Experimental Verification on Stability of Robust Saturation Controller (강인 포화 제어기의 안정성에 관한 실험적 검증)

  • In previous research, we proposed robust saturation controller which involves both actuator's saturation and structured real parameter uncertainties. This controller can analytically prescribed the upper and lower bounds of parameter uncertainties, and guarantee the closed-loop robust stability of the system in the presence of actuator's saturation. And the availability and the effectiveness of the proposed robust saturation controller were verified through numerical simulations. In this paper, we verify the robust stability of this controller through experimental tests. Especially, we show unstable cases of other controllers in comparison with this controller. Experimental tests are carried out in the laboratory using a two-story test structure with a hydraulic-type active mass damper.

Robust Internal-loop Compensation of Pump Velocity Controller for Precise Force Control of an Electro-hydrostatic Actuator (EHA의 정밀 힘제어를 위한 펌프 속도 제어기의 강인 내부루프 보상)

  • Force-controlled electro-hydrostatic actuators have to exhibit high backdrivability, to quickly compensate for force control errors caused by externally disturbed rod movement. To obtain high backdrivability, the servomotor for driving the hydraulic pump, should rotate exactly to such a revolution to compensate for force control errors, compressing or decompressing cylinder chambers. In this study, we proposed a modified velocity control structure, including a robust internal-loop compensator (RIC)-based velocity controller, for the servomotor to improve backdrivability of a force-controlled EHA. Performance improvement was confirmed experimentally, wherein sinusoidal velocity disturbance was applied to the force-controlled EHA, with constant reference input. Its dynamic force control errors reduced effectively, with the proposed control scheme, compared to test results with a conventional motordriver, for motor velocity control.

  • This paper was undertaken to do morphological analysis of wear particles for sliding members hydrauric rotary acuator. The lubricating wear test was performed under different experimental conditions using the wear test device and wear specimens of the pin on disk type was rubbed in paraffinic base oil by three kinds of lubricating materials, varying applied load, sliding distance. The four shape parameters (50% volumetric diameter, aspect, roundness and reflectivity) are used for morphological analysis of wear particles. The results showed that the four shape parameters of wear particles depend on a kind of the lubricating materials. It was capable of presuming wear volume for three kinds of materials on driving time.

  • At present many kinds of micro actuators and micro mechanical components have been studied, but force transmission to arbitary direction is difficult using the current method. To solve this problem, a micro hydraulic system is expected to be useful. Force transmission to arbitary direction is necessary to development of medical use micromachine. In this paper, we studied about micro hydraulic system and magnetic fluid micro actuator and micro rapid prototyping system. The result of this studies indicated that possibility of the power transmission that using the micro cylinder system.

  • This paper was utilized the STKM13C tubes for machine structural purposes model, inner radius was 100 mm and outer radios was 140 mm, axial length was semi-infinite and the isoparametric element was used. Radial, tangential and shearing stress occured the maximum stresses(-20, 52 and 26 MPa) at the inner radius and the minimum stresses at the outer radius. of the hydraulic actuator cylinders for an industrial systems. But negative signs have meaning compressive stress and stress diminution ratio was about 0.15 MPa/mm And then coincidence between the simulation and exact results(Lame' equation) is found to be fairly good, showing that the proposed analytical by BEM are reliable.

항공기용 유압 스푸울 밸브의 윤활해석

  • 유압장치의 핵심부품인 유압 제어밸브(hydraulic control valve)는 유압펌프 등에 의하여 가압된 유압유의 압력과 유량을 제어하고 유동방향을 변화시키는 주요기능을 수행한다. 특히, 대부분의 제어밸브는 스푸울(spool)과 슬리브(sleeve)를 기본구조로 채용하고 있다. 피스톤 형상인 스푸울이 슬리브내를 왕복운동하면 스푸울과 슬리브 사이의 간극(clearance)에서는 점성유체인 유압유의 윤활작용에 의하여 원주방향으로 비대칭인 유체압력이 발생한다. 이 결과로 스푸울에 측력(lateral force)이 작용하며, 조건에 따라서는 스푸울에 작용하며, 조건에 따라서는 스푸울에 작용하는 마찰력이 증대할 뿐만 아니라 스푸울과 슬리브의 내벽에 과도한 마멸(wear)을 유방시키기도 하여 제어밸브의 성능을 크게 저하시키기도 한다. 유압공학분야서는 이를 유체고착(hydraulic locking) 현상이라고 부른다. 본 논문에서는 항공기 Flap actuator의 Selector manifold에서 사용되는 스푸울 밸브의 성능에 큰 영향을 미칠 것으로 예상되는 스프울과 슬리브 사이 간극에서의 윤활특성을 이론적으로 조사하고자 한다.

  • A automatic component inserting system for industrial PCB is developed in this paper. This system has not been developed in Korea. Most domestic companies produce PCB manually. This process requires highly-skilled staff. Therefor, we developed a PCB inserting system for automation of the process and improved productivity. There are low parts in this system; press, table, tool change and control part. A hybrid press cylinder with pneumatic and hydraulic is used in the press part. The table part consists of pneumatic actuators, stepping motors and ball-screw mechanism. In the tool change part, upper tools can be exchanged automatically for the inserting of various components. The control part consists of motor drivers, PLCs and power supply.

  • A cylinder control system of the conventional construction machine has been controlled by hydraulic spool valves. This system is low-cost but system efficiency is not high. Recently, to improve this, all valves are controlled electronically and independently. Bu and Yao suggested four way electronic hydraulic control valve system. It is called IMVT(Independent Metering Valve Technology). The purpose of the study is to find proper IMV pressure control method for excavator and to validate excavator's bucket regeneration energy effect by controlling the IMV system. In this paper, we mathematically describe the bucket system of excavator first. And then, based on these results, we design the control system which is divided into two operations(none regeneration or regeneration).The results of the experiment show the desirable performance and usefulness of the designed control system.

  • To drive hydraulic valve is used Linear force motor, whose force and direction are controlled by electronic signals. Linear force motor has complicated figure and its force produced by changing of flux density which is produced by permanent magnet and electrical winding. Therefore it is needed an exact calculation of the flux density. In this paper a Linear force motor is designed and analysed by 3d program Flu calculating the flux density in air gap and in yoke, Force by different current. The analysed data will be tested by prototype Linear force motor. The data and analysing method can be used for designing Linear force motor.

  • In this paper an asymmetric hydraulic actuator which consists of single acting cylinder and servo valve is modeled for a quarter car active suspension system. This model regards the force as an internal state rather than a control input. The control input of the model is the sum of oil flows that pass through the valve's orifices. The resulting dynamic equation in the state space ap-pears a feedback connection of a nominal linear time in-variant term with a nonlinear bounded uncertain block. Since this model makes it possible to eliminate the force control phase, analysis and controller design are made straightforward and simple. Well known LQR method is then applied. Simulation and test rig experiment show the effectiveness of this approach in modeling and control.
