Mathematical creativity, an important goal in mathematics education, can be promoted through an integrated learning environment where students explore mathematics with other subject areas such as science, technology, engineering and art. Establishing such learning environments is not a trivial task. Therefore, this creates a need for the development of instructional resources promoting meaningful integration. This paper focuses on integration of the fields of mathematics and music. Beginning with some of the historical discoveries and views of the connections between mathematics and music, this paper attends to several musical concepts correlating to middle school mathematical content and then provides ideas for teaching.

This study suggests a new paradigm of fashion merchandising as an environmental change of the fashion industry. The study has the pattern of a literature study and it is analyzed through journals, professional books, fashion magazines, and newspapers. Examined are the environmental changes of the fashion industry, the condition, and problems of the merchandising process that is executed currently, as well as an examination of the concept of fashion merchandising, Concepts and changes for new fashion merchandising strategies are suggested that are helpful for academics and fashion companies. This paper defines the concept of new fashion merchandising as the integrated management activity of planning, development, and selling fashion products to create a profit for the company with the satisfaction of the target customers. This study proposes the pursuance of integrated merchandising, the change of product planning and product development, and the strengthening of store-centered retail merchandising in order to change the direction of fashion merchandising.

This paper presents the development of a simulator for an industrial robot. The simulator is characterized by a fully integrated dynamic model and a hardware oriented control scheme. The dynamic model includes the actuator dynamics as well as the manipulator dynamics to integrate the entire dynamics of the robot system. On the other hand, the control scheme is oriented as a hardware structure which is usually implemented in the industrial robot. That is to say, a conventional PI control law is used to regulate the position, the speed, and the current. A Pulse Wave Modulation (PWM)generator modulates the supplied voltage to the actuator. Since the simulator is consistent with the industrial robot system, it provides the essential design concepts for the development process of the robot. In practice, the simulator is applied to the SCARA robot which has been developed in GSIS. Here, it investigates the characteristics and performance of the robot with changing design parameters. Thus, the investigation furnishes criteria for the selection of acfuator, control gain, trajectory planning, etc.

STEAM education is a topic-based curriculum to integrate the concepts into other subjects such as science, technology, engineering, art and mathematics in order to improve the students' interesting, understanding, integrated thinking and problem solving ability. In this paper, we designed STEAM curriculum in the form of Project-based Learning and developed the material for elementary students. We also developed the android-based application through searching for a utilization of IT simulation for enhancement the students' Project-based Learning effect.

This paper presents database technique for an computer-integrated structural design system of buildings. Network database designed to support all the processes of structural design, such as, planning, modelling, analysis, member design and redesign processes etc. stores all information from user input and system results effectively and so provides centeral communication area between applications. The user interface wi th interactive and batch modes plays roles of building modeler including conventional pre-processor and post-processor. The concepts of 'Planar Surface Modeling' and 'Geometry Zoning' are defined for easy construction of building model. The concept presented in this paper will save the time and memory required for model generation and contribute to data consistency, thus leave a designer more time actually performing the analyses and interpreting the results. The formulation of automating the process of bulilding model ins and structural analysis is the key to study.

In order to pursue the traces of truth, boundaries set by man for convenience were crossed or Integrated leading to the discovery of new paradigms. Such phenomena including collaboration, convergence, crossover and etc. are expressed in various forms across the society and culture. In particular, development of digital technology is moving away from its previous color based on scientific, statistical and quantitative perspective by using diverse variables. Also, as the borderlines of genres become increasingly more ambiguous, various concepts of color blending developed rapidly. Thus These chaosmos-like color blending have created new contents. This research aims to understand the principle of color blending in Karim Rashid's work, which advocates the world of design in diverse fields from industrial products to architecture. The principle of color blending such as information change, source color and destination color, interaction, and etc. makes it possible to extract the expressed element and method of color blending. Meanwhile, the features of color blending such as integrated space and time, vague form, and narrative genre can be inferred from case analysis.

Agricultural facilities can be designed by conceptual preliminary primary and detailed design stages. because each stage has a different objective, it must be applied to dissimilar design and analysis level. Engineers have to judge from evaluation that is estimated agricultural resources in the conceptual design stage. Methods of computer aided design are achieved to individual functions however it is inefficient to perform entire processes of design and hard to systematically accumulate results o design. Study on the integrated structural design system has been continued. but those system have adopted “closed architecture”which is known to inflexible method for developing applications. In this study the design platform is an environment that can support to integrated design system independently and an design platform is proposed by analyzing design processes using object oriented method. The concepts of software platform have resulted from several practical ideas, OOA/OOP and related some points. This paper aims at developing the software platform of a software environment to support the design phases of the agricultural facilities.

In this article, we present some derived subjects from the concept of ICT-based DPD concept for the safety of folk villages in both Korea and Japan. First, our deduced topic would rather be a monitoring system design of structures in folk villages. We, therefore, offer an integrated model of maintenance and management monitoring scheme. As another research subject, we submit safety sign or sign system installed in traditional towns and their standardization. We have draw up a plan to make signs upgrade applied to folk villages in Korea and Japan. According to our investigations, we should suggest and focus on flood in the area of traditional town in Korea. We present a water-level expectation model using deep learning simulation. We have applied this method to the area of 'Andong Hahoe' village which had been registered on World Cultural Heritage of UNESCO. The final goal of our research is to propose and realize an integrated disaster prevention and/or safety system based on big data concepts for both Korea and Japan.

Finite element analysis is very important in the design and analysis of mechanical engineering. The process of FEA encompasses shape modeling, mesh generation, matrix solving and post-processing. Some of these processes can be tightly integrated with the current software architectures and data sharing mode. However, complete integration of all the FEA process itself and the integration to the manufacturing processes is almost impossible in the current practice. The barriers to this problem are inconsistent data format and the enterprise-wise software integration technology. In this research, the information model based on STEP AP209 was chosen for handling finite element analysis data. The international standard for the FEA data can bridge the gap between design, analysis and manufacturing processes. The STEP-based FEA system can be further tightly integrated to the distributed software and database environment using CORBA technology. The prototype FEA system DICESS is implemented to verify the proposed concepts.

Regarding the dangers to soil, water and air, which come from current agricultural application measures for nitrogen, a sectoral approach for a non-polluting liquid manure utilization cannot be used any longer. Slurry was not any longer considered as a tiresome waste produced of animal husbandry, but as a valuable fertilizer. The goal of the largest possible utilization of slurry on the farm was and still is in the foreground, An Integrated system approach has to be found. leading to a drastic improvement of nutrient utilization and hence to a considerably reduced nutrient use. This can only be expected, if the organic manure can be applicated at times, when losses through leaching and volatilization can be minimized. The necessary investments for such concepts can clearly be reduced through cooperation.
