The information drive of the businesses requires new alternatives in that the promotion of business efficiency through information process technologies ends up conflicting with the protection of information human rights on laborers' side. Nevertheless, apathy on information protection has a tendency to be distorted by the efficiency of the businesses. Should the capital and mass media warn economic red lights, political circles with uneasiness would ignore the significance of information protection on the behalf of business efficiency. Therefore, the importance of information protection is considered a smaller interest than that of business efficiency with the infringements of human rights on laborers' side arising. Informatization of the businesses along with the developments of information process technologies has enabled the management to monitor and control the behaviors of laborers. This new problem needs to establish both information protection mechanism and institutional devices to regulate those labor controls. The security of business activity without human rights infringement warrants both basic rights of the public and spirit of the Constitution. The study suggests the establishment and revision of laws suitable to the period of information human rights. On top of that, the establishment of the basic law for information protection of individuals' with the common principle that integrates the related laws and rules on-off line is needed. This will warrant the active participation of labor unions and create specific alternatives for information protection.

Recently a prevailing trend in marketing has been the use of consumer participations or prosumer activities and this has caused consumers to become skeptical in their treatment of information found on blogs. Therefore, these marketing practices can be usefully examined to ensure they represent a neutral source of information for consumers. This study thus investigated married women's production activities of consumer information using personal blogs, their motives and experiences, and the characteristics of the information they produced. A qualitative study was undertaken using focus group interviews with two groups of sixteen married women in their 30's and 40's. Results suggested that personal bloggers' information production activities were primarily initiated by businesses and that bloggers were paid for their activities either with money or through the products they reviewed. Although the information produced was, because of its basis in consumer experience, consumer friendly, its quality was limited in the sense because it primarily reflected the perspective of businesses. In Japan, where ISO14001 certifications have passed the 10,000 mark, the need for environmental management has taken firm root among companies. However, in the small-and medium-enterprise sector, and among tiny businesses, there are firms not obtaining ISO certification due to their concern about human resources and increased work load. On the other hand, among businesses that have already succeeded in gaining ISO certification. one does not sense any growth with regard to the continual improvement. Voices from certain quarters indicate there is a lack of incentive to keep on improving. With this background, we herewith present a new system to evaluate the level of environmental management in a company by means of a 5-step system.
The purpose of this study is to verify what kind of influence do strategic factors (clarification of outsourcing goals, clarification of outsourcing scope, co-sourcing, management of supply businesses, and human resource participation) have on marketing performance factors (improvement of service quality, customer satisfaction, and improvement of employees' ability). Another purpose is to examine whether the influence of strategic factors of outsourcing on marketing performance differ depending on the outsourcing motives and the degree of human resources outsourcing. Hypothesis of influences of strategic factors of outsourcing on marketing performance is verified. The study shoes that co-sourcing has a significant influence on improvement of service quality, participation of human resources on improvement of service quality and employees' ability, and management of supply businesses on customer satisfaction and improvement of employees' ability. However, the study indicates that clarification of outsourcing goals and outsourcing scope do not affect variables in marketing performance.

Industry-academy Collaboration alms to produce synergy-empowerment through co-opt between university and business within R&D and human resource management. The lack of indigenous R&D capabilities makes Korean small businesses not have sustainable competitive advantages. While the Korean government has increased the budgetary supports on small businesses since the late 1990s to enhance technological capabilities of small businesses, the competitiveness gap between large and small firms has been widened. The alternative for the government support is considered as active industry-academy collaboration. After exploring various policy measures for the collaboration with classifying them and pointing out their problems from a technological innovation perspective, this study shows the more expected roles of the collaboration to be a catalyst coordinating the R&D activities among the local small businesses, local universities, and public research institutes. Based upon the analyses, this study suggests several policy alternatives to facilitate the technological innovations of small businesses in the regional innovation clusters.
