This paper is proposed new fuzzy controller for speed control of induction motor drive. New fuzzy controller take out appropriate amounts of accumulated control input according to fuzzily described situations in addition to the incremental control input calculated by conventional direct fuzzy controller. The structures of the proposed controller is motivated by the problems of direct fuzzy controller. Proposed controller fuzzily clear out integrated quantifies according to situation. This paper attempts to provide a thorough comparative insight into the behavior of induction motor drive with direct and new fuzzy speed controller. The validity of the comparative results is confirmed by simulation results for induction motor drive system.

This paper presents a solution that an analytical model for an induction motor and the formula of regenerative power and instantaneous torque are derived. based on the spiral vector. The torque is controlled linearly through variations of the slip angular velocity, based on the field acceleration method (FAM). And also PWM inverter fed induction motor drives is schemed to be easily a regenerative drive. The voltage source inverter fed induction motor drives that regenerative power occurs with back current type is presented, to easily controlled the feedback power and to proper the adaption of energy shaving drives. The experimental tests verify the performance of the FAM, proving that food behavior of the drive is achieved in the transient and steady state operating condition, and are discussed to save the power that regenerative power is measured at the operating acceleration or deceleration of servo system.
Conventional SVPWM method has null switching vectors. Null switching vectors cause common-mode voltage making high in induction motor drive system. New SVPWM method without using null switching vectors are proposed in the paper. So, new SVPWM method reduces the common mode voltage for induction motor drive system. It is realized by changing software without adding hardware to induction motor drive system. Simulation results show that common-mode voltage adapting proposed method are reduced regarding conventional method.
A hgih efficiency and good dynamic performance drive system of an induction motor is presented in this paper using vector control technique. If the induction motor is driven under light loads with rated flux, the iron loss is excessively large compared with the copper loss, resulting in poor motor efficiency. High efficiency drive of an induction motor can be achieved by adjusting the flux level which leads the total motor loss to be a minimum value. Generally reducing the flux degrades the dynamic performance, but the dynamic performance of the proposed system is also maintained high. If the d-axis is coincident with rotor flux phasor in synchronous rotating reference frame, the stator current can be decoupled as flux component and torque component. At steady state, the developed motor torque is proportional to the product of the flux and torque component. The combination of the two components minimizing the motor loss could be found with numerical method. As the procedure to obtain the optimal combination is too hard, it is found experimentally. The system block diagram is suggested for maximum efficiency control. The proposed system is studied through digital simulation and verified with experiment. The experimental results show the possiblity of a high efficiency drive with good dynamic performance of maximum efficiency control.
This paper based on spiral vector, three phase induction motor is described a detailed modeling by a phase segment methode. Based on this model, A torque control and the equation of regenerative power for the induction motor drive, based on the field acceleration method(FAM), is presented. The speed control system is designed to be applied voltage source inverters that is easy the current type feedback of power regeneration for motor drive. The ability of shaving power to be measured power regeneration has been investigated in speed acceleration and reduction. And it is change of stator resistance that the voltage commands include error, the ripple of exited voltage and torque occur from the results. The experimental tests verify the performance of the proposed regenerative drive for FAM, proving that good behavior of the drive is achieved in the transient and steady-state operating conditions.
This paper presents a feasible development on a highly accurate quick response adjustable speed drive implementation fur general purpose induction motor which operates on the basis of sensorless slip frequency type vector controlled sine-wave PWM inverter with an automatic tuning machine parameter estimation schemes. In the first place, the sensorless vector control theory on the three-phase voltage source-fed inverter induction motor drive system is developed in slip frequency based vector control principle. In particular, the essential procedure and considerations to measure and estimate the exact stator and rotor circuit parameters of general purpose induction motor are discussed under its operating conditions. The speed regulation characteristics of induction motor operated by the three-phase voltage-fed type current controlled PWM inverter using IGBT's is illustrated and evaluated fur machine parameter variations under the actual conditions of low frequency and high frequency operations for the load torque. In the second place, the variable speed induction motor drive system, employing sensorless vector control scheme which is based on three -phase high frequency carrier PWM inverter with automatic toning estimation schemes of the temperature -dependent and -independent machine circuit parameters, is practically implemented using DSP-based controller. Finally, the dynamic speed response performances for largely changed load torque disturbances as well as steady state speed vs. torque characteristics of this induction motor control implementation are illustrated and discussed from an experimental point of view.

Application of matrix converter to vector control of induction motor using simplified Venturini algorithm which is capable of achieving the maximum output voltage is developed. This algorithm simplifies the control algorithm and therefor reduces the digital implementation time. Matrix converter is used as voltage-referenced voltage fed vector controlled induction motor drive. This paper describes the performance of vector controlled induction motor with four quadrant capability employing a matrix converter power circuit. The advantage of this system over the conventional rectifier-inverter arrangement are capability for regeneration into the utility, sinusoidal supply currents and minimum passive components. The steady-state and transient performance of the induction motor drive under the vector control technique is demonstrate with simulation and experiment results.
This paper describes a control for the high performance induction motor drive system with a wide speed operating range and proposes a robust control method independent of motor parameter variation. For the operation below the rated speed, the high performance control is achieved by using the indirect field-oriented control with a speed sensor. In the high speed regain, the field weakening region with a large variation in motor parameters, the motor drive system can obtain the robustness to motor parameter variation by switchover to the direct field-oriented control. Also, the sensorless speed control using estimated speed is achieved in very high speed region that the utilization of speed sensor pulses is limited. And from experiments using high performance 32bit DSP for 2.2[kW] and 22[kW] laboratory induction motor drive systems, it is verified that the proposed opration algorithm provided a good performance.
