항만하역근로자의 직무 스트레스와 자아탄력성이 직무 스트레스 회복경험에 미치는 영향 (The Impacts of Job Stress and Ego-resilience on Recovery Experience from Job Stress in the Container Terminal Workers)

  • Purpose: This study was conducted to identify the factors affecting container terminal worker's recovery experience from job stress. Methods: The subjects were 299 workers from one S dock in P city. Data were collected from April 5 to June 5, 2015 and analyzed by SPSS/WIN 18.0 program using descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, $Sheff{\acute{e}}$ test, Pearson's correlation coefficients, and logistic regression. Results: The mean scores of job stress, ego-resilience, and recovery experience from job stress were 47.18, 46.90, and 49.17 respectively. Recovery experience according to the general characteristics showed significant correlation between daily exercise. There was a significant negative correlation between recovery experience and job stress, and a positive correlation between recovery experience and ego-resilience. Recovery experience was 2.54 times higher for a high ego-resilience group than for a low ego-resilience group, and the group that exercised was 2.25 times higher, than the non-exercising group. The group with a low level of interpersonal conflict was 1.97 times higher, than a group with a high level of interpersonal conflict. Conclusion: Based on this study, intervention programs to increase ego-resilience, decrease interpersonal conflict, and encourage over 30-minute-daily exercise for in container terminal workers should be developed to improve recovery experience of job stress.

창원지역 치과위생사의 직무스트레스와 직무만족에 관한 연구 (Study on Job Stress and Job Satisfaction of Dental Hygienists in Changwon)

  • Purpose. This study was performed on survey related dental hygienist job stress and job satisfaction, to improve the work efficiency of the dental hygienist and for dental hygienist to eliminate the cause of stress for health promotion and for management to be able to help to finding ways to provide basic data. Method. This survey is based on 235 people who are dental hygienists working in Changwon city from November 1 to November 30 2012, by statistical analysis of collected data using SPSS Win Program 20.0 version t-test, univariate analysis of variance (one-way ANOVA), correlation analysis that performed to determine statistical significance with a significance level of 0.05 was considered. Results. For correlation of job satisfaction and job stress, the job demands, job insecurity, and workplace culture shows a negative correlation. For Correlation of the physical environment, insufficient job control, interpersonal conflict, and organizational system is, lack of reward shows a positive correlation. The less job stress due to Insufficient job control, interpersonal conflict, organizational system, is, the higher job satisfaction due to job demands and workplace culture is.(p <0.05), The higher job stress is, the higher the job satisfaction is(p <0.05). Conclusions. Job satisfaction and job stress may be relevant each other, there fore several measures should be sought to solve insufficient job control, interpersonal conflict, organizational system and the lack of reward, consequently to increase the job satisfaction of dental hygienists.

조선족 근로자의 직업 관련성 사회 심리적 요인, 문화적응 요인과 직업 관련성 근골격계 질환의 관계 (Relationships between Work-related Psychosocial and Acculturative Factors and Work-related Musculoskeletal Disorders among Korean-Chinese Migrant Workers Living in Korea)

  • Purpose: The purpose of the study >was to examine the prevalence of work-related musculoskeletal disorders(WMSDs) and to identify the relationship between work-related psychosocial and acculturative factors and WMSDs among Korean-Chinese workers living in Korea. Methods: A cross-sectional survey was conducted with 195 Korean-Chinese workers who have worked full-time for the past 6 months. A structured questionnaire, including measures for musculoskeletal symptoms, physical demand, work-related psychosocial(job demand, job control, interpersonal conflict), acculturative (acculturation strategy and acculturative stress), and personal factors, was used. Descriptive statistics and logistic regression analysis were conducted using the SPSS WIN 17.0. Results: The prevalence of WMSDs was 64.1%. In comparison to Korean workers, job demand of this group was lower while both interpersonal conflict and lack of job control were higher among them. Integration was the most commonly used acculturation strategy and mean scores of acculturative stress were below the median. Acculturative stress was positively correlated with integration and assimilation while negatively correlated with separation and marginalization. Interpersonal conflict and integration appeared to be related to WMSDs among male and female Korean-Chinese workers, respectively. Conclusion: The WMSD interventions need to be planned in consideration of different influences of work-related psychosocial and acculturative factors on WMSDs by gender.

