.01) were significant factors affecting the resilience of dental hygienists. Conclusions: In order to improve the resilience of dental hygienists, it is necessary to explore various ways to enhance their interpersonal relationships and organizational commitment. Furthermore, this study intends to provide basic data that are necessary for establishing a human resources management strategy for dental institutions to create a desirable organizational culture.

중소기업가 정신의 서번트리더십이 대학생의 대인관계에 미치는 융합연구 (The Convergence of the Servant Leadership of SMEs on Interpersonal Relations of University Students)

  • 본 연구는 서울시에 있는 대학교의 재학생 178명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였고, 중소기업가의 정신에 근거한 서번트리더십에 활용할 수 있는 자료를 마련하기 위해 이 연구를 실시하였다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 중소기업 인적자원인 대학생들의 서번트리더십과 대인관계의 관계가 정적인 관계로 나타났다. 이는 중소기업 인적자원으로 준비하는 대학생들의 서번트리더십이 높을수록 대인관계도 높아진다는 것이다. 둘째, 대학생의 공감대형성이 만족감에 정적인 영향을 미쳤으며, 비전제시가 이해성에 대해서는 정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 그리고, 스트레스 해소가 개방성에 대해서는 정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났고, 도덕성이 의사소통과 개방성에서는 정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 또한, 통찰력이 만족감과 이해성에 대해서는 정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.

NCS 직업기초능력 교육을 위한 이러닝 콘텐츠 설계 및 개발 : 대인관계능력을 중심으로 (Design and Development of e-Learning Contents for the NCS Vacational Core Competencies: Focusing on Interpersonal Competency)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 국가직무능력표준(NCS)에서 제시된 직업기초능력 중 대인관계능력 교육을 위한 이러닝 콘텐츠 구성요소 및 설계 전략을 도출하는 것이다. 대인관계능력 교육과정 및 내용은 표준화를 위해, NCS 개발 및 운영을 주관하는 한국산업인력공단에서 개발한 NCS 직업기초능력프로그램을 준용하였다. 표준화된 내용을 토대로 이러닝 콘텐츠 구성요소 및 설계 전략을 도출하기 위하여 선행연구 및 이러닝 사례 분석, 교수자 및 전문가 대상 설문과 면담 조사를 실시하였다. 조사 결과를 토대로 이러닝 콘텐츠를 개발하였으며, 개발된 이러닝 콘텐츠의 설계 전략의 타당성과 교육적 효과 분석을 위해 학생, 교수자, 전문가를 대상으로 평가를 실시하였다. 평가 결과, 적용한 이러닝 콘텐츠의 설계 전략이 적절하며, 개발한 이러닝 콘텐츠가 NCS 직업기초능력의 대인관계능력을 학습하는 데 도움이 되는 것으로 나타났다.

청소년의 인적 자원에 따른 인터넷 중독 경향성 (The Adolescents' Internet Addiction Tendencies According to their Human Resources)

