  • 본 논문에서는 변환 학습을 기반으로 한 다중 클래스 이미지 장면 분류 방법을 제안하도록 한다. ImageNet 대형 이미지 데이터 세트에서 사전 훈련 된 네트워크 모델을 사용하여 다중 클래스의 자연 장면 이미지를 분류하였다. 실험에서 최적화 된 ResNet 모델은 Kaggle의 Intel Image Classification 데이터 세트에 분류되어 우수한 결과를 얻었다.

  • 본 논문은 성능 카운터를 이용하여 Intel XScale 마이크로아키텍쳐 기반의 Marvell PXA320 프로세서에 대한 성능 모니터링을 구현하였다. Windows CE 운영체제 환경의 응용프로그램에 대하여 DVFS 구성에 따른 각각의 벤치마크를 측정하였고, 성능 이벤트에 따른 성능 카운터 값을 측정 하였다. 성능 모니터링으로 측정된 데이터를 기반으로 DVFS 기법을 위한 스케줄링이 가능하다.

  • In this paper, 3D input and output systems for a web-based real-time 3D video communication system using IEEE 1394 digital cameras, Intel Xeon Server system and Microsoft Directshow library is proposed. And some conditions for optimizing the operations of the stereo camera, 3D display and signal processing system are analyzed. Input & output systems are carefully selected, which can satisfy the required optimization conditions and the final 3D video communication system is implemented by using three optimized devices. The overall control system is developed with Microsoft Visual C++.Net and Microsoft DirectX 9.1 SDK. Some experimental results show that the observer can feel the natural presence from multi-view(4-view) 3D video of server system in real-time and also can feel the natural presence from 3D video of client system and finally suggest an application possibility of the proposed web-based real-time 3D video communication in real fields.

  • A micro embedded did the task to be simply the sequent at the past. The necessity of an embedded operating system did not exist in the reason. We satisfy the complication of the system and operating system have been desired for the officer of the process. The necessity of the process of real-time processing increased also with fast response time to users, The porting follows and have been composed of an real-time embedded operating system. We can control the control unit with the sensor to be established in the building, An embedded web sever to use the resource of the at least is appering a networking facility of interaction. In this paper, The web sever to be implemented in a purity software. We draw data for the thing to implement overall demo to the remote through Internet and We put the point even though we organized the frame to control this. we have successfully ported linux on an embedded system, which is based on intel StrongARM SA-1110 processor, then written several network modules of ethernet-based network device.

  • This paper discusses performance bottlenecks that may occur when executing high-performance computing MPI applications in the Intel's next generation many-core processor called Knights Landing(KNL), as well as effective resource allocation techniques to solve this problem. KNL is composed of a host processor to enable self-booting in addition to an existing accelerator consisting of a many-core processor, and it was released with a new type of on-package memory with improved bandwidth on top of existing DDR4 based memory. We empirically verified an improvement of the execution performance of multiple MPI applications and the overall system utilization ratio by studying a resource allocation method optimized for such new many-core processor architectures.

  • The emerging next-generation manycore processors for high-performance computing are equipped with a high-bandwidth on-package memory along with the traditional host memory. The Multi-Channel DRAM (MCDRAM), for example, is the on-package memory of the Intel Xeon Phi Knights Landing (KNL) processor, and theoretically provides a four-times-higher bandwidth than the conventional DDR4 memory. In this paper, we suggest a mechanism to exploit MCDRAM for improving the performance of MPI intra-node communication. The experiment results show that the MPI intra-node communication performance can be improved by up to 272 % compared with the case where the DDR4 is utilized. Moreover, we analyze not only the performance impact of different MCDRAM-utilization mechanisms, but also that of core affinity for processes.

  • In mobile systems, energy efficiency is critical to extend battery life. Therefore, power consumption should be taken into account to develop software in addition to performance, Efficient software design in power and performance is possible if accurate power prediction is accomplished during the execution of software, In this paper, power estimation model is developed using statistical analysis, The proposed model analyzes processor behavior Quantitatively using the data of performance monitoring events and power consumption collected by executing various benchmark programs, And then representative hardware events on power consumption are selected using hierarchical clustering, The power prediction model is established by regression analysis in which the selected events are independent variables and power is a response variable, The proposed model is applied to a PXA320 mobile processor based on Intel XScale architecture and shows average estimation error within 4% of the actual measured power consumption of the processor.

  • In this study, to investigate an optimal configuration method for the modeling system, we performed an optimization experiment by controlling the types of compilers and libraries, and the number of CPU cores because it was important to provide reliable model data very quickly for the national air quality forecast. We were made up the optimization experiment of twelve according to compilers (PGI and Intel), MPIs (mvapich-2.0, mvapich-2.2, and mpich-3.2) and NetCDF (NetCDF-3.6.3 and NetCDF-4.1.3) and performed wall clock time measurement for the WRF and CMAQ models based on the built computing resources. In the result of the experiment according to the compiler and library type, the performance of the WRF (30 min 30 s) and CMAQ (47 min 22 s) was best when the combination of Intel complier, mavapich-2.0, and NetCDF-3.6.3 was applied. Additionally, in a result of optimization by the number of CPU cores, the WRF model was best performed with 140 cores (five calculation servers), and the CMAQ model with 120 cores (five calculation servers). While the WRF model demonstrated obvious differences depending on the number of CPU cores rather than the types of compilers and libraries, CMAQ model demonstrated the biggest differences on the combination of compilers and libraries.

  • Most network equipment is an embedded system designed to execute specific function. An embedded system is an electronic control system mixing hardware and software to execute only fixed function for the purpose of system, not confuter, performing diverse function for a wide use. Early embedded system executed only simple function, combining specific function with optimization, a micro size, and low power, but it has developed to meet complex and diverse system. The purpose of this study is to realize DHCP server based on embedded system. To achieve this, embedded Linux was ported in ez Bord-M01 mounted with Intel Strong ARM SA1110 processor, and ethernet-based network was constructed for network function. In this way, this study suggests embedded DHCP server where Window and Linux client hosts are dynamically configurated as network information by dynamically assigning network information in embedded board.

  • The complicated embedded system for multi-tasking requires RTOS(real-time operating system). It uses the optimal OS and processor to each embedded system on the heterogeneous development environment. This paper is proposed to use UML profile of OS API and Processor Configuration, instead of cross-compiling for developing the heterogeneous embedded system. This reduces the development time and cost through generating the automatic source code with the profile information of each embedded system. We generate and port the code after modeling the two heterogeneous real time operating systems (brickOS and uC/OS-II) and the processors (Hitachi H8 and Intel PXA255) with our proposed profile of the heterogeneous embedded system.
