The purpose of this study is to suggest necessity of idea expression method suitable for people in our country and deduct Graphic Ideation method by grasping problems of existing idea expression method. The idea expression method (association stimulating method, conceptual shifting method, information combination method) used by many graphic designers is effective in suggesting initial keyword, but has difficulty in the course of deducting the concept. Though deduction of core keyword is important to develop as a concept, the course of separation, combination in keyword connection play an important role, and most of idea expression methods are unavailable for suggesting concrete method for the course. Also as most of idea expression methods were developed and delivered in English-speaking world, it is suitable in English-speaking world culture which has thinking focused on words, but people in our country, which have thinking focusing on narration, cannot consider difference in language thinking due to limitation in idea for each stage. This study deducted idea expression method suitable for emotion of people in our country by proving the value of this idea expression method with style of suggesting and demonstrating 4 hypotheses in order to make the course for easy connection, separation, combination of keyword deducted by existing idea expression method, as well as suggesting idea expression method design based on these hypotheses. This idea expression method used rhetoric so that it is suitable for people our country who are strong for narration expression.

The creative fashion design is the technique which ran be obtained through the structural analysis of the relationship between principle, element-combination and idea-expression. In the research, as the results of theoretical survey of design structure and idea-expression, the structural and subjective designs are classified and defined: a. the structural design is analyzed with the existing examples based on the combinational Idea-expression of the O.C.L method, and b. the subjective design is also analyzed connecting the real examples to Cordon method, Synetic method, Association method, and expansive idea-expression-method obtained by the Experiences of Geometrical Combinations. The research can be summarized as follows: 1. The creative fashion design which emphasizes the geometrical structure utilizes the modification method whirh combines the shapes and constructs extraordinary structural beauty coming from the complex structural principle, that is, emphasis and balance. 2. The creative fashion design which emphasizes specific subjects utilizes the modification method which mimics representative and plastic resemblances and constructs symbolic structural beauty coming from the simple structural principle, that is, material elements.

A new force expression on dielectrics subjected to electric field is proposed in this paper. It is the electric version of the equivalent magnetizing current method in magnetic field. From the idea of electromagnetic duality, virtual equivalent electrifying magnetic current method is conjectured in the field of dielectric force problem. Numerical results show that the proposed method has good agreements with the conventional methods. The merits and demerits of the proposed method are also discussed.

The purpose of this study is to find the complementary idea of the psychological elements in aesthetic expression of architectural space in the sense of healing. Marks $L\ddot{u}scher$, the swiss psychologist suggested reasonable categories of emotional character according to the couple combinations among Content, Self-Esteem, Confidence, and Liberty. His theory on healing is not only the concept but the practical method to understand and control the conflict between contrary elements of emotion. Compared to the Freud's objective theory of cause and consequence, his idea is focused on the subjective and autonomous harmony. This theory based on complementary idea is applied to psychological attitude of architects on Spatial Expression in this study. Refuge, Prospect, Flow and Void are assumed as equivalent spatial elements to the four major emotional conditions suggested by $M.L\ddot{u}scher$. The couple combinations among them also characterize the architectural characters definitely and it is expected to be the reasonable criteria in analysing aesthetic value and motive of creating human space.

The purpose of this study is to understand characteristic of expression in Korean style fashion design and investigated Korean style fashion design's deployment and design idea method as well as its esthetic value. The photographs for the research were selected from fashion collections during S/S 2003-F/W 2007 by four specialists in the department of textile and then analyzed with 288 final data. The results were as followings. First, the characteristics of design expression in Korean style fashion design were formation by separating partial shape from the whole, formation by shape's separation and repetition, and connecting formation by combination and transformation of parts. In the case of color, they were direct expression, contrasting formative expression, and gradual changing expression. In the case of pattern, they were the methods of filling, filling & emptying, and partial filling. Second, the deployments of Korean style fashion design were adding modern elements to traditional things, combining traditional elements and modern things, and adding traditional elements to modern things. The third, Korean style fashion design's idea methods were weaving, snatching, adding, and changing. Fourth, it was shown that esthetic values of Korean style fashion design were the interactive organism by building organic relationship, the optimum expressing beauty with minimum elements, the palpitation having dynamics and rhythmical beauty.