The Moderating Role of Emotional Intelligence on the Relationship Between Conflict Management Styles and Burnout among Firefighters

  • Background: While the organizational factors that account for firefighters' burnout have been extensively explored, the individual factors related to how they regulate interpersonal conflicts and emotions remain to be investigated. Previous research has demonstrated the association between emotional intelligence and conflict management styles and burnout, but no study has looked at the interrelationships among these factors in high-risk sectors. The present exploratory study aimed to fill this research gap by investigating the relationships between conflict management style, emotional intelligence and burnout in a sample of firefighters. Methods: A cross-sectional study was conducted with 240 French firefighters. Measures comprised validated scales of conflict management styles, emotional intelligence and burnout. Results: Results showed that the integrating conflict style reduced burnout. They also revealed the effects of emotion regulation on burnout, whereby the awareness and management of one's own emotions reduced burnout. Moreover, awareness of one's own emotions moderated the relationship between integrating conflict resolution style and burnout, whereby the effect of integrating style on reduced burnout was higher when awareness of one's own emotions was high. Conclusion: These results reveal that strategies used by firefighters to regulate their emotions in order to meet the emotional demands specific to their job are important for reducing the emotional exhaustion component of burnout. Training programs for conflict and emotion management are needed to preserve the mental health of firefighters and ensure the safety of interventions.

안경사 직무스트레스에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Job Stress of Opticians)

  • 목적: 울산지역 안경사들의 직무스트레스 요인을 측정하고, 해당 요인의 부하와 관계된 영향요소가 무엇인지를 평가하고자 한다. 방법: 울산 지역에 근무하는 안경사 180명을 대상으로 하였다. 조사대상자의 일반적 특성에 따른 직무스트레스를 한국산업안전보건공단이 '직무스트레스요인 측정지침(KOSHA code H-42-2006)'으로 제시한 한국형 직무스트레스 요인 측정 도구(이하 측정도구)를 사용하여 조사하였다. 결과: 직무스트레스 요인 평가 결과 평가 점수의 성별 중위수 값을 한국 근로자 참고값과 비교해 볼 때 8개의 스트레스 요인들 중 남, 여 모두 관계갈등(참고값; 남, 여 33.4, 측정값; 남성 38.3, 여성 41.5)과 직장문화(참고값; 남, 여 41.7, 측정값; 남성 47.4, 여성 49.3)에서 한국 근로자 참고 값 평균보다 높은 스트레스 부하를 나타내었다. 다중회귀분석 결과 관계갈등에서는 직책이 낮고, 근무시간이 길수록, 미혼인 경우, 평균 급여가 작을수록 관계갈등에 대한 스트레스 부하가 커지는 것으로 나타났다. 직장문화에서는 최종학력이 낮을수록, 휴무일수가 적을수록, 근무경력이 많을수록, 평균 급여가 적을수록, 근무시간이 많을수록 직장문화에 대한 스트레스 부하가 커지는 것으로 나타났다. 결론: 이상의 결과들을 살펴볼 때 안경사의 주요한 직무스트레스 요인인 관계갈등과 직장문화 영역의 스트레스 요인에 대한 관리를 위해서는 안경사의 처우개선과 직장내에서 상호 수평적인 의사소통 체제를 통하여 긍정적인 조직문화를 형성하는 것이 중요한 요소라 하겠다.

대인관계 갈등을 경험하고 있는 성인여성에 대한 에니어그램상담 단일사례연구 (A Single Case Study of Enneagram Counseling for Adult Women Experiencing Interpersonal Conflict)

  • 본 연구는 에니어그램상담기법을 활용하여 대인관계에 어려움을 겪고 있는 성인여성을 상담한 사례연구이다. 에니어그램상담을 통해 내담자는 현재 직장에서 겪고 있는 대인관계 어려움에 대해 감정과 생각을 억압하지 않고 표현하는 방법을 알게 되었으며 자신의 감정을 알아차리고, 감정을 적절하게 표현하는 방법을 익힐 수 있었다. 현재 과제를 중심으로 가장 힘들고 어려운 상황에서 자신이 집착하고 있는 것이 무엇인지를 살펴보고, 대인관계의 어려움은 자아의 왜곡된 감정과 생각 등의 상호작용으로 발생한다는 것을 깨닫게 되었다. 에니어그램상담 과정 동안 내담자는 자신을 되돌아보며 새로운 의사소통방식을 이해하고, 자신감 회복을 위해 성격변화와 사회생활 속에서 교류방식 및 태도 변화를 실천하고 직장 동료와의 긍정적 관계형성을 위한 노력을 기울였다.

인구사회학적 특성 및 방문행태에 따른 등산객의 산악자전거에 의한 상충인지 - 무등산도립공원을 대상으로 - (Hikers' Perceived Conflicts about Mountain Biking by Socio-demographic and Visiting Characteristics in Mudeungsan Provincial Park)

