This is a descriptive research study to confirm the mediating effect of empathy in the relationship between communication skills and interpersonal relationship of MZ generation nursing students. The subjects of this study were 129 nursing students born in 1981 to 2006, corresponding to the MZ generation, and the data collection period was from May 20 to July 30, 2023. The collected data were analyzed using the SPSS 25.0 program, and the mediating effect of empathy was tested by Baron and Kenny's three-step mediating effect verification procedure, and Sobel test was conducted to test the statistical significance of the mediating effect. As a result of the analysis, communication skills (β=.45, p<.001) and empathy (β=.18, p=.008) had a significant effect on interpersonal relationship. These variables were found to have 48.4% explanatory power for interpersonal relationship. Empathy had a partial mediating effect (z=2.39, p=.016) in the relationship between communication skills and interpersonal relationship. Based on the results of this study, it is necessary to understand the characteristics of the MZ generation familiar with the non-face-to-face culture that will be in charge of future nursing and to develop effective programs to improve their interpersonal relationship.

Purpose : The purpose of this study is to investigate nursing students' levels of and relationships between college-related stress, self-efficacy, social support, and interpersonal skills. Methods : This study involved 352 nursing students at K University in B City, each who understood the study's purpose and agreed to participate in the study. The study's data were collected between April 8 and 19, 2019 and were analyzed using the SPSS for Windows 22.0 program based on frequencies, percentages, means, and standard deviations as well as a t-test, analysis of variance, post-hoc test, and correlation analysis results. The Scheffe test was performed for the post-hoc test, and the Pearson correlation coefficient was employed for the correlation analysis. Results : College-related stress showed statistically significant negative correlations with self-efficacy (r=-.310, p<.001), social support (r=-.312, p<.001), and interpersonal skills (r=-.226, p<.001). However, self-efficacy exhibited statistically significant positive correlations with social support (r=.548, p<.001) and interpersonal skills (r=.524, p<.001), and social support showed a statistically significant positive correlation with interpersonal skills (r=.644, p<.001). Therefore, higher levels of self-efficacy and social support and a lower level of college-related stress result in corresponding higher levels of interpersonal skills. Conclusion : Based on the results of this study, it is necessary to find measures to lower nursing students' college-related stress and increase their self-efficacy and social support, as well as to develop and operate specific intervention programs that can help enhance their interpersonal skills.

Purpose: This study is descriptive survey research that examined nurses' communication skills perceived by inpatient children's parents for short period due to acute diseases in children's hospital and aimed to make a qualitative improvement of nursing with the basic materials for improving nursing service for inpatient children. Methods: The subjects were 177 parents of children who were hospitalized in a children's hospital in Gwangju from May 1 to June 16, 2009. A structured questionnaire which consisted of a communication and interpersonal skills developed by Yodkowsky et al. (2006). Data collected from them were processed and analyzed with the SPSS/WIN program. Results: Nurses' communication skills as perceived by the parents of inpatients scored an average 4.11, communication scored 4.02, and interpersonal relationship scored 4.18. The scores of interpersonal relationship were mostly higher. Nurses' communication skills as perceived by the parents of inpatients according to general characteristics showed statistically significant differences depending on the number of children and the birth order. Conclusion: it was considered that nurses' emotional characteristics were important for inpatient children. it is thought that the positive communication skills considering the emotional aspects in planning and performing nursing for inpatient children should be achieved.

This study reviewed the interpersonal relationship skill of university students who have the higher tendency of covert narcissism by adult attachment that is negative emotion among internal psychological states and to verify the mediated effect on adult attachment in the relationship between covert narcissism and interpersonal relationship skill so as to relieve their interpersonal problems. The study subjects included 447 university students in Seoul and Gyeonggi Province, and survey research was conducted from July 6 to 31, 2020. Data analysis was performed using SPSS 23.0 and AMOS 23.0. Study results are as follows. First, covert narcissism of university students was shown to negatively affect interpersonal relationship skills. Second, covert narcissism of university students was shown to positively affect adult attachment. Third, adult attachment of university students was shown to negatively affect interpersonal relationship skills. Fourth, the significant mediated effect of adult attachment was found in the relationship between covert narcissism of university students and their interpersonal relationship skill. The study results imply that it is necessary to assist university students who are not good at developing interpersonal relationships to enhance their attachment level together with efforts to change covert narcissism.

