This Paper proposes the architecture of WDM(wavelength division multiplexed) based large scale photonic packet switch network, which is composed of the FC(frequency converter) and OM (output module). The features of the proposed WDM based photonic packet switch network are 2-stage switch network, and WDM based internal optical link that is connected between FC and OM. This paper evaluates the internal call blocking characteristics of the photonic packet switch network. In results, we confirmed that the proposed WDM based photonic packet switch network has the potentiality in the practical implementation.

In this paper we present a method for automatic motion vector and brightness based video indexing and retrieval. We extract a representational frame from each shot and compute some motion vector and brightness based features. For each R-frame we compute the optical flow field; motion vector features are then derived from this flow field, BMA(block matching algorithm) is used to find motion vectors and Brightness features are related to the cut detection of method brightness histogram. A video database provided contents based access to video. This is achieved by organizing or indexing video data based on some set of features. In this paper the index of features is based on a B+ search tree. It consists of internal and leaf nodes stores in a direct access a storage device. This paper defines the problem of video indexing based on video data models.

The latest global COVID-19 pandemic has made the use of facial masks an important aspect of our lives. People are advised to cover their faces in public spaces to discourage illness from spreading. Using these face masks posed a significant concern about the exactness of the face identification method used to search and unlock telephones at the school/office. Many companies have already built the requisite data in-house to incorporate such a scheme, using face recognition as an authentication. Unfortunately, veiled faces hinder the detection and acknowledgment of these facial identity schemes and seek to invalidate the internal data collection. Biometric systems that use the face as authentication cause problems with detection or recognition (face or persons). In this research, a novel model has been developed to detect and recognize faces and persons for authentication using scale invariant features (SIFT) for the whole segmented face with an efficient local binary texture features (DLBP) in region of eyes in the masked face. The Fuzzy C means is utilized to segment the image. These mixed features are trained significantly in a convolution neural network (CNN) model. The main advantage of this model is that can detect and recognizing faces by assigning weights to the selected features aimed to grant or provoke permissions with high accuracy.

CREST syndrome is a form of limited cutaneous scleroderma that occurs only in certain parts of the body, such as the skin of the hands and face. CREST refers to the five main features of the syndrome: calcinosis, Raynaud's phenomenon, esophageal dysmotility, sclerodactyly, and telangiectasia. Currently, there is no standard treatment for CREST syndrome, and there have been no studies of the use of traditional Korean medicine (TKM) for this disease. This study describes the effects of Keumsuyukun-jeon on CREST syndrome. The patient in this case had typical clinical symptoms of CREST syndrome. These symptoms improved within a relatively short period of receiving the TKM treatment. The results of Anti-centromere antibody (AI) and high sensitivity C-reactive protein (mg/L) also improved.

Carcinosarcoma is an uncommon pulmonary malignancy characterized by carcinomatous parenchyma and sarcomatous stroma. Pulmonary carcinosarcoma represented about 1% of the resected lung tumors. The predominant clinical features are productive cough, chest pain, dyspnea, hemoptysis, bronchiectasis, and atelectasis, but alternate atelectasis is rare. We report a case of pulmonary carcinosarcoma associated with alternate atelectasis of the right upper and lower lobe.

Object : This study was carried out to examine the effects of Shogunjungtang-ga-younggol morea on gastric ulcers. Methods : In order to study the effects of Shogunjungtang-ga-younggol morea on gastric ulcers. Gastric ulcers were induced in HCI-aspirin in rats. The experiments were done by oral administration and measured by anatohistological features of ulcer lesions, and the changes of the number of parietal cells, chief cells, gastrin and somatostatin- immunoreactive cells. Results : In the Shogunjungtang-ga-younggol morea administrated groups, no gross lesions of ulcer and anatohistologically, just minor injury of gastric mucosa were detected. The number of parietal cells were significantly decreased, and the number of chief cells were significantly increased, in administrated groups. The number of gastrin-immunoreactive cells and somatostatin-immunoreactive cells was significantly increased in administrated groups. Conclusion : According to the results, it is considered that the administration of Shogunjungtang-ga-younggol morea seems to be applicable to the treatment of gastric ulcers.

Gitelman syndrome is a condition caused by a mutation of the thiazide sensitive Na-Cl cotransporter gene on the distal convoluted tubule. It results in a variety of clinical features, including hypokalemia, hypomagnesemia, hypocalciuria, and metabolic alkalosis. It is often diagnosed in asymptomatic adults presented with unexplained hypokalemia; however, it is sometimes associated with muscular cramps, numbness, fatigue, weakness, or paralysis. We experienced a case of rheumatoid arthritis accompanied by Gitelman syndrome, presented with hand tremor. We diagnosed her using renal clearance study and genetic analysis. Here, we report our experiences regarding this case along with a literature review.

Paraneoplastic nephrotic syndrome can be diagnosed from its clinical and immunological features. The development of several types of glomerular injury in patients with cancer have been recognized, and are considered as paraneoplastic syndrome. Most prominent are the occurrence of membranous glomerulonephritis in patients with carcinomas. We report a case of a 60-year-old-man with small cell lung cancer presenting as nephrotic syndrome. A renal biopsy revealed membranous glomerulonephritis. Six lots of chemotherapy were administered, which led to a complete tumor response with total resolution of the nephrotic syndrome following treatment.

A 10-year-old spayed female Yorkshire terrier dog with a history of pleural effusion and dyspnea for a week was referred to the Veterinary Teaching Hospital. Radiography revealed pulmonary edema and pleural effusion. A mass infiltrating the right atrial lumen and especially the supra-tricuspid valve was identified with echocardiography. The mass was diagnosed as intracardiac neoplasia. Symptomatic treatment was prescribed to alleviate the symptoms of heart failure. Despite symptomatic treatment, the patient died a few days later. After obtaining consent from the owner, necropsy and histopathological evaluation were performed. The result was consistent with cardiac leiomyoma, and the diagnosis was confirmed by immunohistochemical staining. To the authors' knowledge, this case is the first report of intracardiac leiomyoma in a dog in Korea.

The geometrical nonlinear vibrations of the gold nanoscale rod are investigated for the first time by considering the internal modals interactions using different nonlinear beam theories. This phenomenon is usually one of the important features of nonlinear vibration systems. For a more detailed analysis, the von-Karman effects, preserving all the nonlinear terms in the strain-displacement relationships of gold nanoscale rods in three displacement directions, are considered to analyze the nonlinear axial vibrations of gold nanoscale rods. It uses highly accurate analytical-numerical solutions for the clamped-clamped and clamped-free boundary conditions of nanoscale gold rods. Also, with the help of Hamilton's principle, the governing equation and boundary conditions are derived based on Eringen's theory. The influence of nonlinear and nonlocal factors on axial vibrations was investigated separately for all three theories: Simple (ST), Rayleigh (RT) and Bishop (BT). Using different theories, the effects of inertia and shear on the internal resonances of gold nanorods were studied and compared in terms of twoto-one and three-to-one internal resonances. As the nonlocal parameter of the gold nanorod increases, the maximum nonlinear amplitude occurs. So, by adding nonlocal effects in a gold nanorod, the internal modal interactions resulting from the unique structure can be enhanced. It is worth noting that shear and inertial analysis have a significant effect on internal modal interactions in gold nanorods.
