폴리아미드계 수지를 이용한 핫멜트 접착제의 기능 향상 - (III) 왁스와 충전제의 영향 - (Functional Improvement of Hot Melt Adhesive Using Polyamide Type Resin - (III) The Effect of Wax and Filler -)

  • 본 연구에서는 폴리아미드계 수지를 이용하여 최적의 핫멜트 접착제 배합설계를 접착제 합성, 물성평가 및 철에 대한 접착력 평가를 통해 구축하고자 하였다. 최적 배합설계를 위해 앞선 연구결과에 따라 CM831과 843P의 기본 수지에 점착부여수지로 테르펜수지의 무게비를 각각 75/25/10으로 고정한 후 왁스, 충전제 등이 사용되었으며 이들의 종류와 첨가량이 접착제의 흐름 특성과 접착력에 미치는 영향을 조사하였다. 결과에 따르면 왁스의 경우 폴리에틸렌 왁스의 첨가량이 증가함에 따라 용융점도는 다소 감소하였지만 철과의 최적 접착력은 5 wt%에서 나타났다. 이는 접착제 자체의 기계적 물성과 밀접한 관계가 있음을 알 수 있었다. 충전제의 경우는 탈크가 10 wt% 첨가되었을 때 다소 높은 용융점도에 비해 우수한 접착성능을 나타내었다.

  • The contamination(stain phenomenon) of natural marble(sipeol, bianko) of art wall of on-site interior finishing system and wall of elevator hall has occurred. The bottom of the art wall of stone junction tile has defects as cracks. To solve these problems, our research team developed eco-friendly complex stone panel(stone 4T + cement board 6T) and high-frequency hot-melt construction method that can construct in winter.

Spinning of Petroleum based Isotropic Pitch by Melt-blown Method

  • Petroleum based isotropic pitch was spun into short fiber by melt-blown spinning technology. The processing parameters chosen were air velocity, die temperature, and throughput rate of the pitch within the ranges of experimental tolerances. The fiber diameter was reduced to $6{\mu}m$ by increases of hot air velocity, and spin die temperature. Also, the fiber diameter was strongly dependent on the throughput rate of the pitch and jet speed of hot air through the spinnerets. Even fibers with $10{\mu}m$ diameter were produced at throughput rate of $0.17g/min{\cdot}hole$ and at die temperature of $290^{\circ}C$.

  • This work was intended to modify the solidification structure of high speed steel roll material for hot strip mill, by the introduction of alloying elements designed to form primary carbide dispersions via melt treatment procedure. Solidification structure was modified by the melt treatment with titanium and distribution. This modifying effect could be attributed to the fact that the nuclie formed at high temperature upon inoculation induce the formation of fine equiaxed grain and primary carbide during solification, which is also likely to be responsible for the fact that TiC acts as effective nuclie for primary VC solidification.

  • The mechnial properties such as fracture strength, ductility and fatigue strength of Cu shape memory alloy are lower than those of Ti-Ni SMA, because of their high elastic anisotropy and large grain size. And in order to improve the mechanical property of Cu SMA, some techniques such as casting method by addition of refining element, powder metallurgy and rapid solidification process have been studied on the refinement of the grain size of Cu SMA. This study was carried out to refine the grain size of CuAlNi SMA by applying the melt spinning method. According to this study, the conclusions are as follows; - grain size of the melt-spun ribbon was about $1\mum$ - there was not change in grain size, although increasing of hot pressing temperature -grain size of the hot-extruded specimen was about $30-40\mum$, it is more refiner than that of castings

Preparation of Functional Food in Combination of Tartary Buckwheat and Bean Flour Mixes by Hot Melt Extrusion Process

  • The aim of this study was to prepare a new functional food with enriched bioactive compound by the combination of Tartary buckwheat and bean flour mixes. Two types of bean such as: black bean and white bean with the ratio of 5, 10, 15 % were used to develope a food formulation. The solid formulation of functional food was prepared by the hot melt extrusion process (HME) at the temperature of 60, 90, $120^{\circ}C$. Total phenolic content (TPC), total flavonoid (TF) and DPPH were analysed of the prepared food by the use of spectrophotometer. Results demonstrated that TPC (254 mg/g), TF (18.22 mg/g) and DPPH (88%) were significanlty increased in the receipe of 10% black bean and 90% Tartary buckwheat mixes among the formulation at $90^{\circ}C$. As therefore, it is concluded that the optimum ratio of bean and Tartary buckwheat flour mixes should be considerd for the preparation of high quality functional food.

