  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of general, health, and alcohol-related characteristics on blood pressure and stress according to the Alcohol Use Disorders Identification Test (AUDIT). Methods: This was a descriptive study. From participants in the 2013 Korea National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey, 319 participants who responded to the survey when they were attending college or university were selected. Data were analyzed using the SPSS Win 23.0 program for composite sample data reflecting the composite design elements of stratification, colonization, and weighting. Results: Mean age of onset of alcohol drinking was $17.91{\pm}0.16$ years, the average AUDIT score was $7.56{\pm}0.41$, and 25 (9.1%) participants fell into the high-risk drinking group. In the high-risk AUDIT group, systolic blood pressure was influenced by age, gender, institution, health status, body mass index, and suicidal ideation, and the explanatory power of the model ($R^2$) was 75.0%. For diastolic blood pressure, institution and health status were the influential factors, and $R^2$ was 66.2%. Predictors of stress were health status, depression, and the age of onset of drinking, and $R^2$ was 57.2%. Conclusion: It was confirmed that the explanatory power of the variables in models of systolic and diastolic blood pressure and stress is greater in those with higher scores on AUDIT.

  • NGI(Next Generation Internet) is characterized by QoS(Quality of Service) and high speed transmission. Recently, DiffServ and MPLS become most influential NGI architecture. To guarantee end-to-end QoS, it is essential for NGI to interwork MPLS with DiffServ. Here, MPLS WG(Working Group) in IETF(Internet Engineering Task Force) proposed the method of E-LSP(EXP inferred-PSC LSPs) and L-LSP(Label-Only-Inferred PSC LSPs), but both of them have serious problems to satisfy perfect interworking. In this paper, we proposed an extended E-LSP architecture that supports Perfect DiffServ class and experimental function in MPLS such as ECN(Explicit Congestion Notification) capability. We verify that the proposed E-LSP architecture improves QoS in NGI by using ns2 simulator.

  • Recently, the influence of SNS and online media is rapidly growing with a consequent increase in the interest of marketing using these tools. Blog marketing can increase the ripple effect and information delivery in marketing at low cost by prioritizing keyword search results of influential portal sites. However, because of the tough competition to gain top ranking of search results of specific keywords, long-term and proactive efforts are needed. Therefore, we propose a new method that recommends associated keyword groups with the possibility of higher exposure of the blog. The proposed method first collects the documents of blog including search results of target keyword, and extracts and filters keyword with higher association considering the frequency and location information of the word. Next, each associated keyword is compared to target keyword, and then associated keyword group with the possibility of higher exposure is recommended considering the information such as their association, search amount of associated keyword per month, the number of blogs including in search result, and average writhing date of blogs. The experiment result shows that the proposed method recommends keyword group with higher association.

  • The nutritional status of middle-aged overweight and control normal subjects were evaluated for the purpose of providing the background information of the degenerative disease control. A survey was conducted with 293 healthy subjects (121 males and 172 females) between the ages 40-64. The average BMI (body mass index) of male subjects was 24.5 $\pm2.75$, and that of females was 23.5 $\pm2.87$. The average values of WHR (waist-hip ratio) were 0.88 $\pm0.04$, for males and 0.82 $\pm0.07$, for females. The normal BMI group (BMI 18.5-22.9) comprised 28.9% of males and 47.1% of females. The percentage of overweight subjects (BMI 23-24.9) was 26.4% of males and 30.8% of females. The obese group (BMI > 25) was 44.6% of males ana 22.1% of females, showing the greater rate of obese state among male subjects. The average energy intakes were 76.6 $\pm14.9$% for males and 77.8 $\pm12.6$, % for females, protein intakes were 108.0 $\pm24.6$% for males and 111.2 $\pm22.7$, % for females of the RDA levels. The average intakes of other nutrients were above the 75% of RDA levels except calcium. The average nutrient intakes of the three subgroups according to their BMI values were not different for both males and females. There were weak correlations between obesity and blood biochemical indices. There were positive correlations between BMI or WHR and hemoglobin, hematocrit, fasting glucose, total cholesterol, triglyceride, AST or ALT. There were negative correlations between BMI or WHR and HDL-cholesterol. These results suggest that the obesity rate of middle-aged is an influential factor of chronic disease. The middle-aged subjects of this study with higher educational and socioeconomic background tend to have desirable nutrition knowledge and attitude, but the application of their knowledge or attitude was relatively poor.

