A Practical Exploration of Comprehensive Sexuality Education by Home Economics Teachers Based on an Ecological Model of Teacher Agency (교사 행위자성(teacher agency)에 기반한 가정과교사의 포괄적 성교육 실천 탐구)

  • Based on an ecological model of teacher agency, the purpose of this study was to examine the relevance of HE (home economics) subjects and CSE (comprehensive sexuality education) for HE teachers, and their implementation in HE classes. To achieve this, a survey was conducted with HE teachers nationwide for which 243 responses were collected, and interviews were conducted with five HE teachers who were actively practicing CSE. The results of the survey and interview were as follows. First, HE teachers strongly recognized the relevance of HE subjects and the topic of CSE with an average score of 4.63 (out of 5 points), and practiced CSE at an average of 72.23% (97.12%~43.21%) in their class. Second, based on the ecological approach model of teacher agency, the factors facilitating the CSE practice of HE teachers included: childbirth and parenting experienced as parents, experiences of students encountering sexual problems in school, the philosophy and content of HE subjects, positive feedback from students and support from fellow teachers, and intention to help students in their lives. Conversely, HE teachers cited a lack of sexual education experience as learners, complaints from parents, weakness of HE teacher networks, lack of specific statements in curriculum and textbooks, insufficient class content and teacher training, and lack of absolute class time. This study is significant in revealing that CSE is highly relevant to the contents of HE subjects and is already being practiced in HE classes.

  • Autonomous vehicles operated in the rough terrain environment must satisfy various technical requirements in order to improve the speed. Therefore, in order to design and implement a technical architecture that satisfies the requirements for speed improvement of autonomous vehicles, it is necessary to consider the overall technology of hardware and software to be mounted. In this study, the technical architecture of the autonomous vehicle operating in the rough terrain environment is presented. In order to realize high speed driving in pavement driving environment and other environment, it should be designed to improve the fast and accurate recognition performance and collect high quality database. and it should be determined the correct running speed from the running ability analysis and the frictional force estimation on the running road. We also improved synchronization performance by providing precise navigation information(time) to each hardware and software.

  • Time division wireless communication in tactical MANET is attractive to deliver both high data rates and long-range coverage, and to provide scheduled QoS to mission participants. This paper is about the time synchronization issue of multi-mission USV in tactical MANET. As USV communication coverage becomes longer, the synchronization error also becomes higher; therefore, which results in link disconnection, and consequent failures of reconnection because base station cannot configure necessary parameters over long-distant terminal. We propose a range adaptive time synchronization method to compensate for synchronization errors. The issue of long-range time synchronization problem was identified during maritime communication tests, and we verified the proposed method through analyses of both indoor and outdoor test results.

  • In this paper, we present the performance and the experimental results of the adaptive beamformer in the radar system with the planar active array. The study of the adaptive beamformer has already been performed in several literatures, but it is difficult to find the results or examples those are implemented in the actual radar system. Here we employ the adaptive beamformer to the practical radar system with subarray architecture. The performance of beamformer will be demonstrated by modeling and simulation and finally the far-field experimental results.

Assessing the Importance of Information Security Factors Using AHP: Case of Defense Agency's Outsourcing Development of Information Systems (AHP를 이용한 정보보안 요소의 중요도 평가: 국방기관 정보시스템 외주개발 사례)

  • In this paper, we identify and evaluate the information security factors considered in outsourcing development of information systems for defense agency with analytic hierarchy process(AHP). To assess the information security elements, we prepared three groups including the experts of a defense agency, subcontractor managers and subcontractor practitioners who are involved in developing information systems. And the relative importance of security factors were analyzed using questionnaires and responses. As a result of analysis of 27 security factors, factors corresponding to human and physical security as a whole were evaluated as having higher importance. Although there are some differences in the ranking of some importance according to human roles, they can be positive for the implementation of complementary information security. And administrative security and technical security can be relatively insignificant considering that they can be considered as infrastructure of the overall information environment. The result of this paper will be helpful to recognize the difference of perception of information security factors among the persons in the organization where collaboration is activated and to prepare countermeasures against them.