  • 지금까지 하이킹 활동이 주를 이루어 왔던 산림휴양지역에 산악자전거 활동(MTB)이 도입되면서 휴양지역의 이용행태에 변화를 가져오고 있으며, 또한 MTB 활동의 증대는 휴양지역의 생태적, 사회적 문제를 초래할 우려가 있다. 본 연구는 인구사회학적 특성 및 방문행태에 따른 상충인지를 포함하여 MTB에 의한 등산객의 상충인지를 조사하였다. 자료수집은 2010년 9월중 무등산도립공원 등산객을 대상으로 현장설문조사를 통해 이루어 졌다. 설문조사에 참여한 388명 중 374명의 응답이 본 연구의 분석에 이용되었다. 응답자의 30.2%가 무등산도립공원내에서 MTB를 보거나 만난 것(평균: 1.7회/조사당일)으로 나타났으며, 응답자의 77.1%는 무등산 도립공원 내 MTB활동이 문제가 있다고 생각하였다. 응답자의 73.5~83.2%가 산악자전거인의 4가지 주요 행동(예, 등산로 상에서 너무 빨리 달리는 산악자전거, 등산로를 차지하고 있는 산악자전거, 등산객 옆을 너무 가까이 지나가는 산악자전거, 등산객에게 불쾌한 행동을 하는 산악자전거인)에 의하여 상충인지를 느끼는 것으로 분석되었다. 응답자의 48.5~62.4%가 "사회적 가치 상충", 11.1~32.4%가 "상호간 상충", 16.8~26.6%가 "상충 없음" 유형에 속하는 것으로 각각 나타났다. 상충유형은 인구사회학적(예, 성별, 연령, 교육수준) 및 방문(예, 방문횟수, MTB와의 조우경험) 특성과 관련이 있었다. 그러나 그러한 관계는 "MTB와의 조우 경험"을 통제하였을 때 대부분의 경우에서 성립되지 않았다.

간호대학생을 위한 공감교육 프로그램이 공감능력, 대인관계 능력 및 돌봄에 미치는 효과 (The Effect of an Empathy Education Program on Nursing Students' Empathy Ability, Interpersonal Ability, and Caring)

  • Purpose: This study aimed to develop and evaluate the effects of an empathy education program for undergraduate nursing students. Methods: The study employed a non-equivalent control group pretest-posttest design. A total of 46 nursing students were voluntarily recruited by convenience sampling from senior nursing students from the nursing department of K college in I city, Korea. Participants were divided into two groups, an experimental group of 23 and a control group of 23. The experimental intervention (empathy education program) was conducted from April 19 to May 6, 2016 and consisted of 150-minute sessions, twice a week, for 3 weeks for a total of 15 hours. Results: Participants demonstrated improvements in perspective taking in cognitive empathy, improved empathic concern in emotional empathy, and improved communicative empathy. Analysis of reflective writings identified four theme clusters regarding communicative empathy: improvement of empathic expression, experiencing comfort and healing, improvement of interpersonal relationships, and experience of conflict resolution. Improved interpersonal ability and caring were also identified. Conclusion: The empathy education program improved cognitive, emotional and communicative empathy, and interpersonal skills and care, which are all necessary qualities for nurses.

청소년의 학업스트레스와 행복의 관계에서 대인관계 유능감의 조절효과 (The Moderating Effects of Interpersonal Competence in the Correlation between Academic Stress for Adolescents and Happiness)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the moderating effects of interpersonal competence on the effects of academic stress on happiness of adolescents. For this research a survey on academic stress, interpersonal competence, and happiness was conducted with a total 487 high school students living in Daegu city. The collected data was statically processed by using SPSS 20.0 according to frequency, descriptive statistics, and multi regression analysis. The main results can be summarized as follow. First, Academic stress affected the adolescents' happiness. The higher the level of academic stress was, the smaller the adolescent's happiness. second, between academic stress and happiness, conflict management and disclosing personal information played a moderating role to reducing the academic stress. That is, it was confirmed that interpersonal competence played a moderating role on the effect that academic stress had on adolescent happiness. In conclusion, this study can be practically applied as basic information to increase happiness on adolescents. In addition, the results provided valuable insights for developing program the intervene for adolescents' happiness.

초등학생의 대인관계 문제 개선을 위한 상담전략과 실제 :용서상담교육의 적용 (A Counseling Strategy and Practice for solving Interpersonal Problems of Elementary School Students : Forgiveness Counseling Education Application)

  • 본 연구는 초등학교 교육현장에서 교사들이 직면하는 문제이자 해결해야할 부담스러운 과제가 되고 있는 초등학생의 대인관계문제 개선을 위한 상담교육 방안을 탐색, 제시하고자 하였다. 초등학생 대인관계 문제의 개선과 해결을 위한 기존 접근 방식의 특성과 제한점을 지적하고 일회적, 표면적, 문제대처 지향적인 기존 접근방식의 한계를 극복하고 보다 더 근원적이고 체계적인 관점에서 초등학생의 인간관계 문제를 개선하기 위한 상담교육 방안을 제시하였다. 즉 초등학생들로 하여금 다양한 인간관계 특히 또래관계에서의 갈등, 상처, 피해로 인해 나타나는 부정적 반응을 극복하고 건강한 반응으로 나아가게 촉진하는 용서상담교육에 대해서 논의하고 용서상담교육의 실제를 제시하였다. 마지막으로 용서상담교육이 대인관계 공격성 문제를 해결하기 위한 효과적인 인성교육방안으로 실천, 적용되기 위해서 해결되어야 할 과제를 논의하였다.
