Development of Efficient System for Collection-Analysis-Application of Information Using System for Technology and Information in the Field of RI-Biomics (RI-Biomics 기술정보시스템을 활용한 효율적인 정보 수집-분석-활용 체계 수립에 관한 연구)

  • RI-Biomics is the new radiation fusion technology of which, such as the characteristics of radioisotope, is applied to the biomics. In order to sharing and overall analysis of data between the institutions through total management of information in the field of RI-Biomics, RI-Biomics Information portal 'RIBio-Info' was constructed by KARA (Korean Association for Radiation Application) in February 2015. For systematic operation of this 'RIBio-Info' system, it is required to develop system of collection-analysis-application of information. So, in this paper, we summarized development of document forms at each processes of collection-analysis-application of information and systematization of collection methods of information, establishment of characteristically analysis methods of reports such as issue paper, policy report, global market report and watch report. Therefore, these are expected to improving the practical applicability in this field through the vitalization of technology development of users by achieving the circular structure of collectionanalysis-application of information.

Development of a Small Waste Appliance Collection System (소형 폐가전 수거 시스템 개발)

  • In this paper, we propose a small waste appliance collection system that can be used for efficient waste appliance collection, and implement an unmanned automatic small waste appliance collector system. First, we collected cases related to the collection of waste home appliances, compared and analyzed methods, and arranged the characteristics. We analyzed at the requirements for the collection and management system of waste appliances by dividing it into the aspect of the discharger and the recycling business company. The collection system consists of a client-server structure, which is a collector system and a collection management server. The unmanned automatic collector system is divided into a control unit and a machine/mechanical unit. We identified the functions that the collector system must perform and the hardware required to perform these functions. Based on this, the collector system was implemented as an embedded system. The hardware and software used in the implementation are described and the implementation results are described. The collection system developed in this paper will contribute to the development of urban mining industry by enabling the efficient collection of waste appliances.

  • In Digital Computing Environment, volatile information such as register, cache memory, and network information are hard to make certain of a real-time collection because such volatile information are easily modified or disappeared. Thus, a collection of volatile information is one of important step for computer forensics system on ubiquitous computing. In this paper, we propose a volatile information collection module, which collects variable volatile information of server system based on memory mapping in real-time.

  • Existing distributed systems have higher probability of failures occurrence than stand-alone system, so many fault tolerant techniques have been developed. Because of insufficient storage resulting from the increased fault tolerance information stored, the performance of system has been degraded. To avoid performance degradation, it needs delete useless fault tolerance information. In this paper, we propose a garbage collection algorithm for fault tolerance information. And we define and design the garbage collection agent for garbage collection of fault tolerance information, the information agent for management of fault tolerant data, and the facilitator agent for communication between agents. Also, we propose the garbage collection algorithm using the garbage collection agent. For rollback recovery, we use independent checkpointing protocol and sender based pessimistic message logging protocol. In our proposed garbage collection algorithm, the garbage collection, information, and facilitator agent is created with process, and the information agent constructs domain knowledge with its checkpoints and non-determistic events. And the garbage collection agent decides garbage collection time, and it deletes useless fault tolerance information in cooperation with the information and facilitator agent. For propriety of proposed garbage collection technique using agents, we compare domain knowledge of system that performs garbage collection after rollback recovery and domain knowledge of system that doesn't perform garbage collection.

  • Recently, as evaluation of information security (IS) management become more diverse and complicated, the contents and procedure of the evidence to prepare for actual assessment are rapidly increasing. As a result, the actual assessment is a burden for both evaluation agencies and institutions receiving assessments. However, most of them reflect the evaluation system used by foreign government agencies, standard organizations, and commercial companies. It is necessary to consider the evaluation system suitable for the domestic environment instead of reflecting the overseas evaluation system as it is. The purpose of this study is as follows. First, we will present the problems of the existing information security assessment system and the improvement direction of the information security assessment system through analysis of existing information security assessment system. Second, it analyzes the technical guidance for information security testing and assessment and the evaluation of information security management in the Special Publication 800-115 'Technical Guide to Information Security Testing and Assessment' of the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST). Third, we will build a framework to implement the evidence collection system and present a system implementation method for the '6. Information System Security' of 'information security management actual condition evaluation index'. The implications of the framework development through this study are as follows. It can be expected that the security status of the enterprises will be improved by constructing the evidence collection system that can collect the collected evidence from the existing situation assessment. In addition, it is possible to systematically assess the actual status of information security through the establishment of the evidence collection system and to improve the efficiency of the evaluation. Therefore, the management system for evaluating the actual situation can reduce the work burden and improve the efficiency of evaluation.

  • The smart tourism service provides services such as travel planning and tour guides to tourists using key technologies of the 4th industrial revolution, such as the Internet of Things, communication infrastructure, big data, artificial intelligence, AR/VR, and drones. We are developing smart tourism services such as recommended travel products, my travel itinerary, tourism information, and chatbots for tourists through the smart tourism app. In this paper, we develop a smart tourism service system that provides real-time location-based tourism information and weather information to tourists. The smart tourism service system consists of a smart tourism app, a smart tourism information system, and an IoT data collection device. The smart tourism information system receives weather information from the IoT data collection device installed in the tourist destination. The location-based smart tourism service is provided as a smart tourism app in the smart tourism information system according to the Beacon's UUID in the IoT data collection device. The smart tourism information system stores the Beacon's UUIDs received from tourists and provides a safe hiking service for tourists.

  • Data collection system is now widely used. This system is divided by embedded system and communication module. And data collection system in the remote area is using Satellite communication. So, data collection system is complicated and expensive. This paper proposes stabilization and cheapness of remote data collection system in dusty. The system can be composed simply through third party Satellite Communication programming of terminal including embedded system. Finally, collected data is transmitted to multi-user through web agent.

  • Real time information on disaster situation is very important in disaster prevention effort. Generally, disaster related organizations use mobile devices to collect various disaster informations of disaster site. However, current disaster collection systems do not provide effective functionality to connect with another disaster information system. Therefore, disaster-related organizations have to make smartphone application for collection and administration of disaster information and then connect it with another information system. If this system is commercialized, vulnerability of previous system can be complemented. Thus, this paper focused on designing a prototype system for information collection and management in disaster site using smartphone applicatiom.

  • This paper describes the system development for the Ground Control Point collection and management through the major coastline region in KOREA, which will collect and manage the ground control point based on high resolution satellite image database. The module of this system is following 1) GCP/Coarstline research plan module 2) GCP/Coarstline ground collection module 3) GCP/Coarstline post processing module Our team developed the core components of ‘High Resolution Satellite Image Processing Technique’ project, and this system, among applications of our project, is constructed to apply to practical use.
