공정능력(工程能力)의 저해요인분석(沮害要因分析) (An Analysis of Hindrance Factors of Process Capability)

  • This paper analyses the hindrance factors of process capability. The reasons of the products which are out of specification can be accounted on the hindrance factors. An $\hat{e}$nquete which consists of 4 categories such as technical knowledge, work performance, work environment, and human relations at home and office, is prepared and handed out to 1000 works to get information. And Spearman's Correlation Coefficient (${\rho}s$) is adapted as an anaysis and consideration criterion. In consequence, it is revealed the next 4 factors become the vital hindrance factors of process capability: (1) unskillful working (2) over load for operators (3) imperfect work environment (4) incoordination of human relations And the correspondent policy can be summarized as follows: (1) propagation & fixation of I.E. techniques (2) harmonization of human relations (3) improvement of work environment (4) strengthening the T.W.I.

  • We are defined a space as the activities of creating value in harmonic relations between human and environment. After Industrial Revolution, relations between human and space is changing because of speed and visualization's power in contemporary society. We we known information where is far by means of visualization. There is only difference of speed. Movement in space means the line of vision and circulation. But it is tried to think relations between human and space again in result to experience indirectly. This study aims at the analysis of expression of the modem Architecture space in Giedion' Space, Time, Architecture and aesthetic systems applied to it. On the basis of that , this study analyzed the difference of Bergson' consideration from Modern Architecture about movement.

선택적 SOFM 학습법을 사용한 비선형 형상왜곡 영상의 복원 (Nonlinear shape resotration based on selective learning SOFM approach)

  • By using a selective learnable self-organizing feature map(SOFM) a more practical and generalized mehtod is proposed in which the effective nonlinear shape restoration is possible regardless of the existence of the distortion modelss. Nonlinear mapping relation is extracted from the distorted imate by using the proposed selective learning SOFGM which has the special property of effectively creating spatially organized internal representations and nonlinear relations of various input signals. For the exact extraction of the mapping relations between the distorted image and the original one, we define a disparity index as a proximal nmeasure of the present state to the final idealy trained state of the SOFM, and we used this index to adjust the training of the mapping relations form the weights of the SOFM. Simulations are conducted on various kinds of distorted images with or without distortion models, and the results show that the proposed method is very efficeint very efficient and practical in nonlinear shape restorations.

  • A new remeshing algorithm based on the energy minimization is proposed for the finite element method. This utilizes the variation of mapping function between the master and global elements. The resultant equations are only the other form of the governing equations. However the equations have an important information about the relations between the elements. By assuming the solutions of the governing equations, these relations are used very usefully for the mesh optimization. The explicit formulations are presented for the relations of 1-dimensional equations and some examples are solved for comparison with the other methods. In addition, 2-dimensional expansion is presented for the general use.

마켓 타이밍과 유상증자 (Market Timing and Seasoned Equity Offering)

  • Purpose - In this study, we propose an empirical model for predicting seasoned equity offering (SEO here after) using machine learning methods. Design/methodology/approach - The models utilize the random forest method based on decision trees that considers non-linear relationships, as well as the gradient boosting tree model. SEOs incur significant direct and indirect costs. Therefore, CEOs' decisions of seasoned equity issuances are made only when the benefits outweigh the costs, which leads to a non-linear relationship between SEOs and a determinant of them. Particularly, a variable related to market timing effectively exhibit such non-linear relations. Findings - To account for these non-linear relationships, we hypothesize that decision tree-based random forest and gradient boosting tree models are more suitable than the linear methodologies due to the non-linear relations. The results of this study support this hypothesis. Research implications or Originality - We expect that our findings can provide meaningful information to investors and policy makers by classifying companies to undergo SEOs.

Estimation of elastic seismic demands in TU structures using interactive relations between shear and torsion

  • The code static eccentricity model for elastic torsional design of structures has two critical shortcomings: (1) the negation of the inertial torsional moment at the center of mass (CM), particularly for torsionally-unbalanced (TU) building structures, and (2) the confusion caused by the discrepancy in the definition of the design eccentricity in codes and the resistance eccentricity commonly used by engineers such as in FEMA454. To overcome these shortcomings, using the resistance eccentricity model that can accommodate the inertial torsional moment at the CM, interactive relations between shear and torsion are proposed as follows: (1) elastic responses of structures at instants of peak edge-frame drifts are given as functions of resistance eccentricity, and (2) elastic hysteretic relationships between shear and torsion in forces and deformations are bounded by ellipsoids constructed using two adjacent dominant modes. Comparison of demands estimated using these two interactive relations with those from shake-table tests of two TU building structures (a 1:5-scale five-story reinforced concrete (RC) building model and a 1:12-scale 17-story RC building model) under the service level earthquake (SLE) show that these relations match experimental results of models reasonably well. Concepts proposed in this study enable engineers to not only visualize the overall picture of torsional behavior including the relationship between shear and torsion with the range of forces and deformations, but also pinpoint easily the information about critical responses of structures such as the maximum edge-frame drifts and the corresponding shear force and torsion moment with the eccentricity.

