  • 천연자원 및 물질순환은 자원채광, 운반, 처리, 활용, 회수 및 폐기 등과 관련된 모든 인간의 활동을 포함한다. 지속가능한 물질 관리는 물질순환을 통해 경제적 매개체에 맞추어진 통합된 정책수단이며 경제적으로 효율적이고 환경적으로 효과적인 물질의 사용을 위한 것이다. 산업광물, 금속광물 및 화석연료의 물질흐름은 회수, 처리, 소비 및 최종 폐기와 관련된 환경적 압력 때문에 지금껏 환경정책의 주된 영역이었다. OECD의 물질흐름분석연구는 회원국의 경제운용에서 물질자원의 중요성에 대한 이해의 폭을 넓혀 국가별국가간 천연자원 및 물질흐름에 대한 정량적이고 분석적인 지식기반을 증진하는 것이다. 현재 EU에서는 물질흐름계정이 몇몇 회원국에서 공식통계로 활용되고 있다. 주로 물질흐름분석은 물질흐름계정으로부터 정보를 활용하여 물질사용의 효율성을 평가하는 가치화기법으로서 기존의 경제모니터링시스템에서 파악되지 않는 천연자원 등의 폐기를 인지하는데 활용된다. 물질흐름분석에서 자원사용과 효율성은 장기간의 지속가능성 및 환경정책을 위한 중요한 주제로 떠오르고 있는 것이다.

  • 본 연구의 목적은 인천지역 특성화 고등학교의 산학협력 담당교사인 가칭 산학협력부장 등이 인식하는 산학협동교육을 알아보는 것이다. 연구의 목적을 달성하기 위해 질문지를 통한 조사연구를 실시하여 산학협동교육에 대한 인식을 교육과정(목적 및 내용), 지원체제를 포함한 운영체제(구축 및 활동 수준), 교육(진행 및 효과성, 문제점, 강화방안)을 중심으로 살펴보았다. Likert 5점 척도를 사용하여 설문한 다음 빈도, 평균, 표준편차 등 기술통계로 알아보았다. 설문조사에서 나타난 결과를 종합적으로 살펴보면, 산학협력에서 나타난 성과는 대체로 높은 것으로 판단되나, 아직까지 산학협력 이해관계자의 인식이나 의지가 부족하여 참여가 미흡하고, 이해관계자를 연결하고 조정하는 매개기구가 부족한 것이 문제점으로 나타났다. 또한, 산학협력의 활성화 및 효율화를 위한 정책 및 법적 제도적, 재정적 인프라가 아직 완벽하게 구축되지 않아 운영에 미숙한 점이 많고, 특히 직업교육기관 내부의 조직이나 인원의 인프라 구축이 결정적으로 미흡한 것으로 나타났다. 성공적인 산학협동교육이 그 목적을 달성하기 위해서는 첫째, 학교 경영자들의 참여 의지 제고, 교사들의 적극성 제고, 학생들의 적극적인 참여를 위한 직업교육기관의 비전과 선언, 교원들의 업무과중을 줄이기 위한 학교 업무 재구조화, 학교 문화의 개선 등의 내적요인과 둘째, 지역 내 인적 물적 자원의 연계활용을 위한 산학협력 포럼, 산학협력 네트워크 센터 협의처, 학교 내부의 산학협의체 등 내부와 외부를 연결하는 고리, 셋째, 정부 등의 로드맵 및 전략, 지속적인 지원기구 및 법적 제도적 산학협력 인프라의 구축 등의 외적 요인이 동시에 이루어져야 한다.

Korean consumers' attitudes towards organic labels and country-of-origin of organic foods

