Concept of Cho was used both etiologically and symptomatically at the same time. Hwa was the main cause of diseases derived from Cho, and its damage is on Jin-Eum. Cho is one of the members of Euk-Eum, which belongs to Whae-In, but it is also recognized as pathogen of internal dysfunction, therefore symptoms can be classified into two groups. Whae-cho-zheung and Nae-cho-zheung. Organs related to Cho are lung, stomach, intestine, kidney, liver and gall Bladder. Symptoms of Whae-cho usually combines Pyo-zheung, manifesting on lung and skin, whereas symptoms of Nae-cho combines Rhee-zheung, manifesting on internal organs and tissues. In treating of Cho, Ja-eum-yang-hyul-chung-yeolis the main principle. Chung-Yun-Pe-Weis used in Whae-cho-zheung and Sang-cho-byung, while Yu-Yang-Gan-Shin is used in Nae-cho-zheung and Ha-cho-byung.

One of reliability measurements of vehicle is estimated by driving mileage but the reliability of component, such as an hydraulic clutch system, is defined from the number of successful operational cycle. Relationship between these reliability measurement variables(mileage and cycle) should be examined first of all in the reliability estimation of components. Relationship between mileage and cycles is commonly known as linear function. However, the gradient depends on the operational environmental condition. Therefore, estimation of mission profile variable should be done with correlation analysis at the same time. In this paper, we derive mission profile variable of an hydraulic clutch system by field vehicle test and suggest the determination process of durability test parameters of CMC(Clutch Master Cylinder) with mission profile variable.

Objectives : This study was to analyze characteristics of MMPI profile, personality and defensive mechanism on 32 Hwa-byeng patients. Methods : 32 Hwa-byeng patients and 28 normal control group were administered the MMPI. The characteristics of MMPI profile and the clinical scales of personality and defensive mechanism were analyzed statistically. Results : 1. Half of female Hwa-byeng patients are in their forties, twelve patients are high school graduates, housewives seem to have Hwa-byeng more than workers, and married ones have Hwa-byeng more than singles, divorcees or separated one 2. 60.6% patients are getting stressed from their husbands(the specific reasons are infidelity(55%), incapability(25%) and violence(20%)). And the rest are from in-law(28.8%), children(6.4%) and their own parents(3.2%). 3. MMPI profile of Hwa-byeng patients appeared as a type of 3-1 elevated by the scale of 3(Hy) and 1 (Hs). And Hwa-byeng patients appeared significantly high in the rest of scales except L, K, Mf and Ma scales comparing to control group. 4. Hwa-byeng patients were classified into 3 groups. First group is "V" type which is high in K scale and low in 3 (Hy), 4(Pd), 6(Pa). Second group is "V" type which is high in K scale and high in 3(Hy), 4(Pd), 6(Pa). Third group is high in F scale and high in 1(Hs), Z(D), 3(Hy), 4(Pd), 6(Pa), 7(Pt), 8(Sc) and 0(Si). 5. The analysis on MMPI profiles indicates that the thirties are highier in F scale than the fifties, the fifties are highier in Hy scale than the forties, workers are highier in Pd scale than housewives, singles or divorcees are highier in Pa scale than the married. 6. The characteristics of personality in Hwa-byeng patients are as follows. They are significantly lower in HST, NAR and very higher in CPS, PAG, DEP, STY, AVD, SZD comparing to control group. Especially in AVD and SZD scales are appeared the highest.

This paper deals with the design of a brushless synchronous motor with an inverter integrated rotor instead of a brush and a slip ring. It is designed for 80kW output power and compared with an induction motor and a permanent magnet synchronous motor of the same specifications. Brushless synchronous motor, induction motor and permanent magnet synchronous motor have the same amount of magnet flux density at an air gap. As a result, the brushless synchronous motor can be reduced volume of motor and power losses comparing to the induction motor.

In this study, Pavement Management System(PMS) was developed to overcome the unscientific pavement management limitations of the past. PMS program is economic, efficient and scientific. Also, it produces the best maintenance method through exact judgement and logical analysis of pavement condition. First of all, the logical algorithm, that is such as investigation and analysis of pavement, detailed naked eye investigation and the estimation for whole system etc., was composed on the basis of the domestic and the outside data on PMS and pavement condition data of Seoul metropolitan. And then it was verified that this algorithm is suitable through the research examples of PMS data and the results of detailed naked eye investigation. Also, Geographic Information System(GIS) was integrated on PMS program. Therefore, PMS program was developed so as to use easily on the basis of the logical algorithm.

We describe Ophichthus asakusae from Korea based on a single specimen (426.0 mm TL) collected from the southern sea off Jeju Island. The species is characterized by a pointed, hard, sponge-like tail tip without a caudal fin and 126-132 total vertebrae. We propose a new Korean name, "Je-ju-ba-da-baem" for the species.

The impedance of an underwater acoustic transducers constituting a multi-channel array structure could be changed in real time by various transmission modes. A power amplifier for driving the transducers usually use a voltage control method, so the transducer and power amplifier may be damaged by over-power due to changeable load conditions. Therefore, the drive controller of the power amplifier should have the function of limiting the power. This paper propose the new voltage control method for limiting the driving power of transducers with variable impedance characteristics.

Objectives: This study was performed to examine the characteristic cardiovascular response patterns associated with the imagination and discussion of anger-provoked events in patients with hwa-byung. Methods: Forty-three female patients with hwa-byung were evaluated with the Korean version of the State-Trait Anger Expression Inventory, the State-Trait Anxiety Inventory, Hamilton Rating Scale for Anxiety, Beck Depression Inventory, and Hamilton Rating Scale for Depression just before the task. Subjective Units of Distress (SUDS) and Vividness of the event (VIVID) during the imagination and discussion of the event were evaluated immediately after tasks. Blood pressure (BP) and heart rate (HR) during baseline, rest, and tasks were also evaluated. Results: Both startle and recovery responses of BP, startle response of HR, SUDS, and VIVID in discussion task were significantly larger than in the imagination task. Conclusion: Results suggest that it is undesirable for the patients to excessively and repeatedly recall and talk about the anger events.
