  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of internet addiction prevention program on adolescents' self-regulation using systematic review and meta-analysis. Databases od domestic literature were used, Library of Congress, KERIS, KISS, domestic Journal, until 2018, eleven articles were used for meta-analysis. As a result of the study, there was statistically significant difference in the overall effect of self-regulation on the internet addiction prevention program, but the heterogeneity was high and subgroup analysis was conducted. The effects of self-regulation on the Internet addiction prevention program according to subjects were statistically significant in both elementary and middle & high school students. The effect size of self-regulation by internet addiction was statistically significant..Therefore, it's necessary to develop an Internet addiction prevention program according to the characteristics of elementary and middle & high school students.

  • This study was to meta-analyze the effects of the internet addiction programs for elementary, junior, and high school students. The 54 programs to meet the conditions for meta-analysis were selected using internet search on the homepage of National Digital Library, KERIS, and National Assembly Library and the key words such as 'internet', 'addiction', 'counseling', and 'program' were used for searching the programs. The results of this study were followings: First, the average score of the effect sizes of 54 programs was 1.89 and thus the internet addiction programs had great positive effects on the improvement of adolescent's internet addiction. Second, all the programs' effect size scores showed more than 1.25 except psychological education program. Third, there were no significant differences at the effect size scores among elementary school students' goup, junior school student's group, and high school students' group. Fourth, when programs had more than 6 sessions, the programs showed desirable effect size. Fifth, when programs had were less than 15 subjects, the program's effect sizes were sufficiently great.

  • Recently, image analysis research has been actively conducted due to the accumulation of big image data and the development of deep learning. Image analytics research has different characteristics from other data such as data size, real-time, image quality diversity, structural complexity, and security issues. In addition, a large amount of data is required to effectively analyze images with deep-learning models. However, in many fields, the data that can be collected is limited, so there is a need for meta learning based image analysis technology that can effectively train models with a small amount of data. This paper presents a comprehensive survey of meta-learning-based object-tracking techniques. This approach comprehensively explores object tracking methods and research that can achieve high performance in data-limited situations, including key challenges and future directions. It provides useful information for researchers in the field and can provide insights into future research directions.

  • This study reviewed and ascertained policy researches relating to the Internet in the field of communication. With using a meta-analysis, this study attempts to classify 44 academic papers from 2000 to 2009 by research theme, methodology, theoretic rationale, related sub-theme, and targeted service and area. It is found that the themes of preceding researches examined herein were limited to the 4th domain in Developmental Model of Media Research. Such researches mainly relied on exploratory studies and only a few of them addressed theoretic rationales. Also, most of Internet regulation discussions focused on content regulation and general internet service. Lastly, researchers discussed laws having bearing on the Internet and social-cultural issues of the Internet.

  • The Open-Market internet shopping malls has rapidly been growing over the past few years. Thus, this study compares Meta-Mall and Open-Market, as well as evaluates image factors of the internet shopping mall in order to verify different levels of influence on customer satisfaction and revisit intentions. The subject of stud was made for students enrolled in colleges in the Busan area, using this Data collection method. Data were gathered using a questionnaire and through personal interviews from a sampling made from May 1 to May 8, 2008. The final 337 accomplished questionnaire forms were used for the subsequent analysis. The results of the substantial analysis are as follows. First, the following factors affect the image of internet shopping malls: assortment of goods and information service, site design, convenience, reliability of goods and information, and customer service. In Meta-Mall, these same factors, except customer service, were found to influence customer satisfaction, while in Open-Market, all the five factors were found to influence customer satisfaction. In Open-Market, convenience and reliability of goods and information had especially high levels of influence on customer satisfaction. Second, customer satisfaction with Internet shopping malls was found to influence the intentions of the customers to make a revisit. The result of the study shows that the factors of shopping mall image between Meta-Mall and Open-Market are perceived differently by their customers, and differences were found in the levels of their influence on customer satisfaction.

  • With the continuous development of the game field, the subdivision of game types is becoming more and more precise. There are also more and more games that draw on some achievements in other fields in their game design. Among them are meta-fiction games based on metafiction. This article will explore whether the combination of a meta-fiction game and a side-scrolling game with a unique visual experience is appropriate. If the side-scrolling game is the external form of the game, then the meta-fiction game is the internal content core of the game. The degree of fit between the external form and the internal core will undoubtedly determine the lower limit and upper limit of the game quality. Based on alienation theory, this article takes several highly rated side-scrolling games on the market as examples to conduct a theoretical analysis on the compatibility of side-scrolling games and metafiction games. The analysis results suggest that compared to first-person games, side-scrolling games with a unique third-person perspective have the best compatibility with meta-games.

  • This meta-analysis systematically reviewed studies on mirror therapy focused on arm and hand function in stroke patients, aiming to comprehensively assess the efficacy of mirror therapy interventions and furnish empirical support for its potential application and future development in the context of stroke rehabilitation. A rigorous search for articles published in international journals up to the year 2022 was conducted. Various assessment tools were employed to calculate effect sizes, evaluating the impact of mirror therapy on arm and hand function in stroke patients. Utilizing a random-effects model, mean effect sizes were determined, yielding a total effect size of 0.545. The effect sizes for the Brunnstrom Recovery Stage (BRS), Box and Block Test (BBT), Modified Barthel Index (MBI), Fugl-Meyer Assessment (FMA), and grip strength test were 0.957, 0.596, 0.490, 0.488, and 0.417, respectively. In summary, we suggest that mirror therapy engenders positive changes in functional recovery among stroke patients, establishing a foundation for its tailored clinical application based on individual subject characteristics.

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate how and which meta tags are used, which meta tags are used frequently, and what relationships there are between retrieval of WWW documents and meta tags. For the study, 1,000 WWW documents were selected and examined from OCLC NetFirst. The total of 92 meta tags was discovered and "description" and "keywords"meta tags were analyzed intensively. In addition, analysis of WWW documents showed that there are no significant relationships in meta tag usages between documents retrieved at the beginning and documents retrieved at the end. Comparative study between general internet search engines and commercial DBs such as NetFirst is suggested as a further study.