  • Although the South Korean organic food market is in the infancy compared to other industrialized countries, Korean consumers'interest in organic food and retail stores devoting space to organic products have been rapidly increasing. Despite the fact of organic food popularity, the term "organic" is interpreted differently by individuals. As opposed to the US, Japan and the EU where have operated an integrated organic food labelling system, Korea has adopted complex organic labelling systems regulated by several different government bodies. As a result, complicated food labelling standards make consumers confused when purchasing organic foods. Furthermore, in terms of country of origin (COO), it is argued by a lot of researchers that COO effects vary from product to product and from country to country; moreover, other informational cues such as brand and price can influence COO effects. In modern society, COO labelling has been complicated, due to the sourcing, manufacturing and market locations of merchandise spread over the world. Accordingly, the evaluation of COO effects has become complex. In order to examine these issues, a quantitative research was selected to classify the commonfeatures of organic food consumers and construct statistics such as the extent to which people are aware of organic food and COO labellingvia a questionnaire which took place in two cities in Korea with a cluster sample of 161 organic food purchasers. As for the data analysis, one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA), T-tests, bivariate crosstatulations with Cramer's V were conducted,depending on the characteristics of variables and the assumptions the research data need to fit. It has been concluded that in general, Korean organic consumers comprehend the term "organic"in a closer way to the general concept rather than technical term, thus people do not appreciate environmentally labels which include organic food labels, although marital status influence the degree of label awareness, regardless of gender, age, education level and so on. Regarding COO effects on organic food, home organic products were Korean consumers'first choice over those from industrialized countries and developing nations. Specifically, in processed organic product category, domestically cultivated and processed organic products were absolutely preferred to leading national brands produced with imported ingredients and international brands. However, due to a lack of checks of ingredients' COO, consumers tend to purchase a leading national organic food brand, believing that it is a pure organic food sourced domestically. As a consequence, this research has suggested some important managerial implications and future research directions. In order to prevent consumer confusion when buying organic foods, it should be noted that consumers do not comprehend the organic food certifications, due to complicated labelling systems for organic produce and processed organic foods. Therefore, government bodies related to organic food distribution have to know consumers' perception of organic food labels and the significance of customer-oriented labels and reestablish labelling standards. Similarly, public advertising should be followed to raise public awareness of the labelling to enable customers to have the correct information. In addition, not only international marketers but also domestic marketers need to understand COO images and also the influence COO of ingredients has on the image of an organic product.

커피전문점의 서비스품질이 고객만족과 행동의도에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Service Qualities on Customer Satisfaction and Behavioral Intention in Coffee Shops)

  • Purpose - The purpose of this study is to classify the quality factors of coffee shop customers with the service quality based on the SERVQUAL, selection attributes, and service qualities used in previous studies. The path structure of coffee shops' quality factors → customer satisfaction → trust → behavioral intention was analyzed in order to confirm the system of coffee shops' quality factors. Research design, data, and methodology - The survey of was conducted with college students of Kangwon University. A total of 250 questionnaires were distributed, with 232 collected. Of them, Excluding 36 respondents' because of incomplete answers and missing values, 196 responses were used in the final analysis. Empirical analysis was made through factor analysis, correlation analysis, multiple regression analysis, simple regression analysis and mediating regression analysis by using Statistics Package SPSS 19.0. Results - The results are as follows: Firstly, coffee shops' quality factors were classified into seven categories like service encounter quality, product quality, cleanliness, overall interior, purchase quality, convenience, and aesthetics. Secondly, service encounter quality, product quality, purchase quality, and aesthetics had a positive effect on customer satisfaction, respectively. Thirdly, it showed that service encounter quality, product quality, overall interior, purchase quality, and aesthetics had a positive effect on trust, respectively. Fourthly, customer satisfaction had a positive effect on behavioral intention. Lastly, after verifying the effect relations of trust between customer satisfaction about coffee shop and behavioral intention, customer satisfaction has a positive effect on trust and trust has a positive effect on behavioral intention. On the other hand, trust did not have a mediating effect between customer satisfaction and behavioral intention. But, cleanliness, convenience, and overall interior did not have a positive effect on customer satisfaction. Conclusions - Coffee shop consumers put importance on price, discount systems, taste, and freshness, but more on courteous and kind services of coffee shop staff or comfortable and calming atmosphere of inner space. Thereby, coffee shop marketers need to take factors like service encounter quality and aesthetics into more consideration. In addition, customer satisfaction has an effect on trust, while trust on behavioral intention, even though trust is not mediated between customer satisfaction and behavior intention.

MODIS 영상 자료와 패널 자료를 이용한 지표면온도변화 요인분석 (The Factor Analysis of Land Surface Temperature(LST) Change using MODIS Imagery and Panel Data)

  • 본 연구에서는 지표면 온도 변화에 미치는 주요 지역특성인자를 도출하고 각각의 인자가 미치는 확률적 영향계수를 추정하였다. 연구대상지역은 충청북도 전역이며 패널 분석을 위해 시 군 행정 단위로 분할하였다. 지표면온도 및 지역특성 시계열자료들은 MODIS 영상과 통계청자료를 사용하여 각각 구축하였다. 그리고 지표면온도와 횡단면자료인 지역특성인자들을 다중회귀관계로 설정하고 패널 모형 분석을 통하여 회귀계수 추정치를 산정하였다. 지표면온도와 지역특성인자는 패널 모형 분석에서 종속변수와 설명변수로 각각 사용하였다. 패널 자료 분석은 상용 통계프로그램 STATA14를 사용하였으며, 일원 개체 고정효과모형이 본 연구의 지표면온도 변화 해석에 가장 적절한 모형으로 선정되었다. 지표면온도 변화에 미치는 설명변수의 영향수준을 나타내는 기여율은 회귀방정식의 추정회귀계수로부터 구했다. 설명변수별 기여율은 도시 공업지역이 3.746로 가장 컸으며, 다음으로 평균고도${\times}$대지면적비율이 2.856, 전력사용량 2.742, 평균풍속 0.553, 비도시관리지역 0.102, 농림지역과 자연 환경보전지역은 0.085와 0.071 그리고 시 군의 평균강우량 한 단위 변화가 지표면온도 변화에 미치는 기여율은 0.003으로 추정되었다.

