  • Kleene first investigated a three-valued system which follows the evaluations of the Lukasiewicz infinite-valued logic ${\L}C$ with respect to negation, conjunction, and disjunction, and treats $\rightarrow$ as material-like implication in the sense that A $\rightarrow$ B is defined as ${\sim}A{\vee}B$ in its evaluation. Diense and Rescher extended it to many-valued logic and infinite-valued logic, respectively. This paper investigates a variant of the infinite-valued Kleene-Diense logic KD, which we shall call strong Kleene-Diense logic (sKD): sKD has the same evaluations as KD except that sKD takes a variant of Kleene-Diense implication. Following the idea of Dunn [2], we provide algebraic completeness for sKD together with its deduction theorem.

  • In this paper, to analyze the initial valued non-homogeneous elastic half space by the scaled boundary analysis, the infinite element approach was introduced. The free surface of the initial valued non-homogeneous elastic half space was mode1ed as a circumferential direction of boundary scaled boundary coordinate. The infinite element was used to represent the infinite length of the free surface. The initial value of material property(elastic modulus) was considered by the combination of the position of the sealing center and the power function of the radial direction. By use of the mapping type infinite element, the consistent e1ements formulation could be available. The performance and the feasibility of proposed approach are examined by two numerical examples.

  • For the stochastic differential inclusion on infinite dimensional space of the form $dX_t{\in}\sigma(X_t)dW_t+b(X_t)dt$, where ${\sigma}$, b are set-valued maps, W is an infinite dimensional Hilbert space valued Q-Wiener process, we prove the boundedness and continuity of solutions under the assumption that ${\sigma}$ and b are closed convex set-valued satisfying the Lipschitz property using approximation.

  • This paper focuses on a robust semi-infinite interval-valued optimization problem with uncertain inequality constraints (RSIIVP). By employing the concept of LU-optimal solution and Extended Mangasarian-Fromovitz Constraint Qualification (EMFCQ), necessary optimality conditions are established for (RSIIVP) and then sufficient optimality conditions for (RSIIVP) are derived, by using the tools of convexity. Moreover, a Wolfe type dual problem for (RSIIVP) is formulated and usual duality results are discussed between the primal (RSIIVP) and its dual (RSIWD) problem. The presented results are demonstrated by non-trivial examples.

  • This paper investigates algebraic semantics for some weak Boolean (wB) logics, which may be regarded as left-continuous t-norm based logics (or monoidal t-norm based logics (MTLs)). We investigate as infinite-valued logics each of wB-LC and wB-sKD, and each corresponding first order extension $wB-LC\forall$ and $wB-sKD\forall$. We give algebraic completeness for each of them.

  • In this paper, we prove sufficient conditions for controllability of second order semi-linear neutral impulsive differential inclusions on unbounded domain with infinite delay in Banach spaces using the theory of strongly continuous Cosine families. We shall rely on a fixed point theorem due to Ma for multi-valued maps. The controllability results in infinite dimensional space has been proved without compactness on the family of Cosine operators.

  • An improvement is introduced to solve the plane problems of linear elasticity by reciprocal theorem for orthotropic materials. This method gives an integral equation with complex kernels which will be solved numerically. An artificial boundary is defined to eliminate the singularities and also an algorithm is introduced to calculate multi-valued complex functions which belonged to the kernels of the integral equation. The chosen sample problem is a plate, having a circular or elliptical hole, stretched by the forces parallel to one of the principal directions of the material. Results are compatible with the solutions given by Lekhnitskii for an infinite plane. Five different orthotropic materials are considered. Stress distributions have been calculated inside and on the boundary. There is no boundary layer effect. For comparison, some sample problems are also solved by finite element method and to check the accuracy of the presented method, two sample problems are also solved for infinite plate.
