Diversity of available communication media has increased as the use of Internet and mobile technology increased rapidly. The traditional media tend to transform their roles and functionality. This change brings about the expansion of the span of media to be selected by users. In this study, we examined the characteristics of emerging communication media use based on Niche Theory. Online communication media in this study include Internet messenger, mobile phone, and e-mail. We also analyzed the relationship between the nature of task and the selection of communication media, that is, the effects of communication contexts(formal vs. informal, notification vs. request, superior vs. inferior) where by the communication partners are involved. The result of this study, mobile phone had the highest niche competitive superiority in all communication contexts, and internet messenger and e-mail made difference according to communication contexts. Also, we can notify internet messenger and e-mail have a mutual substitutive relationship by analysis of niche overlap.

정보화 시대는 파일관리가 매우 중요하다. 제한된 메모리에서 많은 업무를 함에 따라 사용자들은 메모리 부족현상을 늘 겪는다. 이런 메모리 부족환경으로 인하여 사용자들은 보다 효율적이고 사용하기 편한 관리방법을 찾는다. 본 논문에서는 스마트 폰(smart phone)을 이용하여서 FTP Server에 접속하여 메모리를 효율적으로 관리할 수 있는 프로그램을 구현한다. 구현된 프로그램은 고정 IP를 통해 서버에 접속하고 사용자 아이디와 비밀번호를 지정하므로써, 지정된 사용자만 사용 할 수 있게 하였다. 이 FTP Client 프로그램은 체크된 파일을 전송 할 수 있게 해주고 이름변경, 삭제, 경로 변경 같은 세부기능을 가지고 있다. 구현된 프로그램 사용은 사용자들에게 스마트 폰의 메모리를 보다 효율적으로 관리할 수 있도록 하는 기능이 가능하도록 서비스를 제공한다.

초등 중학생을 대상으로 하는 인터넷 및 휴대폰 중독 요인에 대한 기존 연구에서는 집착, 자기효능감, 자기통제력 등 개인적 요인과 부모, 친구, 학교, 지역사회, 대중 매체와 같은 환경적인 요인 등을 제시하였다. 이들 연구는 대부분 학생을 중심으로 자기 자신이나 부모, 친구, 학교, 사회와 같이 상호작용 대상을 중심으로 하였다. 최근, 시간관에 대한 중요성이 강조되면서 여러 영역에서 이에 대한 연구가 시작되었는데, 아직 교육 영역에서 시간관을 다루는 연구는 거의 없다. 본 논문에서는 시간관에 대한 개념을 기술하고 초등 및 중학생들의 시간관이 인터넷 휴대폰 중독의 관점에서 어떤 영향을 미치지는 지를 살펴본다. 이를 위해 619명의 초등 중학생을 대상으로 설문을 실시한 후, 그 결과를 제시한다. 이를 통해 두 중독에 대한 관련 요인들의 상대적 중요도를 재조명하고 두 가지 중독에 대한 예방 방법을 제언한다.

In this paper, a remote monitoring system of wind-photovoltaic hybrid generation system using mobile phone and internet has been developed. Many kinds of data can be acquired, analyzed and saved automatically by this system. The hybrid system is composed of 1[kW] PV with DC/DC converter, battery banks and 5[kW] wind power system with power inductor and AC/DC converter. In addition, wind monitoring sensors, voltage and current meters, current transformers and potential transformers are used as accessory instruments. All of these signals are fed into DAQ (Data Acquisition) board after converting the data which have been processed by many types of converters, dividing circuits and signal conditioning circuits. These data can not only be displayed on a computer, transmitted using the server program to remote computer and saved on a computer as a file day by day but also be sent as a CDMA message. The monitored-data can be downloaded, analyzed and saved from server program in real-time via mobile phone or internet at a remote place. All of the programs were designed with LabVIEW software.

남녀 중학생 217명을 대상으로 자아탄력성과 또래애착의 하위영역 특성, 휴대폰 이용관련 특성이 휴대폰의 기능별 사용정도, 즉 SNS와 메신저, 인터넷, 음악기능 사용정도에 미치는 영향을 분석하기 위해 수행되었다. 남녀중학생의 68.6%가 가장 많이 사용하고 있는 휴대폰 기능은 SNS와 메신저이었다. 휴대폰 SNS & 메신저기능 사용정도는 남학생의 경우 자아탄력성의 대인관계 수준이 높을수록, 활력성 수준이 낮을수록 높았고, 여학생은 또래애착의 의 사소통수준이 높을수록 높았다. 휴대폰 인터넷기능 사용정도는 남녀학생 모두 자아탄력성의 호기심 수준이 높을수록 높았으며, 또한 여학생은 학년과 성적이 영향요인이었다. 이를 통하여 휴대폰 기능별 사용에 대한 교육과 관리가 이루어져야 하며, 또래애착과 자아탄력성를 하위영역별로 적용하여 중재로 활용할 수 있는 프로그램이 개발되어야 할 것이다.

