펠티어 소자를 사용한 Low Drift Flux Meter의 기초연구 (A Basic Study on the Low Drift Flux Meter by Using a Peltier Device)

  • Fluxmeter is a measuring instrument the magnetic flux intensity by means of an integration of the voltage induced to a search coil to unit time. It also is required to a precise integrator since the voltage induced to a search coil has a differential value of the flux ${\Phi}$ to unit time. In this study, a bias current which is a main problem of the integrator in a drift troublesome depending on the temperature of a FET is investigated. We have confirmed that the temperature dependence of both the bias current of a integrator using the FET and the reversal saturated current of the minor carrier in a P-N junction of a semiconductor were the same. The property of a commercial integrator goes rapidly down with increasing temperature. The bias current of a FET is increased twice as much with 10$^{\circ}C$ increment. As a result, the low drift integrator could be developed by setting the lower temperature up with a pottier device.

선형 캐스코드 전류모드 적분기 (Linear cascode current-mode integrator)

  • 연속시간 전류모드 기저대역 채널선택 필터 설계를 위하여 전류이득과 단위이득 주파수를 개선시킨 저전압 선형 캐스코드 전류모드 적분기를 제안하였다. 제안된 전류모드 적분기는 CMOS 상보형 회로로 구성된 완전 차동 형태의 입 출력단으로 구성하였으며, 여기에 캐스코드 트랜지스터를 추가시킴으로써 바이어스 단을 구성하여 선형영역에서 동작시켜 저전압 구조에 적합하도록 설계하였다. 이 때 바이어스 전압을 선택적으로 제어하여 주파수 대역이 가변될 수 있도록 설계하였다. 시뮬레이션 결과를 통해 설계한 선형 캐스코드 전류모드 적분기가 저전압 동작, 전류 이득 및 단위이득 주파수 등 모두 만족할 만한 특성을 가지고 있음을 확인하였다.

웹 기반 통합 설계 환경 구축에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Web-based Integrated Environment for Design Systems)

  • This paper presents the method that allows easy and rapid integration of legacy resources within the company and between departments. The proposed system can easily construct a distributed environment for collaborative design between departments in the companies. It supports knowledge-based integration system, which allows designers to develop product with deep knowledge about product design. For the purpose, DOME (Distributed Object-based Modeling Environment)-which has been developed through various studies-was used in this paper. To overcome its problems and insufficiency, the Web-Integrator is proposed. The Web-Integrator is very suitable for an Internet environment because it uses HTTP (Hyper Text Transfer Protocol) and XML (extensible Markup Language) as its main communication method. By supporting the remote object access via URL (Uniform Resource Locator), the implementation of the integrated system makes the Web-Integrator systematic and intuitive. All the functions and resources provided by DOME could be used with the interface that enables bi-directional communication with the DOME system. Web-Integrator provides full web-based environments for the general designers, who do not have a full design knowledge and experience, and the proposed system allows design operations to happen at any place and anytime. Also it provides XML-RPC(Remote Procedure Call) based web service framework, which allows other systems to use easily the service that the DOME system supplies regardless the location and the platform.

CMOS DDA와 DDA 차동 적분기의 설계 (The Design of CMOS DDA and DDA differential integrator)

  • 새로운 능동 소자인 DDA와 이를 이용한 차동적분기를 설계하였다. DDA는 기존의 OP-AMP로 구성된 응용 회로의 설계시 외부 소자의 정합 문제를 개선할 수 있다는 장점을 갖는다. DDA의 설계는 트랜스컨덕턴스 소자인 differential pair를 이용하여 $2{\mu}m$ 설계 규칙에 맞게 하였다. 이 DDA의 성능을 평가하기 위하여 전압 인버터와 레벨 쉬프터로 구성하여 특성을 고찰한 결과 우수함을 입증하였다. 그리고 CMOS DDA를 이용하여 접지 저항의 모의와 차동적분기를 설계하였고, DDA 차동적분기의 특성이 OP-AMP 차동적분기의 특성을 일치함을 알 수 있었다. 또한 설계된 CMOS DDA와 DDA 차동적분기를 MOSIS $2{\mu}m$ CMOS 공정 기술을 적용하여 layout 하였다.

