대학병원 병동간호사의 노인섬망 간호수행에 영향을 미치는 요인 (Factors Influencing the Nursing Performance of Delirium in Elderly Patients among Ward Nurses at a University Hospital)

  • Purpose: This research aims to identify the relationship between the knowledge of delirium in elderly patients, nursing stress of delirium in elderly patients, emotional intelligence, and nursing performance of delirium in elderly patients among word nurses at a university hospital. Method: Data were collected from September 28 to October 13, 2020, by distributing questionnaires to 185 ward nurses at a university hospital located in city D. A data analysis was performed using descriptive statistics, a t-test, one-way ANOVA, and Pearson correlation coefficients, and a multiple regression analysis. Results: Nursing performance of delirium in elderly patients showed statistically significant differences according to nursing experience with these patients. Nurses' knowledge of delirium in elderly patients had a statistically significant positive correlation with emotional intelligence and nursing performance of delirium in elderly patients. Also, nurses' emotional intelligence had a statistically positive correlation with nursing performance of delirium in elderly patients. The factors that significantly affected nursing performance delirium in elderly patients were emotional intelligence and knowledge of delirium in elderly patients. The total explanatory power of the regression model was 12.5%. Conclusion: For nursing performance of delirium in elderly patients by ward nurses, it is necessary to develop a geriatric delirium nursing education program that can improve the knowledge of delirium in elderly patients. In addition, guidelines in consideration of the emotional intelligence of nurses should be included in the development of educational programs.

집단지성 기반 학습자료 북마킹 서비스 시스템 (Learning Material Bookmarking Service based on Collective Intelligence)

  • 최근 IT 환경의 변화에 따라 웹 서비스를 기반으로 대규모 사용자 대상의 상호 참여적인 MOOC(Massive Open Online Courses)과 같은 온라인 교육 환경이 부상하고 있다. 그러나 온라인 교육 시스템은 원거리로 학습이 이루어짐에 따라 학습자의 자발적 동기를 꾸준히 유지하기 어려우며, 또한 학습자 간에 지식을 공유하고 공유한 지식을 활용하는 기능이 부족하다. 이러한 문제를 극복하기 위해 구성주의적 학습이론과 집단지성에 기반하여 학습자가 보유한 학습자료를 공유하고 개인화된 학습자료 추천을 받을 수 있는 학습자료 북마킹 서비스인 WeStudy를 구현하였다. 위키피디아(Wikipedia), 슬라이드쉐어 (SlideShare), 비디오렉쳐스 (VideoLectures) 등 현존하는 집단지성 기반 서비스들의 주요 기능으로부터 필요한 집단지성 기능들을 검토하였으며, 본 서비스의 주요 기능으로 1) 리스트 및 그래프 형태의 학습자료 리스트 시각화, 2) 개인화된 학습자료 추천, 3) 보다 상세한 학습자료 추천을 위한 관심 학습자 지정 등을 도출하여 시스템을 설계하였다. 이후, 웹 기반으로 구현된 세 가지 주요기능 별로 개량된 휴리스틱 사용성 평가 방법을 통해 개발된 시스템의 사용성 평가를 실시하였다. 10명의 HCI 분야 전공자 및 현업 종사자를 대상으로 정량적 및 정성적인 평가 결과, 세 가지의 주요 기능에서 전반적으로 사용성이 우수한 것으로 판정되었다. 주요 기능 별 정성적인 평가에서 도출된 여러 마이너 이슈들을 반영할 필요가 있으며, 향후 대규모 사용자를 대상으로 본 서비스를 보급하고 이용할 수 있도록 제공하여 자발적인 지식 공유 환경을 조성할 수 있을 것으로 전망된다.

Influence of Lecturers' Psychological Factors, media Improvisation on Media Resources Utilization in Colleges of Education, Nigeria

  • Media utilization in colleges of education in Nigeria is compulsory to train pre-service teachers. Psychological variables (emotional intelligence, and self-efficacy) and media improvisation were investigated on media resources utilization among lecturers in colleges of education in the South-West, Nigeria. The descriptive design was adopted and multi-staged procedure was used to select 812 (493 males; 319 females). Emotional intelligence (r = 0.79), media improvisation (r = 0.71), self-efficacy (r = 0.85 and media resources utilization r = 0.96) scales were used for data collection. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and Pearson product moment at 0.05 level of significance. The level of emotional intelligence, self-efficacy and media improvisation were high. Significant relationship existed among: emotional intelligence (r = 0.42), Media improvisation (r = 0.46) and Teaching self-efficacy (r = 0.31) to media resources utilization. It recommended that lecturers' emotional intelligence, self-efficacy and media improvisation are to be promoted in colleges of education.

  • An intelligent system embedded with multiple sources of knowledge may provide more robust intelligence with highly ill structured problems than the system with a single source of knowledge. This paper proposes the hybrid knowledge integration mechanism that yields the cooperated knowledge by integrating expert, user, and machine knowledge within the fuzzy logic-driven framework, and then refines it with a genetic algorithm (GA) to enhance the reasoning performance. The proposed knowledge integration mechanism is applied for the prediction of Korea stock price index (KOSPI). Empirical results show that the proposed mechanism can make an intelligent system with the more adaptable and robust intelligence.

