Development and Verification of User-centered Design Guidelines on Online Support System for Curriculum at primary/secondary schools (초·중등 교육과정 온라인지원시스템의 사용자 중심의 디자인 가이드라인 개발 및 검증)

  • The purpose of this study is to develop a design guideline to provide user-friendly experience and convenience for the online support system for the curriculum at primary/secondary schools. To achieve the objective, best practices of overseas on the online support system for curriculum as well as prior research were analyzed. In addition, UX/UI usability problems and needs were derived through a survey of 74 professionals and teachers who are monitoring NCIC and high school credit system sites. Based on the analysis of best practices of overseas and survey results, the draft of the design guideline was derived, and Delphi method was conducted by experts to re- vise the design guidelines and evaluate their validity. This study is meaningful in that it suggests the direction of improvement of the system currently being serviced and the direction of the design of the system to be developed in the future, by providing design guidelines that can be generally applied to online support systems that perform tasks related to the curriculum.

  • 'No-Automobile driving Day' is one of Special option of Automobile Insurance in Republic of Korea. It option is used a system for collect to automobile driving information. However, Its system gives discomfort to users of this system. A Discomfort of this system to users is the OBD device's(Personal Car Driving Check Device) installation. A frequent installation of this device provides this OBD device's breakage to the users of this system. In this paper, for a solve this problem, studied new system design to supplement the existing system using Smartphone and WPAN(Wireless Personal Area Network).

  • Current Internet system of the entrance exam information to the university that is depending on searching key to solve the overloaded p개blem in the network and DB server or other tools to support HTML edit, haven't satisfied user's wants by supplying uniformed searching system. So this thesis will establish EEIS(Entrance Examination Information System) to prevent database overload phenomena when many users request a great amount of data at the same time and improve the decrease of speed and overload problem in DB server. EEIS play a role of bridge between outside client and DB server by placing VVS(Virtual View Server) between web server and DB server. By that method this system give users several usefulness in convenience and variety by supplying realtime data searching function to user EEIS also give inner system manager more efficiency and speed in control the management system by solving those problem. This system is design and implementation to satisfy user's desire and give them more convenience and bring up the confidence of university that adopt this system at the end.

  • A communication-aid circuit to detect eye-gazed patterns is proposed in this paper. The circuit is an analog-digital mixed system. By determining the direction of eye-gazed pattern, the circuit detects an eye-gazed pattern from 2-dimensional arrayed patterns on a syllabary. Different from conventional systems, the syllabary is moved to overlap the eye-gazed pattern with the center coordinate of screen. Thus, the proposed circuit can avoid a complex calculation of the distance between the eye-gazed point and the center coordinate. Furthermore: an economical size of hardware can be provided since no full-adders are required by employing floating-gate MOSFBT's. The validity of the cricuit design is confirmed by computer simulations. Furthermore, to implement onto an IC chip, the layout design is performed by using a CAD tool, MAGIC.

  • The CMIP(Common Management Information Protocol) and SNMP(Simple Network Management Network) are the two major network management protocols, Which nee to be integrated. Since the networks need to be managed in a uniform way, the CORBA(Common Object Request Broker Architecture) NE View is to develop as a Standard in the ATM Forum For the TMN management structure to integrate these two protocols. In this paper, the function classes are defined to develop the gateway for efficient subnetwork management. The function classes are defined based on the analysis of EMS functions which are mainly network management design of the TMN structure. Also, the object models of the SMI)(Structure of Management Information) in SNMP and the GDMO(Guidelines for the Definition of Managed Objects) in CMIP are developed way direct translation and abstract translation. The integrated management system design, information model translation of EMS using classdefinition, is efficient is efficient method to interconnect CORBA/SNMP and CORBA/CMIP.

  • In this paper, we propose parallel Viterbi decoders applied to UWB(Ultra Wide Band). In consideration of power dissipation and ease of design, we design the architecture, using 132MHz clock instead of 528MHz clock in Baseband. Because Deinterleaver writes and reads the transmitted data per 6Ncbps(The number of coded bits per symbol). using the difference between the number of sampling clock per symbol and the number of coded bits per symbol, we reduce performance degradation of parallel Viterbi decoders. In comparison with using 528MHz clock, the result is little difference.

  • Nowadays world wide web has been abundunt in quantity. However, the quality decreaed. Due to the much information, we need to select search some key words and review the search results using keywords related search methods in order to obtain information users want. In this paper, we propose the system design of treatise retrieval through metadata reasoning using ontology. In the process of this design, we express a particular treatise information as semantic-based metadata using ontology instead of using simple keywords relationship which has been used conventionally.

  • This paper describes the design of a robust H-infinity attitude controller for a quad-rotor. The linear model of a quad-rotor was estimated using PEM (Prediction Error Minimization) method with experimental input and output data. To design an attitude controller, an extended plant was constructed by adjusting several uncertainties and weighting functions. An H-infinity controller was obtained by applying H-infinity methodology to the extended plant. Through frequency-domain analysis, it was shown that the designed controller can overcome uncertainties up to 75% of the plant model. The performance and robustness of the controller were verified through time-domain simulation.

  • Scan design is a structured design-for-testability technique in which flip-flops are re-designed so that the flip-flops are chained in shift registers. We propose a new technique to re-design about clock operation. This technique propose about low power operation of scan clock and saved time of test operation.