  • The rotor position of a PM synchronous motor is commonly estimated from the mathematical model for the sensorless control without rotor position sensors. For the magnet flux-based rotor position estimator in the stationary reference frame, the magnet flux estimator for estimating rotor position and speed includes the integrator. The integrator in the magnet flux estimator may accumulate the offset of the current sensors and the voltage drift. This continuous accumulation of the offset may cause the drift and overflow in the integrator, such that the estimated rotor position and speed may fail to track the real rotor position and speed. In this paper, the magnet flux estimator without integrator is proposed to avoid overflow in the integrator. The proposed rotor position and speed estimator based on magnet flux estimator are verified through simulation and experiment.

  • This paper is concerned with the analysis of elasto-plastic stress waves in a mode I semi-infinite cracked solid subjected to Heaviside pulse load. This study adopts a time-discontinuous variational integrator based on Hamiltonian in order to reduce the numerical dispersive and dissipative errors. This also utilizes an integration scheme of the constitutive model with 2nd-order accuracy which is formulated on the strain space for a rate and temperature dependent material model. Finite element analyses of elasto-plastic stress waves are carried out in order to compare the accuracy between a conventional Galerkin method and the time- discontinuous variational integrator.

  • This paper treats with the design method for the single loop oversampled Sigma-Delta A/D converter with one delay and the digital integrator. Such an integrator was kgenerated by means of the bilinear transform of the analog integrator. The frequency spectrums of the quantizer and the decimator output signal are evaluated by FFT respectively. With the performance evaluation system, the values of SNR are obtained versus the input sinusoidal signal amplitude, frequency, the oversampling ratio, the DC-input level, the loop gain and the limitting value of the integrator. As compared with existing results, values of SNR versus the input signal amplitude and the oversampling ratio for the suggested system are about 6dB higher then previously reported results respectively. Furthermore, this approach achieves an about 60dB input dynamic range.

A 3V-30MHz Analog CMOS Current-Mode Digitally Bandwidth Programmable Integrator

  • A design methodology of the analog current-mode and width programmable integrator for a low voltage (3V) and low power application is developed and the integrator designed by this method is successfully fabricated by the 0.8$\mu\textrm{m}$ CMOS n-well single poly/double metal standard digital process. The integrator occupies the active chip area of 0.3$\textrm{mm}^2$. The experimental result illustrates a low power dissipation (1.0mW∼3.55 mW), 65dB of the dynamic range, and digitally and width programmability (10MHz∼30MHz) with an external digital 4 bit.

Drift Self-compensating Type Flux-meter for Automatic Magnetic Flux Measurement

  • In magnetic flux measurement, output voltage drift of electronic integrator is an essential problem. In this work, we have developed a new kind of Miller type integrator using a sample and hold amplifier. Input bias current was measured and this value was hold in the sample and hold amplifier, after that input bias current of Miller integrator was compensated automatically using the value which holds in the sample and hold amplifier. Developed flux-meter shows the drift of flux-meter are smaller than 10$^{-5}$ Wb/min in full scale of 10$^{-2}$, and we could also measure multi-channel magnetic flux simultaneously.

PI속도제어기에서의 새로운 적분누적 방지기법 (New Anti-windup Strategy for PI-type Speed Controller)

  • This paper proposes a new anti-windup strategy to suppress integrator windup for PI speed controller and to be implemented on the existing system with minimal modification. When the speed control mode is changed from P controller to PI controller. an appropriate initial value for integrator is assigned. This value restricts overshoot and high settling time. Also, the proposed method guarantees the designed performance independent on operating conditions, i.e. different set-point change and load torque. Simulation and experimental results for PMSM speed controller have shown its superior performance compared with the conditional integration and tracking back calculation.
