This study was carried out to strengthen institution of international youth change in rural area. References, in the field of international cooperation international youth exchange and youth's volunteer service were reviewed. Considering rural situation, poor human resources in terms of foreign languages and globalization are major problems for international youth exchange. Such problems as poor network among relevant organizations for international youth change, low level of rural internationalization and lacking of development plan for exchange program were pointed out. For effective international youth exchange, the following strategies were suggested : 1) networking among youth, local government, industries and community, 2) youth education for global citizenship, 3) globalization of local industries, local government, and rural community, et.c.

International contractors must consider the substantial risks related to unexpected foreign exchange fluctuation incurred by conducting their business and using foreign currencies in foreign countries. Most international contractors attempt to minimize foreign exchange exposure within a manageable range because it may influence the company's fundamental financial structure, reduce market value or profit margins, or disrupt ongoing and future projects. This research provides a qualitative study of existing foreign exchange exposure (transaction, operation, and translation exposure) and current & effective foreign exchange risk management in American and Korean international contractors, as they represent both new and long-time members of the global construction market. Finally, recommendations of techniques for new and existing international contractors to minimize and better manage foreign exchange risk will be offered.

International exchange implementing the Internet began inevitably due to the pandemic, but it provided Digital Nomads with new experiences in their lives using the Internet. This study the possibility and challenge of international exchange implementing the Internet identified. To this end, we explored its strengths and weaknesses through interviews and descriptions of students who participated in international exchange. As a result, we identified that students were positive in the diverse aspects of communication tools and ways, whereas they were negative because they felt difficulties in the physical environment, inaccessible physical conditions especially. They were also negative in the emotional exchange, an ice-breaking which needed much more time than offline exchange. Therefore, we identified in the case of designing or conducting student activities implementing the Internet, including international exchange, the possibility of activities implementing the Internet could be much more extended if their developer various programs considered in the introduction step.

코로나-19시대에서 대학의 국제교류도 예외 없이 종단되거나 새로운 방안을 요구하고 있다. 특히 대학교육에서 국제교류는 큰 비중을 차지하는 바, 학생들이 재학하는 기간 동안 코로나-19로 인해 피해를 받는 일을 최소화하여야 하는데 국제교류도 큰 영향을 받고 있는 현실이다. 이에 적극적으로 대응할 수 있는 미국하와이주립대의 국제교류 방안을 예시로 제안하며, 양국 대학의 교류에 도움이 되기를 희망한다.

This study aims to understand microaggressions directed toward international students from the perspective of international exchange professionals, who tend to be in relatively close contact with international students. This study targeted professionals who directly advise and support international students at university international exchange centers in J and G cities. The data were collected by conducting focus group interviews with seven participants in two groups from 25 May to 8 June 2023. After analyzing the interview data using thematic analysis, two themes emerged: the experiences of international students and the perspectives of international exchange professionals. The experience of international were further categorized into three sub-themes: differences in cultural context, academic discrimination, and discrimination due to lack of information. The perspectives of international exchange professionals were further categorized into three sub-themes: limited access to infrastructure, different perspectives depending on the level of the country, and consideration as a barrier. It is hoped that the findings of this study, obtained by exploring the microdiscrimination faced by international students at universities, will facilitate the development of different systems and policy recommendations to improve the experiences of international students.

This paper investigates the linkages between returns both in foreign exchange and stock markets, and uncertainties in two markets using daily data for the period of 16 July 2004 to 30 June 2014 in Nepalese economy. Four hypotheses are tested about how uncertainty influences the stock index and exchange rates. From the empirical results, a bivariate EGARCH-M model is the best to explain the volatility in the two markets. There is a negative relationship from the exchange rates return to stock price return. Empirical results do provide strong empirical confirmation that negative effect of stock index uncertainty and positive effect of exchange rates uncertainty on average stock index. GARCH-in-mean variables in AR modeling are significant and shows that there is positive effect of exchange rates uncertainty and negative effect of stock index uncertainty on average exchange rates. Stock index shocks have longer lived effects on uncertainty in the stock market than exchange rates shock have on uncertainly in the foreign exchange market. The effect of the last period's shock, volatility is more sensitive to its own lagged values.

This study uses monthly data from January 2009 to December 2020 to examine the effectiveness of foreign currency intervention and its influence on monetary policy in Vietnam using a Hierarchical Bayesian VAR model. The findings suggest that foreign exchange intervention has little influence on the exchange rate level or exports, but it can significantly minimize exchange rate volatility. As a result, we can demonstrate that the claim that Vietnam is a currency manipulator is false. As well, the forecast error variance decomposition results reveal that interest rate differentials mainly determine the exchange rate level instead of foreign exchange intervention. Moreover, the findings suggest that foreign exchange intervention is not effectively sterilized in Vietnam. Inflation is caused by an increase in international reserves, which leads to an expansion of the money supply and a decrease in interest rates. Although the impact of foreign exchange intervention grows in tandem with the growth of international reserves, if the sterilizing capacity does not improve, rising foreign exchange intervention will instead result in inflation. Finally, we use a rolling window approach to examine the time-varying effect of foreign exchange intervention.

이 글은 국제교육교류의 성격을 밝히고, 그 가능성을 살펴본 것이다. 이 목적 달성을 위해 우선 국제교육교류라는 것은 국가 간 교육에 대한 교류를 함으로써 경제적으로 낙후한 지역에 대한 지원과 더불어 국가들 간의 상호이해에 기반해 전 세계의 발달에 기여하는 것에서 그 의미를 찾을 수 있는 것이다. 다음으로 국제교육교류에 대한 현황을 교육부, 국립국제교육원, 경남교육청 국제교육교류센터의 내용을 살펴보았다. 이들 세 주체에 나타난 국제교육교류에 대한 현황에서는 실천적인 측면에서 활동을 하고 있지만, 이들을 이론화하여 설명이나 예측을 행하는 것에는 한계가 보이기도 하였다. 이러한 것을 토대로 국제교육교류의 가능성은 정부나 교육청의 실천력 강화는 교육의 타율성을 가져올 수 있고, 자원이 부족한 나라에 대한 지원을 통해 해당 국가의 성장에 기여할 수 있으며, 개발도상국에 개발 원조에 대한 제한성이 있고, 우리나라 학문적 발전에 대한 저조한 노력이 있고, 연구방법론의 활성화를 통한 학문 정체성의 확립에 대해 논의하였다.

The purpose of this study is to estimate the risk premium hedge ratio in foreign exchange risk of the foreign exchange rate insurance. The applicants of exchange rate insurance and Korea Export Insurance Corporation will be facing the risk in change of currency and guaranteed currency’s swap point upon contract being made. Also upon making decision of hedging exchange rate insurance, the company will need to be aware of the risk causing due to change in swap point.
