Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identify influencing factors of using numbers and period of complementary and alternative therapy (CAT) among chronic patients. Methods: The study employed a descriptive design. The participants were 221 chronic patients. Data were collected in a pharmacy near a general hospital from April to July, 2008. Results: Influencing factors on using number of CAT were age, numbers of disease, period of used CAT and monthly expenses on CAT (the ability to explain, 79.9%). Influencing factors on using period of CAT were the period of illness and using number of CAT (the ability to explain, 44.9%). Conclusion: The results of this study suggest that chronic patients need counseling and guides about using CAT especially for those are older and have many kinds and longer period of diseases.
This study intended to understand the factors influencing the utilization of charged retirement home services for the elderly by stage of discision making. At the same time the purpose of the study is also to present the results of this study as data for the expectation of the demand. The subject of this study was non-utilizer (635 persons) and utilizer (62 persons) of charged retirement home services over the age of sixty. Non-utilizer was selected by random sampling in urban and rural area, and utilizer was investigated by census survey in the three charged retirement home. The research method was interview survey by questionaire. The questionaire was composed of 59 items, 25 variables, 5 components. The research model was to add Andersen's Prediction Model. The components were predisposing component, enabling component, need component, actualizing component, psychologic component. The results of this study were as follows. 1)In the stage of recognizing the residence problem, the recognizer were 76.7% (487 persons) of all the non-utilizer. The factors of influencing were property (B=-4.1E-05), solidarity with children (B=-.1070), house satisfaction (B=-.2517), need of charged retirement home (B=.2614). 2)In the stage of selecting an altenative as utilizing of charged retirement home services, the selecter were 41.1% (261 persons) of all the non-utilizer. The factors of influencing were perception of charged retirement home (B=.2790), need of charged retirement home (B=.2971). 3)In the stage of decion-making, the decider were 29.6% (188 persons) of all the non-utilizer. The factor of influencing was need of charged retirement home (B=.3570). 4)In the stage of the actualization, the factors of influencing were charge ability of utilization (B=.1025), significant others (B=.1868). The upper results were implemented by using the statistical methods of frequency, t-test, $$\chi$^{2}$-test, multiple logistic regression ( and P 〈 .05 ).
Purpose - This study analyzed the success strategy of Korean small & medium cosmetics exporting companies to enter the Southeast Asian market. Research design, data, and methodology - The independent factors are classified into firm capacity, financial factor, institutional factor, and operational factor. The results of the selection of distributor partners of cosmetics related export companies as a were classified as financial performance and non - financial performance. In order to analyze this, 65 Korean small and medium export companies were recruited through structured online questionnaire for 44 days from September 18, 2017 to October 31, 2017. These data were analyzed by frequency analysis, correlation analysis, factor analysis and regression analysis using SPSS. Results - The Cronbach's alpha coefficient was found to be 0.846. Factor analysis between variables revealed that the eigen value exceeded 1 and was considered valid. As a result of the correlation analysis between the variables, the financial factor and the corporate's competence showed the highest correlation with 0.774. Conclusions - Among the factors influencing the financial performance of the exporting firms, the factors influencing the financial performance of the exporting companies are the factors that influence the non - financial performance rather than the financial performance.
A total of 321 salaried employees were surveyed by a questionnaire to assess consumers perceptions on factors influencing their food choices when they go to a restaurant. The questionnaire consisted of 5 pages and each page contained a same 26 popular food list from various restaurants in JinJu in a column and 5 attributes (e.g. taste, price, fullness, healthiness) in a row. So the respondents were asked to rate a total 25 attributes on the points which the columns and the rows met, using a 5-point scale. The data were analyzed using the SAS program for factor analysis. Five factors which influence consumer's restaurant choice were emerged. They were named as follow: Factor 1:preference and purpose, Factor 2:taste, Factor 3:snack, Factor 4:convenience, Factor 5:concern about obesity. Most of respondents were satisfied with the taste and the healthiness of foods of restaurants in Jin-Ju. The younger and the female groups had more positive attitudes on eating out andi willing to use it frequently. Fullnes, healthiness, and price were important criteria in choice and preference of a restaurant. However, they didn't much consider the food safety. Taking account of the character of Korean food about fullness, healthiness, and resonable price, consumers might prefer Korean food to fast food or foreign food.

The purpose of this study was to identify important factors influencing fragrance sensibility responses as well as to explore fragrance sensibility factors affecting attitude toward and buying intention of perfume products. For data collection, smelling experiments were conducted with seven groups of 34 female consumers who are aged from the 20's to 40's. Data were analyzed by ANOVA, t-test, factor analysis, and linear regression analysis. In results, five factors (pleasant, romantic, stimulating, modem, familiar factors) were generated from the factor analysis of 24 fragrance sensibility factors. These fragrance sensibility factors significantly affected both attitude toward and buying intention of perfume products. Pleasant, romantic and familiar factors were considered as important factors affecting attitude and buying intention while the stimulating factor affected only buying intention. Fragrance sensibility factors influencing attitude and buying intention of perfume products differed in terms of age and purchase level of consumers.