방사선과 신입생의 기초 수리능력 수준에 대한 연구 (A Study on the Basic Mathematical Competency Levels of Freshmen Students in Radiology Department)

  • 4차 산업 혁명 시대에 가상현실(VR), 인공지능(AI) 등에 있어서 더욱더 수리 능력을 요구하고 있다. 이에 본 연구는 2019년 6월 17일에서 28일까지 S와 D 대학교 방사선학과 신입생 총 78명을 대상으로 기초학습수리영역 진단 평가를 통해 기초 수리능력에 대한 수준을 파악하여 기초자료를 마련하고자 하였다. 연구결과, 대학생들의 기초 수리능력의 수준은 전반적으로 우수한 것으로 진단되었으나, 기하와 벡터 평균점수 2. 61점, 확률과 통계 평균점수 2.64점으로 보통 수준 진단되어 다른 영역보다 낮게 나타났다. 성별에 따른 기초수리능력 수준은 남학생 평균점수 17.48점, 여학생 16.29점으로 우수 수준으로 진단되었으며, 통계적으로는 유의한 차이가 없었다(p>0.05). 본 연구는 적은 연구대상 인원과 지역적인 제한점이 있기에 연구결과를 전체 대학교 신입생 및 모들 학과에 대해 일반화하는데 있어 다소 한계가 있을 수 있다. 이상의 결과를 토대로, 방사선학과 입학한 신입생들의 기초 수리능력 향상을 위해 학생 수준별로 전공과 관련된 기초 수리능력에 대한 향상 특강 등 다양한 프로그램이 진행 될 필요가 있으며, 교육과정에 전공 수학 교과목을 개설하여 학생 수준에 맞는 교수 학습방법 적용하여 수리능력에 대한 역량을 강화 할 필요가 있다.

승강기 중대고장 분석을 통한 안전관리 시사점 도출 (Derivation of Safety Management Implications through Analysis of Major Elevator Failures)

  • As the duty to report and investigate major elevator failures has expanded due to the total amendment of the Elevator Safety Management Act in 2018, more important information on major elevator failures that have been partially identified has been collected. As of 2019, the number of elevators in Korea exceeded 700,000, making it the eighth-class elevator powerhouse in the world, but there is a trend of increasing casualties due to accidents and breakdowns. An Seung-gang-gi is a term that encompasses an elevator that moves vertically and an escalator that moves horizontally. It is an important means of transportation for most citizens that are encountered almost every day in daily life, and it is also necessary as a means of transportation that enables the construction of skyscrapers. And it seems that its importance will never diminish in the future. Major elevator failures are the main cause of dispatch when accumulating the number of 119 dispatches, and the frequency of occurrence is high. It's a shame. According to Heinrich's Law, 300 minor signs and danger phenomena precede, 29 minor accidents and 1 major accident. Accidents caused by elevators are increasing every year due to the increase in the number of installations, and the damage is threatening the valuable lives and property of users and workers in related fields due to fatal risks such as death and serious injury. Elevator safety management can achieve its purpose only when it is managed with the usual interests, awareness of safety, and full efforts of the users, workers, and the government concerned. This study was analyzed based on 2019 data notified to the Korea Elevator Safety Agency on major breakdowns improved after the revision of the Elevator Safety Management Act in 2018, and a total of 8,256 data were analyzed using the SPSS 21 version, a statistical analysis tool, to analyze the correlation with technical statistics. Proceeded. Through the analysis, it was possible to obtain preventive safety management data to prevent serious elevator safety accidents from occurring, and to derive meaningful implications that related safety management and maintenance can be effectively operated to prevent serious failures. In addition, through this analysis, we expect the development of related industries and legal and institutional improvement.