Optimization Design of Non-Integer Decimation Filter for Compressing Satellite Synthetic Aperture Radar On-board Data (위성 탑재 영상레이다의 온보드 데이터 압축을 위한 비정수배 데시메이션 필터 최적화 설계 기법)

  • The on-board processor of satellite Synthetic Aperture Radar(SAR) digitizes the back-scattered echoes and transmits them to the ground. As satellite SAR image of various operating conditions including broadband and high resolution is required, an enormous amount of SAR data is generated. Decimation filter is used for data compression to improve the transmission efficiency of these data. Decimation filter is implemented with the FIR(Finite Impulse Response) filter and here, the decimation ratio and tap length are constrained by resource requirements of FPGA used for implementation. This paper suggests to use a non-integer ratio decimation filter in order to optimize the data transmission efficiency. Also, it proposes a filter design method that remarkably reduces the resource constraints of the FPGA in-use via applying a polyphase filter structure. The required resources for implementing the proposed filter is analysed in this paper.

  • 소프트웨어 프로세스는 소프트웨어와 이에 관련된 산출물을 개발, 유지하기 위해 사용하는 활동, 방법, 절차의 집합이라고 할 수 있다. 프로세스를 기반으로 작업하는 조직은 필요한 프로세스들을 파악하고, 각 프로세스들을 구현하기 위해, 담당자를 할당하고, 수행 활동을 정의한 후, 이를 기반으로 작업을 수행한다. 이 때 보다 효과적으로 작업하기 위해 적절한 도구들을 활용하기도 한다. 소프트웨어 개발에서 도구의 활용은 이미 그 효과가 검증되었고, 많은 상업용 제품들이 개발되어 현장에서 사용되고 있다. 이러한 도구들 중에는 독자적으로 하나의 프로세스를 지원하는 독립형(Standard Alone) 도구들과 여러 프로세스를 지원하는 통합형 도구들이 있다. 통합형 도구들은 여러 프로세스를 연결하고 통합 관리하기 때문에 효과가 크지만, 주로 가격이 비싼 상업용 제품들이고, 대규모 프로젝트에 적합한 복잡한 기능이 많아 소규모 조직이 채택하기에는 어려운 경향이 있다. 독립형 도구들은 통합형 도구보다 상대적으로 기능이 복잡하지 않고, 공개 소프트웨어로도 제공되고 있기 때문에 소규모 조직들도 사용해 왔지만 통합형 도구와 같은 효과를 내기는 쉽지 않았다. 본 논문에서는 이클립스 플랫폼 기반에 독립형으로 존재하는 플러그인들을 통합하여, 여러 프로세스를 지원하는 이클립스 플러그인 모델을 개발하고, 그 효과를 살펴보았다.

  • A timing signal board which can be used to analyze EA effect for coherent radar systems is introduced. It is capable of generating the timing signals that are needed for EA test about radar systems in real time. Its function to generate baseband target signal makes it easy to analyze EA effect. Because all parameters of timing signals can be changed by software, it is very easy to configure many kinds of test scenarios.

  • The following contribution deals with the objectives and scopes of the German Act on Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) and with the procedural implementation of this act. It begins with a presentation of the goal and content of EIA and the scope of its application. It then turns to the procedure of EIA, specially to the five distinct steps by which the EIA is to be carried out under German law. Finally some remarks are made on the rote of EIA in the decision-making process and on the further development of EIA since the entry into force of the Act on EIA.

  • 번호이동성은 이용자가 사업자, 위치, 서비스 등을 변경하더라도 기존에 사용하던 전화번호를 그대로 사용 할 수 있도록 하는 제도로써 통신 산업의 경쟁을 활성화하고 이용자의 편익을 증진시키기 위해 도입되었다. 현재는 시내전화 내 또는 이동전화 내에서와 같이 단일 역무 내에서만 번호이동성이 시행되고 있지만, 광대역통합망(BcN)과 같은 IP기반의 컨버전스 네트워크 상의 번호이동성에서는 URI 기반 라우팅, 이종 역무간 번호이동과 같은 고려사항이 발생하게 된다. 본 고에서는 BcN 상의 번호이동 시스템을 구현하기 위한 ENUM DNS 활용방안을 제시하고자 한다.
