This study investigated the factors that facilitate knowledge creation of team with the aspect of knowledge management. We considered two characteristics which are team members' psychological characteristics (achievement needs and conflict emotion) and knowledge network characteristics among team members (internal cohesion and external bridging) and verified the relationship between these characteristics and team performance. Furthermore, we examined whether these characteristics have a different effect on team performance according to the mastery climate. This study performed a survey targeting team members in knowledge based firms and 376 final surveys to be used as a sample in this study. The result showed that team members' psychological characteristics and knowledge network characteristics among Team members have an influence on team performance significantly. In addition, the master climate moderated the relationship between team members' psychological characteristics and team performance.

This Paper examines the effect of IT knowledge and IT communication on the operational performance of small firms. Small firms which could be defined firms with less than 50 people in total lags behind medium and large firms in computerization. In order to fill up the computerization gap resulted from size differences, Korean government has been promoting the 'Networking Small Firms' project since 2001. Survey data with 698 small firms in Korea, we could find that If knowledge and IT communication significantly contributed to the operational performance of small firms. Internal process performance is affected by individual IT knowledge, traditional communication, and e-mail communication. Customer performance is affected by above three factors, organizational IT knowledge and internet/EDI communication. Interestingly, financial performance is not affected by traditional communication but only IT knowledge and IT communication.

본 연구는 국내 중소제조업에서 수출비중과 지식탐색활동 특성간의 관계를 살펴보고자 한다. 본 연구는 2011년 "중소기업기술통계조사"에 참여한 중소제조업체 2,145개를 대상으로 각 기업의 수출 비중이 조직 내부와 외부 지식탐색활동에 미치는 영향을 실증적으로 분석하였다. 분석 결과, 국내 중소기업의 지식탐색활동은 주요 고객과 시장의 지리적 구성에 따라서 차이가 있었다. 즉, 내수 지향적이거나 수출 지향적 중소기업은 조직 내부 및 외부에 위치한 새로운 지식과 정보를 탐색하고 활용하는데 적극적이었지만, 수출과 내수 시장을 모두 추구하는 기업은 조직 내부 및 외부지식탐색의 수준이 상대적으로 낮았다. 연구의 이론적 시사점은 중소기업이 수출과 지식탐색 및 역량 간의 관계에 대해 새로운 지식을 확장하는 데 이바지한 것이다. 또한, 외부 지식탐색활동 자체도 조직 내부의 특성에 따라 달라질 수 있음을 실증한 것에서도 의의를 찾을 수 있다. 실무적 관점에서는 내수기업에서 수출확대 및 글로벌 중소기업으로 발전에 대해 각 과정의 기업들이 서로 다른 지식탐색활동을 보이고 있다는 점에서 관련 정책 및 지원프로그램의 설계와 운영에도 참조할 수 있다는 것이다.

Knowledge management (KM) continues to receive mounting interest within the construction industry due to its potential to offer solutions for organisations seeking competitive advantage. This paper presents a KM input-process-output conceptual model comprising unique and well-defined theoretical constructs representing KM practices and their internal and external determinants in the context of construction. The paper also presents the underlying principles used in operationally defining each construct using extant KM literature, and offers a number of testable hypotheses that capture the inter-relationships between the identified constructs.

본 논문에서는 웹브라우저를 이용하여 로봇을 원격 제어한다. 4대의 독립된 PC를 사용하여 각각의 기능을 분리하고 상호 연동하는 구조로 PC를 연결하였다. 조작자가 시간과 장소에 제약받지 않고 웹 브라우저를 이용하여 제어값을 입력하면 제어값은 웹 서버를 거쳐 데이터베이스에 저장된다. 로봇과 연결된 PC는 데이터베이스에서 1ms 간격으로 제어값을 입력받아 제어값의 변화가 있을 경우만 제어값의 변화량으로 로봇이 동작한다. 스텝모터를 이용하여 간단한 로봇을 제작하고 이를 웹 브라우저를 이용하여 실제 동작시킨다. 조작자가 원하는 제어값이 최종 수신단의 로봇에 제대로 전달되어 동작하는지 확인하고 웹브라우저를 이용한 로봇제어의 가능성을 확인하였다.

Cooperative query answering is a research effort to develop a fault-tolerant and intelligent database system using the semantic knowledge base constructed from the underlying database. Such knowledge base has two aspects of usage. One is supporting the cooperative query answering process for providing both an exact answer and neighborhood information relevant to a query. The other is supporting ongoing maintenance of the knowledge base for accommodating the changes in the knowledge content and database usage purpose. Existing studies have mostly focused on the cooperative query answering process but paid little attention to the dynamic knowledge base maintenance. This paper proposes a multi-level knowledge representation framework called Knowledge Abstraction Hierarchy(KAH) that can not only support cooperative query answering but also permit dynamic knowledge maintenance, On the basis of the KAH, a knowledge abstraction database is constructed on the relational data model and accommodates diverse knowledge maintenance needs and flexibly facilitates cooperative query answering. In terms of the knowledge maintenance, database operations are discussed for the cases where either the internal contents for a given KAH change or the structures of the KAH itself change. In terms of cooperative query answering, four types of vague queries are discussed, including approximate selection, approximate join, conceptual selection, and conceptual join. A prototype system has been implemented at KAIST and is being tested with a personnel database system to demonstrate the usefulness and practicality of the knowledge abstraction database in ordinary database application systems.