  • Nowadays, cast ingots has been used as preforms for forging to reduce the cost and the number of processes. In this study, the forging ability of Al cast alloys was investigated by using hot compression tests. Hot compression behavior of the cast Al alloys has been studied The flow stress increased by decreasing the compression temperature and by increasing the strain rate. In case of melt treatment the flow stress decreased comparing to untreated A356.0 Al alloy. Also, We developed the various forged lower control arm using the cast preform. The optimum design of product and cast preform was investigated After Prototyping of Al forged lower arm, durability and buckling test were performed.

중합체 매개 용융압출에 의한 참당귀 나노복합체의 제조 (Fabrication of Nano-composites from the Radix of Angelica gigas Nakai by Hot Melt Extrusion Mediated Polymer Matrixs)

  • Background: The objective of this study was to make colloidal dispersions of the active compounds of radix of Angelica gigas Nakai that could be charaterized as nano-composites using hot melt extrusion (HME). Food grade hydrophilic polymer matrices were used to disperse these compound in aqueous media. Methods and Results: Extrudate solid formulations (ESFs) mediated by various HPMCs (hydroxypropyl methylcelluloses) and Na-Alg polymers made from ultrafine powder of the radix of Angelica gigas Nakai were developed through a physical crosslink method (HME) using an ionization agent (treatment with acetic acid) and different food grade polymers [HPMCs, such as HP55, CN40H, AN6 and sodium alignate (Na-Alg)]. X-ray powder diffraction (XRD) analysis confirmed the amorphization of crystal compounds in the HP55-mediated extrudate solid formulation (HP55-ESF). Differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) analysis indicated a lower enthalpy (${\Delta}H=10.62J/g$) of glass transition temperature (Tg) in the HP55-ESF than in the other formulations. Infrared fourier transform spectroscopy (FT-IR) revealed that new functional groups were produced in the HP55-ESF. The content of phenolic compounds, flavonoid (including decursin and decursinol angelate) content, and antioxidant activity increased by 5, 10, and 2 times in the HP55-ESF, respectively. The production of water soluble (61.5%) nano-sized (323 nm) particles was achieved in the HP55-ESF. Conclusions: Nano-composites were developed herein utilizing melt-extruded solid dispersion technology, including food grade polymer enhanced nano dispersion (< 500 nm) of active compounds from the radix of Angelica gigas Nakai with enhanced solubility and bioavailability. These nano-composites of the radix of Angelica gigas Nakai can be developed and marketed as products with high therapeutic performance.

핫 멜트 접착제로 사용되는 비 결정성 올레핀 수지/석유수지 블렌드의 열적 성질 및 접착성에 관한 연구 (Study on the Thermal Properties and Adhesion Strength of Amorphous Polyalphaolefins/Petroleum Resin Blonds as a Hot Melt Adhesive)

  • 핫 멜트 접착제의 점착제로 사용되고 있는 석유수지를 비 결정성 올레핀 수지에 블렌딩하였을 때 점착제가 비 결정성 올레핀 수지의 열적 특성 및 결정화거동에 미치는 영향과 이에 따른 접착특성 변화에 대하여 살펴보았다. 점착제로 사용된 석유수지는 비 결정성 올레핀 수지의 용융온도를 저하시키고 이러한 현상은 에틸렌 함량이 상대적으로 많은 비 결정성 올레핀 수지에서 두드러지며, aromatic 수지인 $C_{9}$ 석유수지보다는 aliphatic 수지인 $C_{5}$ 석유수지를 사용할 때 그 감소의 폭이 큼을 알 수 있었다. 아울러 석유수지의 블렌딩에 의하여, 특히 aromatic 수지인 $C_{9}$을 첨가하였을 경우, 비 결정성 수지의 에틸렌 함량이 적을수록 결정화도가 현저히 감소함을 확인할 수 있었다. 점착제의 조성비가 50% 정도에서 가장 우수한 접착력을 확인할 수 있었으며, 에틸렌 함량에 관계없이 $C_{5}$ 석유수지의 첨가시 접착력이 현저히 향상됨을 알 수 있었다. 에틸렌 함량이 적은 비결정성 올레핀/석유수지 핫 멜트에서는 점착제로 인하여 발현된 결정화도 감소에 의하여 접착특성이 증가됨을 알 수 있었다.
