Frank Lloyd Wright, a master of the 20th Century Ar-chitecture, contributed tremendously in creating a wholly new form of American architecture called Prairie Style. His idea behind the development of the building structur-al system, organic relationships between inner and outer space, horizontal vertical lines, and idea of extending and expanding interior spaces came from nature. He had completed over 390 projects throughout his life and 90% of those projects were residential design. The most typical characteristic shared by many of his residential design was that each design element, whether it is functional or aesthetical, has close relationship to or-ganic nature, human scale, theoretical floor plants, and maximum emphasis on horizontal lines in respect to na-ture. His concept of "flow of spaces" reformed common the-ory of room next to room in a enclosed space. His sense of "wall" was no longer the side of a box. Careful selec-tion of finishing materials, colors, and natural images en-hance the design as well. F.L. Wright was an artist, designer, and architect who believed the exterior space should have direct relationship to the interior space. His architectural philosophy was not only to design exterior of architecture but also to ful-fill his space through the careful development of interior elements such as furniture, and lighting fixture. Even the patterns for leaded glass windows were designed to have unified appearance from outside to inside of the house. The objective of this study was to analyze floor plans, spatial organizations, and interior design elements of the houses which represent the best of F.L. Wright's design principles and philosophy behind Prairie Style. The meth-od used to collect informations for this study was based on books, articles, journals, and actual site visits. actual site visits.

In this paper, the result of study in artificial lighting uniformity ratio yield method subject to lecture room are reported. It is desirable that the application of equation ① U=Ei/Ex×100 cannot be used to the mean value in place to be effective of light and darkness. And it is desirable that the application of equation ② U=Ei/Ea×100 or equation ③ U=(Ea-Ei)/Ea×100 be used to the mean Value equality illumination conditions. Also, requiring preparation of judgement standard, uniformity ratio equation agree with actual circumstances in this country. It must be considered intensity of illumination and specificity of space in established standard.

LED 광원의 광학적 성능이 발전함에 따라 광원으로서의 광학효율이 기존 광원을 대체할 정도의 수준을 만족하고 있으며, 이에 의해 실내 조명광원으로서 활용도가 점차 증가하고 있다. 하지만, LED 광원의 경우 기존 광원과는 판이한 분광분포를 가지고 있으며, 소형 광원의 군집체로서 조명기구를 형성하기 때문에 이를 이용하는 사용자들에게 이전의 조명기구와는 크게 다른 느낌, 분위기 등을 가질 수가 있다. 본 연구에서는 기존광원과 LED 광원과의 차이점을 분석하고 이러한 차이점 즉, 분광분포 및 조명기구의 구성 형태 등에 따른 피험자들이 느끼는 색 편차, 조명 분위기의 변화 등을 평가 시험할 수 있는 실험실의 구성안을 제시하였다.

As the trend shows that corporate investment for staff's welfare facilities has increased alongside employee's enhanced economic and conscious level which has resulted from economic growth and industrialization this study aims at analyzing interior design elements in staff's welfare facilites especially in cafeteria and suggesting new directions for designing those spaces. The method and scope of this study in firstly to described general points such as function and role of public food service and interior design elements in staff's cafeteria and then to grasp and analyze the present conditions of the staff's cafeteria for enterprises and financial organizations which has been built after 1990. The conclusion of his study can be summarized as follows : First it is desirable to locate employee's cafeteria on upper or top floor which has relatively good atmosphere. Second it is recommended to make overall atmosphere of employee's cafeteria impressive and in commercial restaurant. Third the separation of service circulation serveries and eating area is necessary. Fourth material for each parts should be easy to maintain and durable. Fifth more illuminance that the regulation is recommended and lighting fixture should be selected in terms of economics and maintenance. Sixth selecting bright and warm colors with partial application of accent colors is effective. Seventh furniture should be harmonized with the ambience of the space and required to be convenient and durable. Eighth to provide visual and auditory pleasure during eating it is desirable to equip the minimal A/V system. In addition diverse aspects such as improving employee's welfare caring for company the way of treating employee an boosting corporate images should be considered when designing staff's cafeteria and interior designer should be able to satis managerial aspects productivity and effectiveness as well as pursuing functional aesthetic facts.

