Support Vector Machine Based on Type-2 Fuzzy Training Samples

  • In order to deal with the classification problems of type-2 fuzzy training samples on generalized credibility space. Firstly the type-2 fuzzy training samples are reduced to ordinary fuzzy samples by the mean reduction method. Secondly the definition of strong fuzzy linear separable data for type-2 fuzzy samples on generalized credibility space is introduced. Further, by utilizing fuzzy chance-constrained programming and classic support vector machine, a support vector machine based on type-2 fuzzy training samples and established on generalized credibility space is given. An example shows the efficiency of the support vector machine.

설계 변경된 세척기의 유한요소해석 (FEM Analysis of Cleaning Machines by Design Change)

  • 본 논문의 목적은 설계 변경된 세척기의 유한요소해석에 있으며 세척 성능을 향상시킨 세척기 개발을 위하여 기존 세척기의 구조를 변경하여 설계하였다. 설계 시 프로그램은 CATIA V5를 사용하였으며 유한요소해석에 필요한 모델링 또한 CATIA V5를 사용하였다. 모델링된 세척기에 대하여 3차원 유한요소해석 프로그램인 ANSYS를 사용하여 해석을 수행하였으며 안정성을 검증하기 위하여 내부압력의 변화에 따른 유체의 흐름을 구하였다. 이러한 해석결과는 새로운 모델의 세척기를 개발하는데 활용되었다.

  • 탑 드라이브 장비는 드릴 비트에 회전력을 전달하여 굴착을 하게하는 장치이며, 1983년 Derrick Drilling Machine의 Kelly Rotary Table로 시작하여, 1984년에 DDM 650 DC가 등장함으로써 본격적으로 개발 되기 시작했다. 이러한 탑 드라이브 장비는 미국의 N사와 노르웨이 A사가 전 세계 시장의 90% 이상을 점유하고 있으며, 이로 인하여 탑 드라이브 장비의 세계시장 진입과 장비에 대한 정보가 제한적일 수 밖에 없다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 제한된 정보를 통하여 신뢰성을 가지는 제품을 개발하기 위한 절차 및 방법에 대하여 소개하고자 한다. 설계 오류 및 신뢰성이 검증된 제품 디자인을 위하여 3D Tool을 사용하였으며, 이를 활용하여 설계오류, 간섭체크, 기능체크, 구조강도 해석 등을 수행하여 제품의 신뢰성을 사전 검증 하였다.

Heuristics for Job Shop Scheduling Problems with Progressive Weighted Tardiness Penalties and Inter-machine Overlapping Sequence-dependent Setup Times

  • This paper presents new scheduling heuristics, namely Mean Progressive Weighted Tardiness Estimator (MPWT) Heuristic Method and modified priority rules with sequence-dependent setup times consideration. These are designed to solve job shop scheduling problems with new performance measures - progressive weighted tardiness penalties. More realistic constraints, which are inter-machine overlapping sequence-dependent setup times, are considered. In real production environments, inter-machine overlapping sequence-dependent setups are significant. Therefore, modified scheduling generation algorithms of active and nondelay schedules for job shop problems with inter-machine overlapping sequence-dependent setup times are proposed in this paper. In addition, new customer-based measures of performance, which are total earliness and progressive weighted tardiness, and total progressive weighted tardiness, are proposed. The objective of the first experiment is to compare the proposed priority rules with the consideration of sequence-dependent setup times and the standard priority rules without setup times consideration. The results indicate that the proposed priority rules with setup times consideration are superior to the standard priority rules without the consideration of setup times. From the second experiment and the third experiment to compare the proposed MPWT heuristic approach with the efficient priority rules with setup times consideration, the MPWT heuristic method is significantly superior to the Batched Apparent Tardiness Cost with Sequence-dependent Setups (BATCS) rule, and other priority rules based on total earliness and progressive weighted tardiness, and total earliness and tardiness.

스퍼 기어의 유한요소해석 조건에 따른 전달 오차 경향성 분석 (Analysis of the Transmission Error of Spur Gears Depending on the Finite Element Analysis Condition)

  • 기어의 구조 안정성 및 치물림 성능을 분석하기 위하여 유한요소해석이 널리 사용된다. 본 연구에서는 스퍼 기어의 유한요소 모델링 조건이 해석 결과 및 간소화 효과에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다. 기어 구조 해석의 간소화 방법으로 기어 몸체 및 잇수 간소화, 요소망 생성 방식, 접촉 및 마찰 조건, 해석 조건 등을 선정하였다. 기어의 성능해석 지표로써 1주기의 기어 치물림 사이클 동안의 정전달 오차를 계산하였고, 간소화 지표로써 해석 소요 시간을 측정하였다. 유한요소해석을 통해 치물림 주기에 따른 접촉 응력 분포 및 변화 양상을 확인하였다. 모델링 조건에 따라 최대 전달 오차와 해석 소요 시간에 차이를 확인하고 원인을 분석하였다.

Priority Scheduling for a Flexible Job Shop with a Reconfigurable Manufacturing Cell

  • This paper considers a scheduling problem in a flexible job shop with a reconfigurable manufacturing cell. The flexible job shop has both operation and routing flexibilities, which can be represented in the form of a multiple process plan, i.e. each part can be processed through alternative operations, each of which can be processed on alternative machines. The scheduling problem has three decision variables: (a) selecting operation/machine pairs for each part; (b) sequencing of parts to be fed into the reconfigurable manufacturing cell; and (c) sequencing of the parts assigned to each machine. Due to the reconfigurable manufacturing cell's ability of adjusting the capacity, functionality and flexibility to the desired levels, the priority scheduling approach is proposed in which the three decisions are made at the same time by combining operation/machine selection rules, input sequencing rules and part sequencing rules. To show the performances of various rule combinations, simulation experiments were done on various instances generated randomly using the experiences of the manufacturing experts, and the results are reported for the objectives of minimizing makespan, mean flow time and mean tardiness, respectively.

조선 적용을 위한 하이브리드 레이저 용접 캐리지 개발 (Development of the Hybrid Laser Welding Carriage for Shipbuilding)

  • Hybrid laser welding technology is a good process to reduce a thermal distortion and increase the productivity. However, it requires a high investment and a massive modification of the fabrication line such as a gantry system, milling machine for the edge preparation, high power laser system and weld machine. Therefore the development of an economical laser welding system is a crucial point to apply this system in shipbuilding yard. In this study, a portable hybrid laser welding carriage was developed for I-butt joint without edge milling. It is expected that the carriage type system could reduce investment cost.

  • In this paper, I propose a new asset allocation framework to cope with the dynamic nature of the financial market. The investment performance can be much improved by protecting the capital from the market crashes, and such crashes can be pre-identified with high probabilities by regime detection analysis via a specialized unsupervised machine learning technique.