  • 본 연구에서는 청소년의 개인적 자원인 자기통제력, 문제해결능력 그리고 시간관리능력, 또 대인적 자원인 부모지지, 또래지지 그리고 교사지지에 따라 인터넷 중독 경향성의 정서적 문제, 학업 및 일상생활문제, 그리고 대인관계 문제 영역에서 어떠한 차이가 있는지를 알아보고자 하였다. 본 연구의 결과 자기통제력, 문제해결능력이 높다고 지각하는 청소년들이 낮다고 지각하는 청소년들에 비해 인터넷 사용으로 인한 정서적 문제, 학업 및 일상생활문제. 그리고 대인관계 문제를 더 적게 경험하는 것으로 나타났으며, 시간관리능력이 높다고 지각하는 청소년들이 낮다고 지각하는 청소년들에 비해 인터넷 사용으로 인한 정서적 문제, 학업 및 일상생활문제를 더 적게 경험하는 것으로 나타났다. 그리고 부모지지, 교사지지가 높다고 지각하는 청소년들이 낮다고 지각하는 청소년들에 비해 인터넷 사용으로 인한 정서적 문제, 학업 및 일상생활문제, 그리고 대인관계 문제를 더 적게 경험하는 것으로 나타났으며, 또래지지가 높다고 지각하는 청소년들이 낮다고 지각하는 청소년들에 비해 인터넷 사용으로 인한 학업 및 일상생활문제, 그리고 대인관계 문제를 더 적게 경험하는 것으로 나타났다. 또 청소년의 인터넷 오용으로 인한 정서적 문제 영역에서의 인터넷 중독 경향성에는 자기통제력, 부모지지 순으로, 청소년의 학업 및 일상생활문제 영역에서의 인터넷 중독 경향성에는 또래지지, 자기통제력 순으로, 청소년의 대인관계 문제 영역에서의 인터넷 중독 경향성에는 자기통제력, 또래지지 순으로 영향을 크게 미치는 것으로 나타났다.

The Effects of the Talent Types on Purchasing Behavior of Beauty-Service products

  • This study aims to examine the effect of talent types on the purchasing behaviour of beauty-service products in 367 adults(female and male). The present study is the first to consider both talent types and the purchasing behaviour of beauty-service products correlates to appearance management behaviour. Frequency analysis showed that the mean of 8 talent types of 367 participants was 3.324. The highest talent type of 367 participants was interpersonal talent, the lowest talent type was logical-mathematical talent among 8 talent types. There were statistically significant relationships between the talent types(specially, bodily-kinesthetic talent and interpersonal talent) and the purchasing criteria of beauty-service products on the correlation analysis. And the effects of 8 talent types on the purchasing frequency of 4 beauty-service products were significant on the regression analysis, specifically, the results showed that the most significant among 8 talent factors was the interpersonal talent, next, the bodily-kinesthetic was. Thus, the more purchasing frequency of beauty-services products, the higher interpersonal talent were, and the better affinity with others were. As a results, the interpersonal talent factor and bodily-kinesthetic talent factor among 8 talent factors were ultimately affecting the appearance management behaviour. The higher the score, it was concluded that the subject was more active in beauty-related behavior. Conclusively, the appearance is a form of personal asset for one's self-fulfillment, and strong and beautiful appearance is a medium to improve self-esteem and dominance. It is possessing a significant influence in personal satisfaction, self-identity, and social success.

중국 조직구성원의 집단주의 성향과 조직몰입 및 대인간 도움행위의 관계: 세대간 차이를 중심으로 (Chinese Employees' Collectivism Orientation, Organizational Commitment, and Interpersonal Helping Behavior: A Generational Difference)

  • Purpose - This study aims to examine the relationship between Chinese employees' collectivism orientation and organizational commitment and interpersonal helping behavior and verify the differences of such relationships between new and the previous generation of employees. Design/methodology/approach - The 262 Chinese employees participated in self-reported survey through online platform. The confirmatory factor analysis and the hierarchical regression analysis were performed to test hypotheses. Findings - We found that Chinese employees' collectivism orientation positively influenced their organizational commitment and interpersonal helping behavior. Regarding the moderating role of generation, our result revealed that while the positive relationship between collectivism orientation and organizational commitment was significant for previous generation of employees, such relationship was not valid for new generation employees. However, there was no significant generational difference in the relationship between collectivism orientation and interpersonal helping behavior. Research implications or Originality - Considering that there have been relatively few empirical studies examining the interaction between employees' cultural characteristic and generations, this study contributes to demonstrate that the positive influence of Chinese employees' collectivism orientation on organizational commitment vary depending on Chinese generations. In addition, this study provides implications that organizational leaders in China should understand that the generational difference can influence how employees' collectivism orientation leads to their attitudes towards organizations and need to establish human resource management system by reflecting generational difference.