이번 논문의 주요 관점은 연가를 모티브로한 도자 투각 촛대 장식 도자제품을 중심으로 주거 실내 공간의 구성을 고려하여 살펴보고 이를 이용하여 개발된 연가 촛대로 실내 인테리어의 공간융합 활용에 대하여 연구하려고 한다. 산업의 발달로 주거선택도 쾌적하고 안락한 주거환경에 관심을 가지고 있기 때문에 자연을 집으로 끌어들이려는 심리가 작용한다. 그래서 이를 이용한 연가촛대 인테리어 소품은 바닥과 벽과 천장을 부드럽게 이어주는 역할을 기대한다. 연가형태는 조명기구의 아우라(aura)를 두루갖추고 있기 때문에 이를 통하여 연가의 디자인적요소를 연구하고 이러한 소스를 투각촛대에 적용하여 실내조명으로서의 활용도를 살펴본다. 또한 이를 도자제품으로 개발하여 생활속의 필요한 실내공간인테리어 소품으로 적극 활용하는 것도 주요 관점이다.

This paper describes the visual adaptation in the transition zone in the iterior of museum. Peoples can feel the interior of exhibition room brighter than it is through two-stage adaptation of visual system, which enables comfortable viewing under somewhat low illuminance level. It is recommended using low-reflectance materials on the front wall of the museum, and providing sufficient tranzition zones in front of the exhibition room and in intermediate spaces between rooms.

Currently, we usually do our activities inside of the buildings, so we don't often get enough of the direct sunlight, which could cause health problems. There was a recent move to solve this issue by adding a courtyard to new constructions. This research's goals are to determine how much of rays of the sun get into the building, if the natural lighting could be used as a light for the interior. With these, we may see the outcomes of mental revitalization for the people and reduces the consumption of the energy. Also, we try to analyze the temperature and the humidity of the inside, depends on the shape of the courthouse.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the varying characteristic factors for residential kitchen remodeling according to contemporary life style. The subjects of this investigation are collected through questionnaire from adult residents who live in Seoul, Korea. The collected cases are analyzed by using Spss-win. By using the vaimax method on the basis of factor analysis, the satisfaction of the actual conditions is under the influence of finished materials & function, sanitary installation, layout, cooling & heating apparatus, day lighting, air conditioning, and safety. The preference of kitchen remodeling Is affected by finished materials, function, environmental equipment, and air conditioning. The Need of kitchen facility is caused by working table, refrigerator, gas range, dish apparatus, and addition function.

This study started from the premise that the satisfaction of visitors in large-scaled design-related fair has co-relation with the environmental and contextual factors such as contents, lighting, the number and location of rest area, crowdedness, ventilation and circulation. The research was made in Seoul Living Design Fair 2006. 109 samples from 138 who answered to the questionnaire with likert-scaled and open questions were selected for the data, which were statistically analyzed through SPSS 12.0 program to explore the co-relation between the environmental factors and the satisfaction level of visitors. The findings showed that overall satisfaction level was In the middle of the scale, which means satisfied nor unsatisfied. Even though the visitors had difficulties In circulation and showed various types in circulation. It can be concluded that the main factors should be considered to achieve higher satisfaction level and provide better environment in the large-scaled fair.

The purpose of this study was to examine the current office work environment and suggest the needs for improvement the quality and efficiency of work. To fulfill this task, information describing various environmental conditions was gathered from generally large offices in Pusan and Major cities in Kyoungnam. Data were collected on questionnaire's general information, lighting, air quality, temperature, health problems, noise and equipment arrangements, and the size fo workspace. The extent to which the attitudes and behaviors of workers were related to these environmental conditions was then examined and scrutinized. According to the development of office automation, the interest in improvement of office environment become increased. Workstation size, individual environmental control, health care, adequate storage space and noise control should be recognized as critical to the worker's environmental satisfactiov. Finally, based on the results of this study, a number ofrecommendations can be made for alleviating some of the problems that have been identified. Designers should be interested in knowing if their environments actually function in the manner in which they were intended.