Common and Domain-Specific Cognitive Characteristics of Gifted Students: A Hierarchical Structural Model of Human Abilities

  • The purpose of this study was to identify common and domain-specific cognitive characteristics of gifted students based on a hierarchical structural model of human abilities. This study is based on the premise that abilities identified by tests can appear as observable characteristics in test or school situations. Abilities proposed by major models of intelligence were reviewed in terms of their power to explain cognitive characteristics of gifted students. However, due to the lack of their explanatory power and disagreement on common and domain-specific cognitive abilities, a new hierarchical structural model was conceptualized in a unique way based on interrelationships between abilities proposed by the models. The newly established model hypothesizes a cognitive mechanism that accounts for how domain-specific knowledge is formed, as well as which abilities are common and domain-specific, how they are related functionally, and how they account for common and domain-specific cognitive characteristics of gifted students. The cognitive mechanism has important implications for our understanding of the chronically controversial concepts, 'intelligence' and 'knowledge.' Clearer definitions of what intelligence is (g or multiple), what knowledge is, and how knowledge develops ('genetic or environmental,' 'rationalistic or empiricist') may result from this model.

워크플로우 협력네트워크 지식 발견 알고리즘 (A Workflow-based Affiliation Network Knowledge Discovery Algorithm)

  • 본 논문에서는 워크플로우 협력네트워크 지식의 발견 알고리즘을 제안한다. 즉, 워크플로우 인텔리전스 (또는 비즈니스 프로세스 인텔리전스) 기술은 워크플로우 모델들과 그의 실행이력으로부터 일련의 지식을 발견, 분석, 모니터링 및 제어, 그리고 예측하는 세부기법들로 구성되는데, 본 논문에서는 워크플로우 모델을 구성하는 액티버티들과 그들의 수행자들간의 협력네트워크 지식을 "워크 플로우 협력네크워크 지식"라고 정의하고, 그의 발견기법인 정보제어넷(ICN, information control net)기반 워크플로우 협력네트워크 지식 발견 알고리즘을 제안한다. 특히, 제안한 알고리즘의 적용 사례를 통해 특정 워크플로우 모델로부터 해당 워크플로우 협력네트워크 지식을 성공적으로 생성할 수 있음을 증명함으로써 본 논문에서 제안한 알고리즘의 정확성 및 적합성을 검증한다.

대학수학능력시험 외국어(영어)영역에 영향을 미치는 요인들 (Factors influencing English test scores in the College Scholastic Ability Test)

  • As an attempt to characterize the English test section of CSAT (College Scholastic Ability Test) and to get some suggestions, this study raised the research questions, as 'What are the main factors that affect students' English test scores in CSAT, and how big influences do they have?' It has been hypothesized that among main factors are the L1 competence, represented by the Korean test scores in CSAT, background knowledge or intelligence, represented by the "total" scores in CSAT, and the two types of L2 knowledge (vocabulary and grammar on one hand and prosody m the other hand), measured by the test devised specially for this study. The individual effect of the L2 vocabulary and grammar (one kind of L2 knowledge) was 70%, that of background knowledge or intelligence 61%, that of the L1 competence 50%, and that of the L2 prosody knowledge (the other kind of L2 knowledge) 32%. According to the stepwise regression, the whole effect of these four factors was 74%. The findings suggest that first, although CSAT is based on the top-down model of comprehension, the bottom-up model of learning should be more emphasized in our English class. Also, since background knowledge or intelligence is the second most influential factor, the top-down model of learning that helps students learn to understand by activating their various schemata must also be very effective.

  • It is highly for the research in artificial intelligence area to be able to manage knowledge as human beings do. One of the fantastic natures that human knowledge management systems have is being active. Human beings actively manage their knowledge, solve conflicts and make inference. It makes a major difference from artificial intelligent systems. This paper focuses on the discussion of the features of that human knowledge systems, which underlies the active nature. With the features extracted, further research can be done to construct a suitable infrastructure to facilitate these features to build a man-made active knowledge management system. This paper proposed 10 features that human beings follow to maintain their knowledge. We believe it will advance the evolution of active knowledge management systems by realizing these features with suitable knowledge representation/decision models and software agent technology.

SW중심대학의 인공지능 교육과정 현황분석 (Analysis of Artificial Intelligence Curriculum of SW Universities)

  • 인공지능에 대한 관심은 기업이나 조직, 일상과 사회에 미치는 영향력의 증가에 기인한다. 이에 본 연구는 인재양성의 관점에서 Computer Science 2013의 지능형 시스템 영역을 기반으로 SW중심대학의 인공지능 관련 과목의 교수요목에 나타난 핵심요소를 분석하기 위한 목적이 있다. 분석 결과, 필수 과목을 운영하는 대학은 9개 대학 중 5개이다. 지능형 시스템의 12개 세부 지식영역을 기준으로 대학의 필수과목은 기본 검색이론, 기본 지식 표현 및 추론, 불확실성에 기반한 추론 영역에 분포되어 있다. 각 대학의 선택과목은 지능형 시스템 전체 지식영역 중 5~8개의 영역에 주제를 다루고 있었으며, 교수요목의 주제가 포함된 영역 평균 비율이 가장 높은 대학은 69.9%, 가장 낮은 대학은 46.3%이다. 본 연구는 인공지능 대학원의 진학 이전에 학부 수준에서 인공지능 관련 지식의 수준을 파악할 수 있었다는 점에 시사점이 있다.
