This study aims to provide ways to achieve structural improvements of the internal flow path of the discharge plenum of a swash plate piston pump valve block vulnerable to cracks. This paper corresponds to Part I, which consists of a structural analysis of the valve block, identification of the stress distribution and stress raisers, and creation of a Simple Model of the valve block to review the optimal design. Structural analysis was performed by assigning the same conditions as those found in the valve block model, and the design was reviewed by examining three different design improvement plans for the internal flow path of the discharge plenum.

Re-consultation on Marine Environment Impact Assessment (MEIA) says that business operators are then licensed back from the disposition authorities undergoing a consultation process to change business plans. Marine Environment Management Act has provisions(Article 94) with respect to a case where the scale of business, the period of business, reflects the basic plan, including a plan to change a variety of reasons. But increasingly diverse types of businesses and projects which are the subject of MEIA, As it appears that the vulnerability issues and the problem of the re-consultation. In this study conducted an analysis of the literature review and comment on the re-consultation report four years. In addition, it presents a check to the problem through concrete examples related to the re-consultation and proposes improvement measures.

High speed railroad project management has been almost completed by starting operation of Seoul-Busan high speed railroad with the exception of a few constructing blocks currently in April, 2004. After Korea Rail Network Authority was established in 2004, it needs to develop new project management system for both conventional railroad construction and high speed railroad construction for domestic railroad projects, while it plans to invest in overseas railroad project for logistics innovation and improvement in passenger transport services on a large scale. Therefore this paper provides the method that we can adapt the project management system for high speed railroad containing experiences and know-how from construction of high speed railroad for both conventional railroad construction and high speed railroad construction or improve project management system for high speed railroad to use it as project management system for overseas railroad projects.

Recently, there are many problems of service qualities such as regular-rapid-safe -comfortable transport, that was traditionally advantages in urban railway transportations. These problems cause train delays that affects consecutive schedule, capacity, operation plans, and it is hard to prevent the propagation of delay and find the recovery solution. Because the urban transport demands is continuously increased and the railway service is also expanded, the railway operation company makes efforts to improve operation performance and efficiency for passengers. In this paper, we analyse the issues and problems existing in the major operation line of high-density urban railways, and suggest the development direction of intelligent operation technology to improve the urban railway service by minimizing the occurrence and propagation of delay. And the result of numerical case study is also presented.

In the construction industry, most safety related researches have been focused on the safety matters in construction job site while the safety issues regarding facility management have been received limited attention. Hence, this research aimed to uncover the problems of current safety management practices then suggest improvement plans. Through the questionnaire suey and analysis, following conclusions were drawn. Regarding the safety mindset, participation rate in safety prevention activities is average at most. Therefore, the extra attention and effort by property owners and managers are required. Examination of accidents indicated that 88% of them were stemmed from unsafe activities, 10% from unstable mentality and 2% from unavoidable natural disasters. Therefore, 90% of these accidents could be prevented by eliminating unsafe activities. In addition to the above findings, several other facts and suggestions are detailed.

This study, noting the provisions of the complete revision of the International Frequency Administration System, mainly frequency allocations of the Broadcasting Service and the Broadcasting-Satellite Service forming part of the World Radio Administrative Conferences, 1979, bearing in mind the development of International Frequency Administration System and international trends, with a view to attempting the effective utilization of frequencies which may be adapted for those plans of the service in the future, is analysed and considered on the points and improvement of frequency allocations.

Objectives: The aims of this study are to derive the characteristics of diesel exhaust gas emissions generated during vehicle checking in the garage of fire stations and of the related improvement plans for proper air quality management. Methods: The researcher measured changes in the air quality inside garages according to the operating conditions of the exhaust facility and before and after vehicle checking at three fire stations. Results: During the checking of fire engines, a large volume of hazardous substances exceeding management standards were generated, and improvement of the discharge facilities was required for proper air quality management. Conclusions: It is necessary to study the hazard evaluation of firefighters' exposure to exhaust gas, to operate exhaust gas ventilation facilities, and to prepare technical standards for proper indoor air quality management.

Although more than 99% of all Korean companies are small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), which accounts for a large part of the national economy, they are having difficulties in securing information protection capabilities due to problems such as budget and manpower. On the other hand, as 97% of cyber incidents are concentrated in SMEs, it is urgent to strengthen the information protection management and response capabilities of SMEs. Although the government is promoting company-wide information security consulting for SMEs, the need for supplementing it's procedures and consulting items is being raised. Based on the results of information security consulting supported by the government in 2020, this study attempted to derive improvement plans by interviewing SME workers, information security consultants, and system operators. Through the research results, it is expected to create a basis for SMEs to autonomously check the information security management system and contribute to the reference of related policies.