소양면 지역사회 환경기초조사 (A Basie Community Health Survey in Rural Korea (Soyang-Myun))

  • 1. Introduction Community medicine with the concept of comprehensive medical care and an ideal medical care delivery system not only for an individual or family but for the whole community has emerged. In April 1970, the Presbyterian Medical Center started a hospital based community health service project in order to improve the health of the people in rural areas. Prior to commencing a comprehensive medical care system, a family survey was needed. The major objective of this survey was to obtain information concerning the people and their environment so as to be able to plan and implement a comprehensive medical care program in Soyang-Myun. 2. Survey Method An interview using a family record form was carried out for each household. This family record form was designed to get information about demography, family planning, environmental sanitation and vital statistics. Prior to beginning, the members of the survey team were trained in interviewing techniques for three days. The team consisted of a public health nurse, four nurse-aides, a sanitarian and four health extension workers who are working in our project, The survey was carried out during the period November 1971 to March 1972. 3. Project area 1) Population of Soyang-Myun was 11,668; male, 5,962 and female, 5,706. 일부 종합 병원 로비의 공기 중 엔도톡신 농도에 미치는 환경 요인 평가 (An Assessment of Environmental Characteristics Associated with the Level of Endotoxin Concentration in Hospital Lobbies)

  • Backgrounds: Endotoxin, which found in the outer membrane of the gram-negative bacteria cell wall, makes up almost all of the lipopolysaccharide(LPS). When people are exposed to endotoxin,it can result in diverse health effects such as an airway irritation and inflammation, fever, malaise, bronchitis, allergic asthma, toxic pneumonitis, hypersensitivity lung disease. Cases among the elderly, children or pregnant can occur more frequently than a healthy adult if they are repeatedly exposed to the existing endotoxin. Therefore, we investigated and assessed the environmental characteristics associated with the airborne endotoxin concentration level in six hospital lobbies. Method: Endotoxin from indoor air in six hospital lobbies was measured by an area sampling method and analyzed according to American Society for Testing and Materials International(ASTM international) E2144-01. Total suspended particulate(TSP), carbon dioxide($CO_2$), temperature and humidity were also measured by using direct reading measurements or airborne sampling equipment at the same time. Environmental characteristics were appropriately divided into two or three groups for a statistics analysis. One-way analysis variable(one-way ANOVA) was used to examine a difference of the endotoxin concentration, depending on the environmental characteristics. In addition, only variables with p-value(p<0.25) were eventually designed to the best model by using multiple regression analysis. Results: The correlation analysis result indicated that TSP(p=0.003) and $CO_2$(p<0.0001) levels were significantly associated with endotoxin concentration levels. In contrast, temperature(p<0.068) and humidity(p<0.365) were not associated with endotoxin concentration. Levels of endotoxin concentration were statistically different among the environmental characteristics of Service time(p=0.01), Establishment of hospital(p<0.001), Scale of hospital(p=0.01), Day average people using hospital(p=0.03), Cleaning time of lobby(p=0.05), Season(p<0.001), and Cleaning of ventilation system(p<0.001) according to ANOVA. Finally, the best model(Adjusted R-square=72%) that we designed through a multiple regression test included environmental characteristics related to Service time, Area of lobby, Season, Cleaning of ventilation system, and Temperature. Conclusions: According to this study, our result showed a normal level of endotoxin concentration in the hospital lobbies and found environmental management methods to reduce the level of endotoxin concentration to a minimum. Consequently, this study recognized to be requirement for the management of ventilation systems and an indoor temperature in order to reduce the level of endotoxin concentration in the hospital lobbies.

Comparing greenhouse gas emissions and nutritional values based on Korean suggested meal plans and modified vegan meal plans

  • Producing animal products from farm to table emits massive amounts of greenhouse gases (GHGs). Modified meal plans, mainly including vegetables and grains, have been recommended to reduce GHG emissions. However, these meal plans have not been developed with regard to the micronutrient content, but rather with regard to the energy requirements of grains and vegetables, which could result in a nutritional imbalance. For this reason, we investigated a common Korean suggested meal plan (SMP) from the National Institute of Agricultural Sciences, in which nutritional conditions were considered, and evaluated its GHG emissions using the Life Cycle Assessment Inventory Database and nutritional values. The SMP, which included meat, was based on the Korean Nutrition Society for adult men age 19 to 29, and was changed to a vegan meal plan (VMP). Animal-based protein sources were substituted for meat alternatives, such as beans and tofu, for which carbon footprint data was available. To compare the nutritional differences, the 9th Korean Food Composition Tables I and II were consulted. To calculate GHG emissions, the carbon footprint data of the food was converted to a CO2 equivalent (CO2e) using a procedure from the Foundation of Agriculture Technology Commercialization and Transfer. It was found that GHG emissions per calorie were 18% lower for the VMP when compared to the SMP. However, if GHG emissions per total amino acids were evaluated, the VMP GHG emissions per total amino acids were 0.12 g CO2e/mg, while the corresponding value for the SMP was 0.06 g CO2e/mg. The Korean daily meat intake reported by the Korea Agricultural Statistics Service was 37.1% lower than in the SMP, but when converted to a protein intake the figure was 17.0% lower. It was found that each SMP resulted in more GHG emissions than the VMP, but when considered as GHG emissions per total amino acids, the opposite pattern was apparent. There is a need to conduct more detailed studies of the variation in GHG emissions with different meal plans, using the daily meat intake per person.
