A NEW ITERATION SCHEME FOR A HYBRID PAIR OF NONEXPANSIVE MAPPINGS

  • In this paper, we construct an iteration scheme involving a hybrid pair of nonexpansive mappings and utilize the same to prove some convergence theorems. In process, we remove a restricted condition (called end-point condition) in Sokhuma and Kaewkhao's results [Sokhuma and Kaewkhao, Fixed Point Theory Appl. 2010, Art. ID 618767, 9 pp.].

  • This paper proposes a Truncated Type-II Hybrid ARQ scheme using an adaptive modulation system to achieve high throughput data transmission systems for mobile communication systems. In this paper, the adaptive modulation system analyzed in Nakagami (m-distribution) fading channel environment. The adaptive modulation system controls the modulation level and symbol rate according to the Nakagami fading parameter(m). When the received $E_bN_0$ is high or the Nakagami fading parameter m is high, the propose system selects higher modulation level and higher symbol rate to increase throughput. On the other hand, this system selects lower modulation level and lower symbol rate to prevent throughput performance degradation when the received $E_bN_0$ is low. The modulation method have been adopted QPSK(Quadrature Phase Shift Keying), 16 QAM(Quadrature Amplitude Modulation), 64 QAM, 256 QAM. Therefore, Adaptive Modulation Systems with Truncated Type-II Hybrid ARQ Scheme is proper for mobile and radio for mobile and radio data communication system that require high reliability and delay-limited applications.

  • This paper proposes a Truncated Type-II Hybrid ARQ scheme using an adaptive modulation system to achieve high throughput data transmission systems for DS-CDMA cellular mobile communication systems. In this paper, the adaptive modulation system analyzed in Nakagami (m-distribution) fading channel environment.   • Network-on-chip (NoC) has evolved to overcome the issues of traditional bus-based on-chip interconnect. In NoC-reuse as TAM, the test schedulers are constrained with the topological position of cores and test access points, which may negatively affect the test time. This paper presents a scalable hybrid test data transportation scheme that allows to simultaneously test multiple heterogeneous cores of NoC-based SoCs, while reusing NoC as TAM. In the proposed test scheme, single test stimuli set of multiple CUTs is embedded into each flit of the test stimuli packets and those packets are multicast to the targeted CUTs. However, the test response packets of each CUT are unicast towards the tester. To reduce network load, a flit is filled with maximum possible test response sets before unicasting towards the tester. With the aid of Verilog and analytical simulations, the proposed scheme is proved effective and the results are compared with some recent techniques.

  • This paper presents a new hybrid control method of asymmetrical/symmetrical half-bridge converter (AHBC/SHBC) with low voltage stress of the diodes. The proposed new control scheme is executed by using feedback of the input voltage and then can decide operation of the converter is divided into two ranges, which are asymmetrical control and symmetrical control, So the proposed control scheme has many advantages such as a low rated voltage of the secondary diodes, and low conduction loss according to the low voltage drop. The proposed control scheme is verified by simulated results.

  • In this paper, we propose a new fuzzy model identification method that can yield a successful fuzzy rule base for fundamental approximations. The method in this paper uses a set of input-output data and is based on a hybrid messy genetic algorithm (mGA) with a fine-tuning scheme. The mGA processes variable-length strings, while standard GAs work with a fixed-length coding scheme. For successfully identifying a complex nonlinear system, we first use the mGA, which coarsely optimizes the structure and the parameters of the fuzzy inference system, and then the gradient descent method which tine tunes the identified fuzzy model. In order to demonstrate the superiority and efficiency of the proposed scheme, we finally show its application to a nonlinear approximation.

  • This paper proposes a CSG-based representation scheme for heterogeneous objects including multi-material objects and Functionally Graded Materials (FGMs). In particular, this scheme focuses on the construction of complicated heterogeneous objects guaranteeing desired material continuities at all the interfaces. In order to create various types of heterogeneous primitives, we first describe methods for specifying material composition functions such as geometry-independent, geometry-dependent functions. Constructive Material Composition (CMC) and corresponding heterogeneous Boolean Operators (e.g. material union, difference, intersection. and partition) are then proposed to illustrate how material continuities are dealt with. Finally, we describe the model hierarchy and data structure for computer representation. Even though the proposed scheme alone is sufficient for modeling all sorts of heterogeneous objects, the proposed scheme adopts a hybrid representation between CSG and decomposition. That is because hybrid representation can avoid the unnecessary growth of binary trees.

  • This paper presents a new hybrid control method of asymmetrical half-bridge converter(AHBC) with low voltage stresses of the diodes and interleaved PFC(power factor correction). The proposed new control scheme can observe variation of secondary diodes voltage stresses by variation of duty ratio and then decide the control portions which are asymmetrical control and PFM(Pulse Frequency Modulation). Therefore, the proposed control scheme has many advantages such as a low rated voltage of the secondary diodes, low conduction loss according to the low voltage drop and wide zvs range by load variation. Through simulation results, the validity of the proposed control scheme is demonstrated.

  • 모바일 멀티미디어 서비스에서는 핸드오프의 효율적인 처리를 통한 QoS를 보장하는 것이 중요하다. 본 논문에서는 기존 핸드오프 기법의 경로 최적화, 회선의 재활용률, 핸드오프 수행시간 등의 문제점을 개선을 위해 Crossover Switch(CX)탐색 기법에 적용되는 기존의 Loose select, Prior path knowledge와 제안한 Hybrid CX 탐색 알고리즘의 성능분석을 위해 C#을 사용하여 시뮬레이터를 구현하고 회선 재이용률, 경로 최적화 정도를 비교분석하였다. 실험결과 제안한 Hybrid CX 탐색 알고리즘이 우수하다는 것을 확인하였다.

  • This paper proposes the hybrid PWM scheme that can obtain less harmonic characteristics in GTO inverters. By employing the variable of the dc-link voltage Vdc, the hybrid PWM pattern can ideally compensate the dc input fluctuation together with selected harmonics elimination. The transient behavior, which the magnetic flux and torque are altered and the large current flows instantly, may be produced when the mode change. To reduce such an undesirable transient behavior, it is also presented the technique for the gear changing of inverter operated with the hybrid PWM. The results are verified by simulations and experiments.