최근 휴대 단말기는 단순한 음성 통화기능 뿐만 아니라 데이터통신 기능을 가짐으로 그 활용범위가 커지고 있다. 또한 사용자는 휴대폰에 멀티미디어 데이터를 저장하여 자신만의 개성을 나타내고자하는 요구가 증대하고 있다. 멀티미디어 데이터인 멜로디나 이미지론 저장하기 위해서는 이동통신 회사의 무선 인터넷 서버에 접속하여 다운로더 받는 방식과 PC를 통하여 다운로더 받는 방식이 있다. 전자인 경우에는 통신비의 추가 비용이 발생하고 후자의 경우 멜로디 및 이미지를 조작할 수 있는 기능이 약할 뿐만 아니라 국내 CDMA휴대 단말기 환경에 맞추어 개발되었기 때문에 GSM휴대폰엔 사용할 수가 없다. 본 논문에서는 PC을 사용하여 GSM휴대 단말기에 멜로디와 이미지를 조작하고 저장할 수 있는 PC 어플리케이션 시스템을 소개하고자 한다.

모바일 인터넷은 언제 어디서나 접속할 수 있다는 장점이 있다. 하지만 통신사와 휴대폰 단말기에 따라 컨텐츠의 규격이 달라 모바일 인터넷 컨텐츠를 제작하기 어렵다. 이 때문에 모바일 컨텐츠가 활성화되지 못하고 수익모델을 찾기도 어렵다. 우리는 모바일 컨텐츠의 활성화를 위해 일반인이 쉽게 모바일 폰피를 제작하고 서비스할 수 있는 모바일 UCC 폰피 서비스를 개발하였다. 또한 수익모델로서 UCC 폰피에 광고를 제공하기 시작하였다. 하지만 앞에서 말한 바와 같이 각기 다른 규격에 맞추기 위해서는 각각의 규격에 맞는 컨텐츠를 미리 생성해야 한다. 이 때문에 하나의 UCC 폰피에는 하나의 광고만을 제공 할 수 밖에 없었다. 기존 연구들은 각기 다른 규격을 통일하여 표준화하는 것에 집중되어 있다. 이는 새로 출시되는 휴대폰에는 적용될 수 있지만 기존의 휴대폰에는 적용하기 어렵다는 단점이 있다. 앞의 문제와 기존 연구의 단점을 해결하기 위해 본 논문에서는 사용자가 만든 UCC폰피가 서비스되는 시점에서 폰피 컨텐츠와 독립적인 광고를 실시간으로 합성하는 기술을 제안한다. 이렇게 되면 하나의 UCC폰피에 여러 광고를 제공할 수 있게 되며 특정 광고의 시작과 끝, 광고 빈도 등을 관리할 수 있게 된다. 본 논문은 이러한 방법으로 모바일 인터넷을 활성화하고 수익모델을 개선하고자 한다.

With the growing shift from traditional educational approaches and studying to the more digital classroom, using electronic textbooks and digital native's demand, there is a growing need to develop new methods for learn Kanji characters for children. The purpose of this study is to help children learn the basic Kanji by using stop motion and block methods, and approaching the basic Kanji character education with a more innovative and interactive smart phone APP. In the development of this smart phone App for children's Kanji character education proposed in this study, 100 basic Kanji characters for children are selected. These 100 characters are required for the stop motion animation production, where each selected Kanji is created as a stop-motion animation utilizing a variety of techniques, such as storytelling, to better engage children. The intelligent App is designed with image recognition technology, so that in the learning process children take a picture for the assembled block using their smart phone, the APP then recognizes whether it is assembled correctly, and then plays an animation corresponding to the assembled Kanji character.

텔레매틱스는 자동차 등 최첨단 기계산업과 이동통신 등 IT산업의 집합체로서 향후 자동차 문화에 엄청난 변화를 몰고 올 전망이다. 본 논문에서는 GPS와 CDMA 이동통신망 및 인터넷을 이용하여 구현한 순환차량 도착시각 안내 시스템에 대하여 기술하였다. 본 시스템은 GPS수신기와 이동단말기(PDA)로 구성된 탑재장치를 실은 순환 차량의 위치정보를 CDMA망 및 인터넷을 이용하여 위치서버로 전송하고, 사용자는 웹, PDA 또는 휴대전화를 이용하여 순환 차량의 현재위치와 도착예정 시각을 확인할 수 있다.

The purpose of this study was to assess the intra-tester and inter-tester reliability and validity of elbow flexion range of motion using a smart phone used by the general public. Thirty-one general people participated in this study. The range of motion in active elbow flexion was measured with a goniometer and smart phone over two times by two observers. The intra-taster and inter-tester reliability were evaluated using the intraclass correlation coefficient(ICC). The validity was measured by Pearson's correlation coefficient. The intra-observer reliability was good in all measured items ICC>0.900. The inter-observer reliability was high with ICC>0.806. All correlation coefficients of android app and goniometer were greater than 0.868 and showed a significant positive correlation (p<0.01). The range of motion measurement with a smart phone showed acceptable reliability. Therefore, using a smartphone to measure the range of motion of the elbow joint could provide convenience and economic benefits.