This study analyzed the effects of interpersonal skills of college students on basic competence. The results of this study were as follows: 81 male students (34.6%) and female students (65.4%) were surveyed. First, as a result of analyzing the differences in improvement of basic competence according to interpersonal skills, leadership ability was found to be a relationship between heterosexuality (p <.001, ${\beta}=.378$), individual fellowship (p < (P <.01, ${\beta}=.313$), and negotiation ability had a significant effect on individual friendship (p <.05, ${\beta}=.267$). Second, the correlation between interpersonal abilities and leadership abilities showed that interpersonal abilities correlated with leadership abilities due to individual friendship - leadership abilities, leadership abilities - heterosexuality, interpersonal relationship - leadership abilities. Third, the differences in the basic occupational ability according to gender were male students (M = 3.90), female students (M = 3.58), male students (M = 3.59) Male students (M = 4.16) and female students (M = 3.79) were higher than male students. The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of interpersonal skills of college students on the improvement of basic competence and to verify the effectiveness of personal interpersonal skills.

The aim of this survey has been to investigate the effects of positive psychological capital of students from some universities in Busan and Ulsan on communication skills and interpersonal skills. As a result of the relationship with the main variables, there was a significant positive correlation between sub-factors of positive psychological capital and each ability. Hope(p<0.01) and Resiliency(p<0.05) among the effects of positive psychological capital on communication skills were statistically significant, and, in case of those on interpersonal skills, Resiliency(p<0.001), Efficacy(p<0.05), and Hope(p<0.05) were statistically significant. Therefore, it is necessary to develop and apply an intervention program that can establish the importance of positive psychological capital and strengthen positive psychological capital in order to improve students' communication and interpersonal skills.

Purpose: This study was done to identify the effects of the Korean Enneagram program on college nursing students' ego-identity, interpersonal relationships and self-leadership. Methods: A nonequivalent control group pre-posttest design was used. Twenty-nine students were in the experimental group receiving the Korean Enneagram program, and 28 were in the control group with no treatment. Results: 'The experimental group will show higher scores for ego-identity (t=3.97, p<.001), interpersonal relationship (t=3.26, p=.002) and self-leadership (t=2.91, p=.007) compared to the control group 8 weeks after the program finished' was supported by significant differences in the scores between the two groups. Conclusion: The findings indicate that the Korean Enneagram Program has a significant effect on improving ego-identity, interpersonal skills and self-leadership in nursing college students and the program can be used as a tool to promote the ego-identity, interpersonal skills and self-leadership of nursing students.

Purpose: This study aimed to investigate the relationship between the subject's self-esteem, major satisfaction, and interpersonal ability, and to identify factors that affect interpersonal relationships. Methods: The subjects of this study were 135 nursing college students in the third and forth grades enrolled in a college located in B Metropolitan City. Data were collected using a structured questionnaire was used, and the data collection period was from July 13, 2020 to August 9, 2020. Results: The average degree of self-esteem, major satisfaction, and degree of interpersonal relationship were relatively high. The interpersonal relationship ability according to the general characteristics of the subjects showed significant differences in religion, residence type, departmental friend, health status, and satisfaction with clinical practice. The factors influencing the subject's interpersonal relationship ability were in the order of self-esteem, major satisfaction, good health, and traces of residence. Conclusion: Based on the results of this study, it is considered necessary to develop a nursing intervention program that can enhance the interpersonal skills of nursing college students.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of interpersonal relationships and communication skills of nursing students who received blended learning classes on adjustment to college Life. The subjects of this study were 133 first and second year nursing students. The survey was conducted from november 22th to december 3th. 2021. The data was analyzed with the SPSS/WIN 26.0 program. Descriptive statistics and meen differences were analyzed using an t-test, ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficient, Multiple regression. The result adjustment to college life of interpersonal relationship, communication competence it was found that there was a significant positive correlation between. The factors of communication competence, interpersonal relationship, Nursing and admissions motivation were impact on the adjustment to college life level of nursing students. The explanatory power of this was 44.3%. In conclusion, a strategy for improving communication skills and smooth interpersonal relationships is needed so that nursing students who have received blended learning can adjustment to college life.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate sales managers' strategic focus on customer acquisition, specifically its effect on salespeople's performance. In addition, this study aimed to determine how salespeople's interpersonal skills, salesmanship skills, and technical knowledge affect the relationship between customer-acquisition management and salespeople's performance. Research design, data, and methodology: This study conducted a survey of 310 salespeople working at pharmaceutical companies. A structural equation modeling approach was applied to test the main effects and interaction effects using AMOS. Results: The results indicated that both managers' customer-acquisition orientation and salespeople's salesmanship skills and technical knowledge positively affected the latter's performance. Further, it was found that the higher the technical knowledge of the salesperson, the greater the effect of the customer-acquisition orientation on sales performance. Conclusions: Sales managers should enable salespeople to quickly acquire technical knowledge with respect to the market, products, competitors, and company policy so that they can bring greater synergy to the customer-acquisition orientation.
