펄스파워용 고전압 커패시터 등가직렬 임피던스 측정에 관한 연구 (Study on Measurement Technology for Equivalent Series Impedance of High-voltage Pulsed Power Capacitors)

  • Equivalent series impedance of high-voltage pulsed power capacitor is one of the important electrical characteristics both for users and for capacitor manufacturers because it may have serious effects on the performance of pulse forming circuits. In this paper, definition of equivalent series impedance and factors which generate equivalent series impedance are reviewed. Theoretical analysis for the calculation of equivalent series impedance based on differential measurement method is described and calculation program has been developed. In order to acquire data which are necessary to calculate equivalent series impedance from discharging current waveform, charging-dischargig controller has been manufactured. Measurement results of equivalent series impedance for high voltage pulsed power capacitor have been given.

임의의 임피던스를 갖는 단순현가방식 가선계의 파동현상 (Wave Propagation Characteristics along a Simple Catenary with Arbitrary Impedance Condition)

  • The characteristics of wave propagation along a catenary depend on various impedance conditions; i.e., spatial impedance of catenary, impedance of boundaries. In this study, wave propagation along a simple catenary system is studied with arbitrary impedance conditions such as impedance of pantograph, boundary, catenary etc. Seven coupled equations which determine the characteristics of wave propagation along catenary system have been derived and numerically solved. Results demonstrate the role of each impedance condition in the dynamics of catenary system, i.e. the way in which the conditions affect waves on catenary as well as contact force of pantograph. The formulation and suggested solution method can be certainly used for desinging an optimal catenary system for a given pantograph.

생체 임피던스 방법을 이용하여 복압을 측정하기 위한 최적 전극위치 선정 (Optimum Electrode Selection for Measuring Abdominal Pressure using Bio-Impedance Method)

  • In this study, we determined the optimum electrode pair for measuring the abdominal pressure using bio-impedance method and compared with conventional methods. Because impedance changes differ from a weight, a height, contractile force, volume of muscle and blood other or whatever of individuals, it was quantified using values of impedance change, correlation coefficient and SNR. Our results showed the optimum electrode pair (1, 9) which could detect impedance changes due to an increase of the intensity of the abdominal pressure. The correlation coefficient and quadratic function between the RMS values of EMG and the impedance changes were 0.87 and $y=0.0014x^2+0.0620x+0.6958$, respectively. It demonstrated that the abdominal pressure could be measured noninvasively and simply using bio-impedance method. We propose that this optimum electrode configuration would be useful for future studies involving the convenient measurement of abdominal pressure by ambulatory urodynamics monitoring study.

중국의 중의학적 심조항도(心阻抗圖)연구 동향 (A Study of the Chinese Research Trend on Using Impedance Cardiography for Chinese Medicine)

  • Object: The purpose of this study is to the review recent 20 years chinese achievements on the use of impedance cardiography for chinese medicine. Methods: From the China Journal Full Text Database we searched papers on the use of impedance cardiography for chinese medicine by the keyword "심조항도(心阻抗圖)". Results: The researches are summarized into 3 parts. (1) the researches on the relationship between the parameters of impedance cardiography and the chinese medical diagnoses; pulse diagnosis and tongue inspection. (2) the researches on the objective assessment using impedance cardiography for the effects of chinese medical therapy. (3) the researches on the objective evaluation index of Heart Deficiency Syndrome using impedance cardiography. Conclusion: The parameters of impedance cardiography has been established for its usefulness in various chinese medical researches.

  • In this paper, we designed and fabricated the variable impedance line by using the DGS(Defected Ground Structure) which is useful in mounting the external lumped elements. Also we used a varactor diode as Control device stuff at the proposed variable impedance line. We are able to change the impedance of transmission line as varied the capacitance of varactor diode by adjusting DC bias. The impedance variation of the proposed DGS line is about maximum 70 Ω. We will study about the application of DAM(Direct antenna modulation) in the future work.

양손 임피던스법에 의한 SV 측정의 정확도 향상을 위한 연구 (A Study on Improvement of the Accuracy of SV Measurement obtained by Hand to Hand Impedance.)

  • The purpose of this study is to measurement the cardiac output using hand to hand impedance method to provide convenience to user when measuring SV(stroke volume) with the use of ICG(Impedance Cardiography). We suggest the optimized modified formula, which can be applied when using impedance with the use of hand to hand Impedance. To verify this formula, a SV from transthoracic approach and hand to hand approach are compared for the 36 subjects, respectively. The acquired data was analyzed by using LabVIEW 8.6, analysis was implemented by SPSS 12.0. Fine difference was shown by individual. We showed that as a result of analyzing the ICG measurement value on thoracic and hand to hand, the correlation with SV was r=0.716, thereby having indicated the results of regression model in relatively high correlation.

  • The parameter-based cardiovascular impedance simulator that is able to overcome the limits of conventional mock circulatory systems is critical for the development and test of biomedical devices including artificial heart. The concept of impedance simulator was validated mathematically in a previous study using high-gain feedback linearization control which, however, may cause serious difficulties and limits for practical implementation. In this study, therefore, practical applicability of the impedance simulator is investigated considering the physical limits such as motor speed and torque. Simple PID controller which do not require complex model of the simulator is used considering the practical implementation. Design guidelines of the impedance simulator are also provided based on the results.

  • This paper deals with the impact analysis of the impedance change of 345/154[kV] power transformers on the KEPCO system's overall performance. Through the steady-state and dynamic analysis of power system, the maximum available impedance of power transformers were determined. Checking violation of short-circuit current ratings and transformer overload, parallel operation of power transformers, calculation of voltage variation ratio according to the impedance changes of power transformers are included in the steady-state analysis. In addition, transient and voltage stability analysis are also performed in the study. Available magnitudes to be able to change the impedance of the transformers in KEPCO system are finally determined in the paper.

  • This work presents a study on development of a practical and quantitative technique for assessment of the healthy state of a structure by piezoelectric impedance-based technique associated with longitudinal wave propagation measuring method. ${\lambda}/4$ 전송선로를 이용한 부하단 임피던스 측정방법에 관한 연구 (A study of measurement of the unknown load impedance using sectioned transmission line)

  • 본 논문에서는 물리적인 환경 변화에 의해 발생될 수 있는 갑작스런 부하단 임피던스의 변화를 정확히 측정할 수 있는 방법을 제시하였다. 부하단 임피던스 측정방법으로 ${\lambda}/4$ 전송선로(Sectioned Transmission Line) 상에서 측정된 전압을 이용하여 임의의 부하단 임피던스를 구하는 수식을 유도하였고, 계산된 수식의 결과 중 유효한 결과 만을 선택하는 부하단 임피던스 결정 알고리즘을 도출하였다. 제안된 임의의 부하단 임피던스 계산 수식과 부하단 임피던스 결정 알고리즘을 다양한 부하단이 적용된 시뮬레이션을 통해 검증하였고, 시뮬레이션 결과를 통해 임의로 설정한 부하단 임피던스를 정확하게 찾아 주는 것을 확인하였다.
