In this paper, we consider the Bayesian hypotheses testing for independence in bivariate exponential model. In Bayesian testing problem, we use the noninformative priors for parameters which are improper and are defined only up to arbitrary constants. And we use the recently proposed hypotheses testing criterion called the fractional Bayes factor. Also we give some numerical results to illustrate our results.

2차원 분할표 형태의 자료에 대해 두 범주형 변수들간의 독립성을 검정함에 있어, 만일 두 변수 각각의 모분포가 이미 완전히 알려진 경우라면 이 알려진 정보를 충족할 수 있도록 분할표 자료를 보정한 후 보정된 분할표 자료에 대해 전통적인 카이제곱 검정법을 적용하는 것이 더 타당함을 논증한다 그리고 이에 근거한 제약상황 카이제곱 독립성 검정법을 유도하고 모의실험을 통해 전통적인 무보정 카이제곱 검정법과 비교한다.

In this paper, we consider two components system which have bivariate weibull model with bivariate random censored data. We proposed large sample test for independence based on maximum likelihood estimator and relative frequency estimator, respectively. Also we derive asymptotic properties for the large sample tests and present a numerical study.

본 연구는 대학생 250명을 대상으로 장독립-장의존 인지양식이 정보탐색행위에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다. 장독립-장의존 인지양식은 집단잠입도형검사(GEFT: Group Embedded Figure Test)로 검사하였으며, 정보탐색행위는 정보탐색 수행평가와 설문조사의 방법으로 조사하였다. 분석 결과, 장독립-장의존 인지양식은 본 연구에서 설정한 항목들 중에서 한 개의 항목을 제외하고는 전부 정보탐색 수행평가의 항목에 영향을 미친 것으로 분석되었다. 따라서 인지과정 도중에 작용하는 인지적 특성인 인지양식은 정보를 탐색하는 실제적인 행위에 영향을 미쳤다고 할 수 있다. 그리고 장독립-장의존 인지양식은 정보탐색행위의 영역적인 면에서는 탐색결과와 일반적인 정보탐색행위를 제외하고, 탐색과정에만 영향을 미쳤다. 그러므로 정보탐색행위의 탐색 과정적 영역에서는 인지양식의 연구가 효율적이라고 할 수 있다.

The purpose of this research was to investigate the relationship between mothers' bsex-role attitudes and child-rearing values of independence granting and pressure for achievement, and also to examine variations in mothers' attitudes by sex of child. The subjects of this study were 260 mothers of preschool girls and boys. They were middle and high SES class and highly educated. The 20 item version of the Feminism Scale (FEM Scale) was used to measure mothers 'attitudes toward women's sex-role ideology. The Korean Sex-Trait Stereotype Measure was used to measure the mothers' sex-perception of masculinity and feminity. The 5-item translated Barnett Independence Granting Scale was used to measure independence granting. The 7-item version of the Barnett Pressure for Achievement Scale was used to measure mothers' pressure on their children for achievement. Data analysis consisted of Pearson's Product-Moment Correlation Coefficient and t-test. The results were: 1. Mothers' nontraditional sex-role ideology was significantly related to lower mean age of independence granting and to pressure for achievement. 2. Two self-perception scores (self-masculine and self-feminine) were not related to mean age of independence granting but were significant1y related to pressure for achievement. 3. The mean age of independence granting was lower for sons than for daughters. 4. Mothers put more pressure for achievement on sons than on daughters.

랜덤표본에 관한 이원분할표의 독립성검정에는 통상 피어슨의 카이제곱적합도검정과 우도비검정을 사용한다. 그러나 랜덤표본이 아닌 집락자료에 관한 분할표의 경우에는 이들 검정법은 잘못된 결과를 나타낸다. 이러한 경우에는 공변량의 고정효과 외에 집락에 따른 변량효과를 함께 포함하는 일반화선형혼합모형을 고려함으로써 집락간의 이질성과 집락내의 종속성을 반영할 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 집락자료의 분할표에 대한 일반화선형혼합모형을 소개하고 실례를 통하여 이들 모형의 적합에 대해 논의한다.

Objective: Participation restrictions are serious problems that stroke survivors experience while reintegrating into family, work, community, and social situations after participating in rehabilitation programs. The purpose of this study was to explore the factors affecting participation in activities of daily living (ADL), as well as social and leisure activities of individuals with hemiparetic stroke. Design: Cross-sectional study. Methods: The study involved 96 participants who were diagnosed with a first stroke 6 months before the study (58 men, 38 women; $60.3{\pm}14.3years$). The Berg Balance Scale, Modified Barthel Index, Manual Function test, and Activity Card Sort were used to assess static and dynamic balance function, upper limb function, level of independence, and their level of participation within the community. A regression analysis was used to identify the influence of factors affecting participation in ADL, social and recreational activities. Results: The Activity Card Sort scores were significantly affected by the Manual Function test and Modified Barthel Index scores (p<0.05). Participation in leisure activities was affected by the level of independence. Participation in social activities was affected by the balance function and level of independence of the participants. Conclusions: The results of this study have shown that participation restrictions are affected by upper limb function, balance function, and the level of independence in individuals with hemiparetic stroke.

We consider a Bayesian test of independence in a two-way contingency table that has some zero cells. To do this, we take a three-stage hierarchical Bayesian model under each hypothesis. For prior, we use Dirichlet density to model the marginal cell and each cell probabilities. Our method does not require complicated computation such as a Metropolis-Hastings algorithm to draw samples from each posterior density of parameters. We draw samples using a Gibbs sampler with a grid method. For complicated posterior formulas, we apply the Monte-Carlo integration and the sampling important resampling algorithm. We compare the values of the Bayes factor with the results of a chi-square test and the likelihood ratio test.

The purpose of this study was to identify the influences of psychological independence(functional independence and emotional independence) and career decision-making self-efficacy(self-estimation, career goal, occupational-knowledge, and problem solving) on career maturity(preparation, objective, decisiveness, and certainty) among adolescents. The subjects were 447 students in the second grade of middle school and high school in D. The questionnaire consist of measures of psychological independence, career decision-making self-efficacy, and career maturity. The data were analysed with factor analysis, Cronbach's ${\alpha}$, t-test, ANOVA, correlation and multiple regression by using the SPSS(SPSS/WIN 19.0) program. The major results were as follows. First, adolescents' the career maturity was significantly different depending on the socio-demographic variables. Second, it was shown that middle and high school students have a statically relation, in a relation among psychological independence, career decision-making self-efficacy, and career maturity. Third, it was found that psychological independence and career decision-making self-efficacy gave statistically meaningful influence on the career maturity of adolescents. This study is significant in that it suggests a plan for improving career maturity, and provides a basic material to improve one's active role in their parents. In addition, the results of this study can be used as a fundamental reference in career development programs and career-counseling centers at schools for enhancing adolescents' career development and success.

두 확률변수의 연관성을 측정하는 측도는 많이 있으나, 이러한 측도는 같은 유형인 변수들 간의 관계를 측정하기 위한 것으로 여러 가지 유형의 변수들이 혼재되어 있는 혼합자료에서 사용하기는 곤란하다 본 논문에서는 두 확률변수의 독립성 검정을 통해 구한 p-값으로 혼합자료에서 사용될 수 있는 새로운 연관성 측도를 구하였으며, 이렇게 구하여진 연관성 측도가 혼합자료에서 변수들 간의 연관성을 비교하는데 유용하게 사용될 수 있음을 보였다.