지식경영 전략과 기업성과 간의 실증연구는 연구자에 따라 그 결과가 매우 다르게 나타나고 있다. 이러한 연구결과의 불일치는 실제 비지니스 환경하에서 대다수의 기업은 다양한 지식경영 전략들을 동시에 활용하고 있음에도 불구하고 대다수의 기존의 연구는 개별 지식경영 전략과 기업성과간의 관계에만 초점을 두고 있었기 때문이다. 본 연구는 이와 같은 문제점을 해결하기 위해 경제학이론 가운데 하나인 상호보완이론(complementarity theory)을 기반으로 지식경영 전략들 간의 상호보완관계를 파악하고 이러한 상호보완관계가 기업성과에 미치는 영향을 전체적인 관점(holistic perspective)으로 분석하고자 한다. 이를 위해, 기존 연구를 바탕으로 지식경영 전략을 도출하였으며 국내 139개의 대기업을 기반으로 실증연구를 수행하였으며 이를 통해 지식경영 전략 간의 상호보완관계가 기업성과에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다. 학문적 측면에서 보면 본 연구는 경제학으로부터 새로운 이론과 분석방법론을 도입함으로써 기존 연구의 한계를 극복할 수 있는 새로운 연구 프레임웍과 방법론을 제시하였으며 이를 통해 지식경영 연구의 지평을 넓힐 수 있을 것으로 기대된다. 실무적 관점에서 보면 기업성과를 향상시킬 수 있는 다양한 지식경영 전략들 간의 상호보완관계를 제시함으로써 경영자에게 효과적인 지식경영 전략을 구축할 수 있는 가이드라인의 역할을 할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

Pubescent Angelica is generally used in musculoskeletal diseases of lower extremity, itching, external contraction (外感) and furuncle, with the effect of dispelling wind, draining dampness, dispersing the external (解表) and stopping pain. The disease parts of Treasured Mirror of Eastern Medicine (東醫寶鑑) contain 121 examples of the usage of Pubescent Angelica. Cases of musculoskeletal diseases and itching are mainly in the External Bodily Elements section (外形篇), and those of external contraction and furuncle are mainly in the Miscellaneous Disorder section (雜病篇). Internal Bodily Elements section (內景篇) has 10 prescriptions that involve Pubescent Angelica, in Dreams (2), Voice (1), Uterus (4), Parasites (1), and Feces (2) chapters. Their specific symptoms are insomnia and sleep paralysis (Dreams), loss of voice due to external contraction (Voice), uterine hemorrhage (Uterus), phthisis (Parasites), and constipation and diarrhea (Feces). It is not easy for students beginning their clinical training to link the effects of Pubescent Angelica and its actual usage, especially in the area of internal medicine. By Analyzing the whole cases of Pubescent Angelica in the Treasured Mirror, we found various usages out of reach of basic knowledge of the herb. Such method can be utilized not only in developing herbal knowledge-based products, but also in improving Korean medicine education, by enhancing the occupational competency bridging basic and clinical knowledge.

6시그마 프로젝트 관리 시스템은 6시그마 추진기업의 지식경영 시스템으로 활용되어 왔지만 벨트의 프로젝트 관리 시스템 활용이 프로젝트 성과에 미치는 영향에 대한 실증적 연구는 전무한 상황이다. 따라서 본 연구는 6시그마 프로젝트 관리시스템의 활용이 프로젝트 균형 성과지표에 미치는 영향을 구조방정식 모형을 통해 실증적으로 분석하였다. 연구 자료의 결과에 의하면 프로젝트 시스템의 활용은 6시그마 프로젝트 학습과 성장관점에 영향을 미치고, 학습과 성장 관점은 내부 프로세스 관점과 고객관점에 영향을 미치는 결과로 나타났다. 내부 프로세스는 고객관점 지표에 영향을 미치고 고객관점 지표는 재무성과에 영향을 미치는 분석의 결과가 도출되었다. 내부 프로세스는 재무성과에 직접적인 인과관계가 없는 것으로 귀결되었다. 연구모형과 더불어 대안모형 분석이 추가로 이루어졌는데 연구모형이 대안모형보다 모형 적합도에서 나은 것으로 나타났다.