  • The objective of this study is to investigate the effect of solution treatment on the microstructure and corrosion behavior of cast AZ91-4%RE magnesium alloy. In the as-cast state, microstructure of the AZ91-4%RE alloy was characterized by intermetallic ${\beta}(Mg_{17}Al_{12})$, $Al_{11}RE_3$ and $Al_2RE$ phase particles distributed in ${\alpha}-(Mg)$ matrix. After solution treatment, the ${\beta}$ particles with low melting point dissolved into the matrix, but Al-RE phases still remained due to their high thermal stabilities. It was found from the immersion and potentiodynamic polarization tests that corrosion rate of the AZ91-4%RE alloy increased after the solution treatment. On the contrary, EIS tests and EDS compositional analyses on the surface corrosion products indicated that the stability of the corrosion product was improved after the solution treatment. Examinations on the corroded microstructures for the ascast and solution-treated samples revealed that dissolution of the ${\beta}$ particles which play a beneficial role in suppressing corrosion propagation, would be responsible for the deterioration of corrosion resistance after the solution treatment. This result implies that the microstructural features such as amount, size and distribution of secondary phases that determine corrosion mechanism, are more influential on the corrosion rate in comparison with the stability of surface corrosion product.

  • The purpose of this study is to explore the effects of listening comprehension ability, self-efficacy, comprehension anxiety, and exposure time on Korean language understanding. In order to achieve our goal, listening examinations and surveys were conducted among 95 students from a university in Thailand, studying Korean language. As a result, it was revealed that the most influential factor on one's listening ability was self-efficacy. In addition, when the correlation between listening self-efficacy and other factors was examined, it was shown that there existed a statistically significant relationship. Particularly, listening comprehension anxiety had the most significant correlation with listening self-efficacy. Similarly, cognitive strategy demonstrated a significant correlation with listening self-efficacy. On the other hand, the effects of self-efficacy and other factors on listening scores such as the degree and types of strategy that students used were also studied. The findings revealed that, in most cases, strategy-intensive group's test results were influenced more by exposure time, while the less intensive group's scores were influenced more by their self-efficacy. Finally, after analyzing the effects of time spent on conversing with friends and watching Korean television on listening self-efficacy, it was discovered that both factors had statistically significant relationships with listening self-efficacy. Through this study, such results can be integrated and applied to education in various ways. The most important part for listening comprehension ability is enhancing self-efficacy and in order to do so, the appropriate education methods should be used to reduce listening comprehension anxiety, stimulate strategy use, and increase listening exposure time.

  • In the real world, the user's preference for a particular product is determined by many factors besides the quality of the product. The reflection of these external factors was very difficult because of various fundamental problems including lack of data. However, access to external factors has become easier as the infrastructure for public data is opened and the availability of evaluation platforms with diverse and vast amounts of data. In accordance with these changes, this paper proposes a recommendation system structure that can reflect the collectable factors that affect user's preference, and we try to observe the influence of actual influencing factors on preference by applying case. The structure of the proposed system can be divided into a process of selecting and extracting influencing factors, a process of supplementing insufficient data using sentence analysis, and finally a process of combining and merging user's evaluation data and influencing factors. We also propose a validation process that can determine the appropriateness of the setting of the structural variables such as the selection of the influence factors through comparison between the result group of the proposed system and the actual user preference group.

  • Large-scale international comparison studies for a decade have shown Korean students' negative affective constructs and engagement. In addition to this general finding, this research aimed to provide details in Korean students' affective constructs and engagement. With the latent profile analysis, we found five groups of individuals showing qualitatively different characteristics in their affective constructs and engagement. Particularly, it is required to pay more attentions to two groups with relatively negative views on engaging teaching in mathematics lessons. The findings in this research suggested that different approaches could be required to improve affective constructs and engagement in each group. This necessitated further research on achievement and influential factors on each group's characteristics of affective constructs and engagement.