체험마케팅이 브랜드 자산에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 - 브랜드 홍보대사를 중심으로 - (A Study on the Experiential Marketing Effect on Brand Equity - Focus on Brand Ambassador for Public Relations -)

  • Experiential marketing focuses on the experience of customers to connect a company and a brand with the lifestyle of customers that influences buying behavior. This study investigates how the persons who experienced brand ambassadors for public relations as experiential marketing recognized brand equity, how personal satisfaction accomplished as a brand ambassador influenced brand equity, and how the effects are different based upon demographic information. The research methodology was a questionnaire distributed to individuals who experienced work as a public relations brand ambassador. A total of 104 returned questionnaires were analyzed by internal validity, t-test, and regression analysis with SPSS 12.0. The results of this study are as follows: Experiential marketing through a public relations brand ambassador positively influenced brand equity. The satisfaction at the company while working as brand ambassador positively influenced brand equity. Experiential marketing influenced more men than women regarding perceived quality and brand loyalty among brand equity. There is no significant differences regarding career (bank or apparel) among brand awareness, brand image, perceived quality, and brand loyalty.

문법관계 정보를 이용한 단계적 한국어 구문 분석 (Cascaded Parsing Korean Sentences Using Grammatical Relations)

  • 본 연구는 한국어 의존 구조를 결정하는 단계적 의존 구조 분석기를 제안한다. 각 단계에서는 주어진 문법관계의 후보열에서 올바른 문법관계를 결정하는데, 대상문법관계의 종류에 따라 독립적으로 수행된다. 문법관계의 후보열은 미리 학습된 지지벡터기계를 이용하여 주어, 목적어, 보어, 부사어 등 7가지의 문법관계로 추정한다. 각 단계에서는 지지벡터기계 분류기와 어절 간의 거리, 교차 구조 금지, 격 제한의 원칙 등의 한국어 언어 특성을 이용하여 대상문법관계를 결정하며, 모든 단계를 거쳐 최종적으로 전체 의존 구조와 문법관계가 결정된다. 트리 및 문법관계 부착 말뭉치를 이용하여 제안된 시스템을 구현 및 실험하였으며 약 85.7%의 정확률을 얻었다.

Morphometric relations and diet compositions of Nile tilapia Oreochromis niloticus (Linn. 1758) in Lake Tana Gorgora gulf, Ethiopia

  • Oreochromis niloticus is the most ecologically and economically important fish in tropical and sub-tropical aquatic systems. Recently, due to sever anthropogenic stressors, hydrological variations and infestations of invasive alien species in Ethiopian water bodies, fish community structure and ecosystem of Lake Tana is changing alarmingly. So far, there is paucity of information on the morphometric relations and diet composition of O. niloticus in Lake Tana, gulf of Gorgora. A total of 309 fish samples were collected and their total length (TL), standard length (SL) and total weight (TW) were measured to determine morphometric relations; and gut contents were examined to identify most important food item in the diet of the fish. Results indicated that, the relation between TL and SL was significant (p < 0.001) and linear (SL = 0.942TL-2.41) while the relation between TL and TW was curvilinear (TW = 0.014 TL2.8) indicating allometric growth. Among the total guts scrutinized, 53 (17.3%) of them were empty and the remaining 256 (82.7%) were non-empty. Phytoplankton constituted the largest bulk and occurred in 77% of the guts examined and volumetrically accounted 44.3%. Detritus and zooplankton had an intermediate importance by occurring 60.2% and 63.3% of all guts scrutinized and constituted about 25.6% and 15.5% of the total volume respectively. Contributions of macrophytes, insects, nematodes and unidentified food items were relatively low in their importance. Ontogenetic dietary shift was observed in the diet indicating an omnivorous feeding habit of the adult fish.

물리치료학과 학생들의 임상실습 중 대인관계에 대한 연구 (A Study on Interpersonal Relations on Clinical Practice of Physical Therapist Students)

  • The purpose of this study was to provide information for making positive interpersonal relations by understanding the degree of difficulties of interpersonal relations that physical therapist students may have on clinical practice. The survey results of 175 students who completed clinical practice for the first term of 2003. The survey was conducted through mail or e-mail between July 20 and August 20, 2003. The data were analyzed frequency, percentage, t-test, and one-way ANOVA using the SPSS/PC Ver. 10.0 (${\alpha}=0.05$). The results were as follows; 1. The mean score for the level of points interpersonal relations was 41.06 points in full 80 points. Therefore most students had a little problem on interpersonal relations. 2. More difficulties of interpersonal relations were felt by students in the following order; clinical instructors, patients, other students, and other department staffs in the hospital. 3. Between students and clinical physical therapist in the hospital, most students were satisfied with a instructor's attitude toward there (61.1%). 4. Between students and other department staffs in the hospital, most students were felt convenient when faced with other staffs(61.8%). 5. Between students and patients in the hospital, most students didn't uncomfortable when they made a rapport(69.2%). 6. Between students and other college students, most students were didn't inconvenient when they were practicing together(69.8%). 7. The students with higher marks in major felt more difficulties for forming personal relations with other department staffs in hospital, patient, and other students(p<0.05). 8. The students showed more felt inconveniences over 8 weeks practicing than below 7 weeks itperiods of clinical practice(p<0.05). 9. The number of practice place were significantly difference according to relation of patients, other college students(p<0.05). More less practice place were made difficult of interpersonal relations. The further studies would be made in viewpoints to clinical instructors, patients, students, others department staffs in the hospital so that we could compare our results with theirs.
