The subjects of survey for this empirical analyses are limited to the customers of deluxe hotels in Korea; data are collected from the 16 deluxe hotels amongst 27 of its kind in the Seoul, Pusan, Cheju and Kyongju area. SAS package is used for Simple Regression, Multiple Regression and the results are as follows: First, the perceived service quality shows significantly positive effect upon the customers' satisfaction; Second, the customers' perceived service quality shows significantly positive with respect to the customers' response; Third, the customers' satisfaction shows significantly positive regarding the customers' response, and the customers' satisfaction have greater influence upon the customers' response than the customers' perceived service quality; On the basis of the above empirical analyses, I propose the management implication as follows: First, the hotel management staffs should have a close relation with their customers through the customers' positive, and eventually be concemed about improving service quality and customers' satisfaction to maximize the enterprise's performance; Second, the hotel management staffs, to induce and build up the positive customers' response, should have interest in serving high-quality products and service and enforcing the proper price policy.

For this, 350 chefs of 11 five-star hotels were surveyed with a questionnaire about the process and consciousness in managing food materials. 293 copies of the questionnaire were used in the empirical study by excluding unanswered and insincere ones. Before verifying the hypothesis, the reliability and propriety of the concepts suggested by the study model were analyzed through structural equation model using AMOS 5.0 to analyze concepts and verify the hypothesis. As the result of, the job satisfaction of five-star hotel restaurant chefs appeared to have positive influence on the chefs' purchase attitude, food material satisfaction, food material management performance. Also, the supplier satisfaction increased when the cooking and purchase departments communicate well with each other. • Social networking services (SNSs) have become important and popular tools for not only presenting self-image but also sharing travel information. This study adopted self-image expressions to understand tourists' intentions to share travel information and behavioral changes in SNSs. To enhance understanding tourists' intention and behavior, the current study suggests a research model based on motivations for self-image expression (i.e., creativity, altruism and social relationship). This current study empirically resulted in the importance of users' creativity, altruism and social relationship in SNS, which leads to the intention and behavioral changes to share travel information. In addition, altruism moderated the negative effect of creativity on self-image expression as well as the positive effect of the social relationship on self-image expression. Based on the result of this study, the current study bears some implications in a theoretical and practical context.

  • Meeting, Incentive travel, Convention, Exhibition (MICE) industries recently introduced new information systems, such as the exhibition guide system (EGS), to keep pace with Smart MICE and maximize the effect of exhibition performance. We investigate how persuasive EGS can affect the EGS acceptance of attendees via cognitive and affective response. We analyzed data from 442 EGS users at an exhibition. We found that information accuracy, information relevance, and source credibility were predictors of cognitive response. Source credibility had a significant effect on affective response. Furthermore, cognitive response was found to be a positive predictor of affective response and EGS acceptance. We also found affective response is a predictor of EGS acceptance. The theoretical and practical implications of the study were presented based on the results.

  • Resort Hotel Rate System was first introduced as an official guideline after Tourism Promotion Act, which enables the secretary of transportation to rate resort hotel by its facility and accommodation, was enacted on January 18, 1971. And the system was modified time to time to what we currently have after numerous revisions. However, the system has made a slow progress compare to the other countries system and have shown many potential problems that need to be improved. There is a problem that it is not even clear whether the act is as effective to apply it to rate any resort hotel in reality. The hotel rate system was first introduced in 1970's and changed ever since, and it also changed the private organizations to audit the decision. However, unlike the hotels in other countries, our hotel rating system is not focus on the customer's service and informations. It focus on the hotel's quality so that cause the problem whether the hotel is for customer or not In other different countries, they have some specific standard for evaluation of customer service based on customers' reference or needs. However, there is no evaluation part concerning on customer service in Korea. Also, even the hotel rating system is not based on the hotel waitress or waiter's service part. It means the system is almost focus on the hotel's qualities. Therefore, customer who needs hotel service, can not trust whether they can choose the hotels which gives the right informations and good quality services. Although hotel's physical layout is important, the service part is also important for evaluating the hotel entirely. There are a lot of things to develop and to be changed in order to develop tourism industry in the process of decision about Hotel's level in Korea Thus, this research will summarize some problems which are revised through the former research of hotel's level. And it will compare the system of hotel's level between Korea and developed countries in hotel industry Additionally, I will show current tourism industry in Korea. Finally, I suggest the improvement proposal for the level system of hotel in Korea and process of this system in the future.