Chemical Process industry in Korea has over 30 year's of history and is likely to face potential incidents. The traditional risk analysis and control system in Chemical Process industry focuses on mechanical defects, overlooking the human performance control. Although development of automation technology and controlling technology was necessary, human decision factor is essential to preventing accidents in the Chemical Process. Almost all serious accidents take place when inappropriate humanperformance and mechanical defects of safety equipments simultaneously occurs. The AHRA(Advanced Human Reliability Analyzer) software has been developed to collect failure data and analyze human error probability (Reliability) in Chemical Process Industry in Korea. This paper describes the HRA analysis result of PIF(Performance Influencing Factor) evaluation, HEP(Human Error Probability) and root cause of accidents by applying a Chemical Process Industry related accident data. This analysis result should present a scheme that, by controlling human error factor other than putting safety management funds into the machinery in plants, can reduce cost and maximize the safety in Chemical Process Industry.

purpose : The purpose of this study was to find out the influencing factors of smoking-cessation behavior of patients with coronary heart disease and to suggest the model of smoking-cessation behavior which was based on the relationship between influencing factors and then to test its fitness empirically. method : This study was based on the Theory of Reasoned Action and a hypothetical model was constructed with fifteen paths in consideration of main predictive factors of smoking-cessation behavior such as biological factor, disease-related characteristics, self-efficacy, supportive factor, environmental factor, disease-related perception factor, intention-to-quit, and psychological factor. The validity of a smoking- cessation model was tested to 264 patients with coronary heart disease by using SPSS 8.0 and Window LISREL 8.12a. results : 1. Seven of the 15 paths of smoking-cessation behavior proved to be significant. 2. The final model excluded three paths in the hypothetical model was demonstrated to be improved by $x^2$=44.31 (df=38, p=.22), Goodness of Fit Index (GFI)=.98, Adjusted Goodness of Fit Index (AGFI)=.96, Non-Normed Fit Index(NNFI)=1.00, Normed Fit Index(NFI)=1.00, and Root Mean Square Residual(RMR)=.24. 3.The smoking-cessation behavior was influenced directly by biological factor, self-efficacy, supportive factor, environmental factor, intention-to-quit, and psychological factor. The smoking-cessation behavior was accounted for 82% of variance by these factors. conclusion : although the adolescents' smoking behavior can be predicted by only smoking intention, it is hard to predict the adults' smoking-cessation behavior by only this factor. Therefore, intention-to-quit, self-efficacy, supportive factor should be improved because these are promotive factors for smoking-cessation behavior. Biological factor, environmental factor, and psychological factor are inhibitive factors, so nicotine replacement therapy is helpful to the high nicotine-dependents, and ex-smokers avoid other smokers in their environment and also patients should learn and practice the stress coping-skills.

This study describes the relation of physician's income and price of medical service and social welfare through microeconomic view, reviews the literature of influencing factor on physician's income, and it describes general distribution of physician's income, and analyzes influencing factor of physician's income. A total of 844 persons responded to the mail survey, through stratified sampling by 23 branches of medical society in Korean RBRVS study. The design of the study is cross sectional study, and the unit of analysis is a physician. To examine the change of average income per month, multiple regression was used to test the change according to physician's characteristics, demographic characteristics, scale of clinic, average intensity of ordinary work, and specialty. The major findings of this study are as follows; 1. As for self-employed physicians, the difference of average income per month among specialties was mcreased \4,850,000, but the difference was \6,020,000 under the control of control variables. 2. The number of average out-patients per month and number of nurses and nursing aides significantly positively associated, and average income per month was significantly higher for physicians who had sick-beds than physicians who had no sick-beds. In conclusion, the number of out-patient and number of nurses and nursing aides is the major influencing factor, and the difference of average income per month among specialties existed in self-employed physicians. So this study suggests basic hypothesis that the price of medical service and supply of physician by specialties are not pertinent. Being a cross-sectional study, this study can not suggest causal explanations. In the future, further study is needed for causal explanations.

As the consuming pattern is changing with the expansion of Internet use and the development of communication technology, Internet shopping market is getting bigger and bigger. By product group, clothing and fashion related products occupy the biggest share. Accordingly, in this study it was tried to identify the effects of Internet utilization capability that enables consumers to search for the information that they need in this information flood, variety pursuit trend and product review accommodation status on shopping value, and to analyze the effects of the shopping value on the purchase behavior in online shopping malls. When factor analysis is nude on Internet use level, it was found that Factor 1 was 'Flow Experience,' Factor 2 'Internet Use Capability,' and Factor 3 'Internet Challenge Desire.' When factor analysis is made on Diversity Pursuit Propensity, it was found that Factor 1 was 'Site Diversity Pursuit Propensity,' Factor 2 'Brand Diversity Pursuit Propensity,' and Factor 3 'Brand Value Pursuit Propensity.' When factor analysis is nude on Product Review Accommodation Propensity, it was found that Factor 1 was 'Product Information Provision Propensity,' and Factor 2 'Product Information Receiving Propensity.' Except Internet Use Capability and Product Information Provision Propensity, all other factors showed high correlation. The factor influencing the entertainment value most was Internet challenge desire, while that influencing the practical value most was flow experience. When the effects of the entertainment value and the practical value on product purchase were analyzed, it was found that both of entertainment value and the practical value influenced product purchase and the practical value influenced the product purchase more than the entertainment value.