This study divides the expression techniques of Zaha Hadid into various types who has manipulated her targeted drawings as her unique design tools in the process of architectural design, analyzes them in terms of the vanishing point, visual point for observation and object of observation and attempts to figure out how the multi-visual expression is applied in the conception of form and space and method of observation. By doing so, this study will suggest the characteristics of the expression techniques using multi-visual. Through the above study, the utilization and characteristics of multi-visual expression of the architecture design process of Zaha Hadid are summarized as follows. Firstly, Zaha Hadid utilizes the strained multi-visual perspective technique which can look out over the interaction between masses simultaneously at multi-angles by changing a perspective drawing of vanishing point 1, 2, and 3. Secondly, it utilizes a landscape perspective technique and embodies an Idea of landscape's spatial arrangement through it as the means to search a dynamic relation of architecture, city, land, and space. Thirdly, there is a projected expression using X-ray perspective technique to make the relations between inside and outside of building to three-dimension volume. Zaha Hadid has used the expression techniques using multi-visual by utilizing various points and has developed and used them as her creative tools for idea. By means of escaping from the expression techniques of simple revival, she has used a new expression technique that can represent recognized space. In the past, the content could change the expression techniques in architecture; however, the liberation of architectural expression techniques can change the content in modern times when require new attempts.

In a situation where the demand for creative talent creating new values and ideas is increasing day by day in the 21st century, students dealing with technology in the IT field have quite insufficient communication skills of materializing ideas and logically visualizing them. Therefore, the importance of systematic means of expression and methodology that can convey ideas more effectively and sensitively in the IT field is increasing. In this study, we recognized the importance of idea visualization education in the IT field by reviewing the relevant theory and examining creative thinking system cases and sought a more systematic visual communication method by investigating the awareness on creative thinking and expression. The results obtained in this study are considered to not only provide academic value as basic research in building new education programs in the IT sector in the future but be an opportunity for further research associated with creative talent training.

Transcription factors regulate gene expression by binding to gene upstream region. Each transcription factor has the specific binding site in promoter region. So the analysis of gene upstream sequence is necessary for understanding regulatory mechanism of genes, under a plausible idea that assumption that DNA sequence motif profiles are closely related to gene expression behaviors of the corresponding genes. Here, we present an effective approach to the analysis of the relation between gene expression profiles and gene upstream sequences on the basis of kernel canonical correlation analysis (kernel CCA). Kernel CCA is a useful method for finding relationships underlying between two different data sets. In the application to a yeast cell cycle data set, it is shown that gene upstream sequence profile is closely related to gene expression patterns in terms of canonical correlation scores. By the further analysis of the contributing values or weights of sequence motifs in the construction of a pair of sequence motif profiles and expression profiles, we show that the proposed method can identify significant DNA sequence motifs involved with some specific gene expression patterns, including some well known motifs and those putative, in the process of the yeast cell cycle.

In relation to spatial expression, the remediation theory of Jay David Bolter & Richard Grusin shows a sufficient possibility of providing extended idea and experience through the space of critical representation. The remediation theory discussed in the scope of new media says about the existence method and the development process of media through immersion into media and awakening, and one attribute of remediation which aims at the extension of another realistic experience and recognition through various media, contains common denominators which display diversity and complexity of installation space, and use the audience as expression elements. Therefore, this study aims to apply the remediation theory in order to interpret space using more diverse and multisensory expression methods. For achieving this purpose, this study found the connection among characteristics of hypermediacy which is an axis of installation and remediation theory, and analyzed diverse cases regarding installation space and characteristics of hypermediacy, depending on external aspects of form and expression and internal aspects of experience and cognition. The method of hypermediation expression in installation space converts the recognition about the basic custom of new experience, space and representation. This means that the logic of remediation could approach space by leading to more extended form and recognition. In conclusion, the characteristics of space and the possibility of extended expression revealed in the relationship between installation space and hypermediacy logic would provide another developmental significance for research on space design.

This study is to suggest the facial animation methodology for that 3D character animators can use CGS system effectively during on their stage which they create ideas and use repeating a process of facial animation, it has suggested the CGS(Character Generation System) that is a creative idea generation methodology identified and complemented the problem of the existing computerized idea generation, in addition, this research being extended on the article vol.13, no.7, "CGS System based on Three-Dimensional Character Modeling II (Part2: About Digital Process)," on Korea Multimedia Society in July 2010 issue, Through the preceding study on 3D character facial expression according to character's feelings as an anatomical structure and the case study on character expressions of theatrical animation, this study is expected to have effectives as one method for maximization of facial animation and idea generation ability.
