This paper proposes a method to acquire image data inside tunnel structures and a method to structure the acquired image data. By improving the conditions by which image data are acquired inside the tunnel structure, high-quality image data can be obtained from area type tunnel scanning. To improve the data acquisition conditions, a longitudinal rail of the tunnel can be installed on the tunnel ceiling, and image data of the entire tunnel structure can be acquired by moving the installed rail. This study identified 0.5 mm cracked simulation lines under a distance condition of 20 m at resolutions of 3,840 × 2,160 and 720 × 480 pixels. In addition, the proposed image-data-structuring method could acquire image data in image tile units. Here, the image data of the tunnel can be structured by substituting the application factors (resolution of the acquired image and the tunnel size) into a relationship equation. In an experiment, the image data of a tunnel with a length of 1,000 m and a width of 20 m were obtained with a minimum overlap rate of 0.02% to 8.36% depending on resolution and precision, and the size of the local coordinate system was found to be (14 × 15) to (36 × 34) pixels.
Processing techniques of remote sensed image data using computer have been recognized very necessary techniques to all social fields, such as, environmental observation, land cultivation, resource investigation, military trend grasp and agricultural product estimation, etc. Especially, accurate classification and analysis to remote sensed image da are important elements that can determine reliability of remote sensed image data processing systems, and many researches have been processed to improve these accuracy of classification and analysis. Traditionally, remote sensed image data processing systems have been processed 2 or 3 selected bands in multiple bands, in this time, their selection criterions are statistical separability or wavelength properties. But, it have be bring up the necessity of bands selection method by data distribution characteristics than traditional bands selection by wavelength properties or statistical separability. Because data sensing environments change from multispectral environments to hyperspectral environments. In this paper for efficient data classification in multispectral bands environment, a band feature extraction method using the Rough sets theory is proposed. First, we make a look up table from training data, and analyze the properties of experimental multispectral image data, then select the efficient band using indiscernibility relation of Rough set theory from analysis results. Proposed method is applied to LANDSAT TM data on 2 June 1992. From this, we show clustering trends that similar to traditional band selection results by wavelength properties, from this, we verify that can use the proposed method that centered on data properties to select the efficient bands, though data sensing environment change to hyperspectral band environments.

Agility is vital to real-time enterprises in comtemporary dynamic business environment. This study aims to investigate the relationships between traditional shipping and port logistics firms' customer agility obtained by adopting Internet business, and their corporate image and customer satisfaction. Using questionnaire data, factor analyses were used to figure out five major agility factors, corporate image factor, and customer satisfaction factor. The agility factors were then used to investigate how they improve the firms' corporate image and customer satisfaction. The results of the regression analyses show that agility factors significantly influence the firms' corporate image and customer satisfaction factors.
Reversible data hiding scheme is a form of steganography in which the secret embedding data can be retrieved from a stego image for the purpose of identification, copyright protection and making a covert channel. The reversible data hiding should satisfy that not only are the distortions due to artifacts against the cover image invisible but also it has large embedding capacity as far as possible. In this paper, we propose a robust reversible data hiding scheme by exploiting the differences between a center pixel and its neighboring pixels in each sub-block of the image to embed secret data into extra space. Moreover, our scheme enhances the embedding capacity and can recover the embedded data from the stego image without causing any perceptible distortions to the cover image. Simulation results show that our proposed scheme has lower visible distortions in the stego image and provides robustness to geometrical image manipulations, such as rotation and cropping operations.
A novel data hiding technique based on modified histogram shifting that incorporates multi-bit secret data hiding is proposed. The proposed technique divides the image pixel values into embeddable and nonembeddable pixel values. Embeddable pixel values are those that are within a specified limit interval surrounding the peak value of an image. The limit interval is calculated from the number of secret bits to be embedded into each embeddable pixel value. The embedded secret bits can be perfectly extracted from the stego image at the receiver side without any overhead bits. From the simulation, it is found that the proposed technique produces a better quality stego image compared to other data hiding techniques, for the same embedding rate. Since the proposed technique only embeds the secret bits in a limited number of pixel values, the change in the visual quality of the stego image is negligible when compared to other data hiding techniques.

The Electro-Optical Camera(EOC) image of the first Korea Multi-Purpose Satellitel(KOMPSAT-1) has both high resolution and convenient acquisition of research data, but on the other hand it has a defect of one band image. Fortunately, the multispectral Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer (MODIS) image data are receiving every day at the Korea Aerospace Research Institute (KARI). Therefore, this paper performed an effective merging for survey of reclaimed land using the high-resolution (6.6m) KOMPSAT-1 EOC image and the multispectral MODIS image data. According this paper prepared map of reclaimed lands in Western Coast of North Korea as quantitative(position and form) survey of reclaimed lands of North Korea using merged image. The use of KOPSAT-1 EOC image and MODIS images was found to be economical such using of large scale areas as reclaimed land or according easy to collect information and such north korea as inaccessible areas like as receiving every day.

This study is for analyzing best band in image matching using correlation coefficient of left and right images of stereo image pair, lot red, green, blue band images separated from color aerial photo and gray image converted from the same color aerial photo image. The image matching is applied to construct Digital Elevation Model(DEM) or terrain data. The correlation coefficients and variation by change of pixel patch size are computed from pixel patches of which sizes are $11{\times}11{\sim}101{\times}101$. Consequently, the correlation coefficient in red band image is highest. The lowest is in blue band. Therefore, to construct terrain data using image matching, the red band image is preferable. As the size of pixel patch is growing, the correlation coefficient is increasing. But increasing rate declines from $51{\times}51$ image patch size and above. It is proved that the smaller pixel patch size than $51{\times}51$ is applied to construct terrain data using image matching.
In this paper, an implementation method of the efficient image transmission stage using watermarking and channel ceding is proposed. Usually, image communication system consists of both a transmitter part and a receiver part. The transmitter part takes charge of copyright protection of the generated image data, and image coding and compression that can deal with channel noises when transmitting. In the transmitter part, we propose a channel coding method which protects both the watermark signal and the original signal for protecting the copyright of image data and solving channel noises when transmitting. Firstly, copyright protection of image data is conducted. For this, image structure analysis is performed, and both the improvement of image quality and the generation of the watermark signal are made. Then, the histogram is constructed and the watermark signals are selected from this. At this stage, by embedding of the coefficients of curve fittness into the lower 4 bits of the image data pixels, image quality degradation due to the embedding of watermark signals are prevented. Finally, turbo coding, which has the most efficient error correction capability in error correction codes, has been conducted to protect signals of watermark and preserved original image quality against noises on the transmission channel. Particularly, a new interleaving method named "semi random inter]easer" has been proposed.
In this paper, we propose a new data coding method and its circuits for minimizing data transition in text image. The proposed circuits can solve the synchronization problem between input data and output data in the modified LVDS algorithm. And the proposed algorithm is allowed to transmit two data signals through additional serial data coding method in order to minimize the data transition in text image and can reduce the operating frequency to a half. Thus, we can solve EMI(Electro-Magnetic Interface) problem and reduce the power consumption. The simulation results show that the proposed algorithm and circuits can provide an enhanced data transition minimization in text image and solve the synchronization problem between input data and output data.
