코어공명을 이용한 허니콤패널의 흡음율 개선에 관한 연구 (A study on the improvement of sound absorption coefficient of an honeycomb panel by the core resonance)

  • Honeycomb panel has a constructive advantage because it is constructed with a honeycomb core, so it has relatively higher strength ratio to weight. Therefore honeycomb panel has been used as the light weight panels in the high-speed railway technology and high-speed ship like as cruise yachts. Also it has been used in the aircraft and aerospace industry as a structural panel because light weight structure is indispensible in that field of industry. Recently, the honeycomb panel is embossed in the viewpoints of high oil prices as the lightweight panel of the transport machine, however the sound insulation capacity of the honeycomb panel is poorer than those of uniform and another sandwich panels. In this paper a method to improving the sound absorption coefficient of a honeycomb panel Is studied by using the Helmholtz resonator. The sound absorption coefficients for some kinds of honeycomb cores are demonstrated by the normal incident absorption coefficient method.

The Effect of Shape of Core Cell on Shock Absorption Characteristics of Biomimetically Inspired Honeycomb Structures

  • The effect of the core cell shape on shock absorption characteristics of biomimetically inspired honeycomb structures has been numerically investigated. The finite element models of honeycomb test specimen composed of five core cells of identical mass have been constructed, and numerical simulations have been run on PAMCRASH. The dimensions of the sides of core cells as well as the angle between the sides have been shown to influence the shock absorption characteristics of the honeycomb structure. The specimen with regular hexagonal core cell shape is found to show the best shock absorbing capacity, and specimen with rectangle-like core cell are found to provide good shock absorbing characteristics.

  • In this paper, a study on low-velocity impact response of honeycomb sandwich panels was done for the changes of impact location and core fabrication angles. The test specimens were made of glass/epoxy laminate facesheet and aluminum honeycomb core. Square samples of 100mm and 100mm sides were subjected under low-velocity impact loading using instrumented testing machine at three energy levels. Impact parameters like maximum force, time to maximum force, deflection at maximum force and absorbed energy were evaluated and compared for the changes of impact location and core fabrication angle. The impact damage size were measured at facesheet surface by 3-Dimensional scanner. Also, sandwich specimens after impact test were cut to analyse the failure mode.

  • 본 연구는 석탄의 맥동연소과정을 비맥동연소와 빅교실험을 하여 연소특성 을 가시적으로 관찰하고 연소율 등의 연소특성을 구하며 고체연료의 맥동연소과정을 밝히고 맥동연소기 개발의 기초자료를 얻는데 목적을 두었다.

  • 본 논문은 분지수가 상수인 네트워크들을 피터슨-토러스(PT) 네트워크에 임베딩 가능함을 보인다. 상호연결망 G가 H에 임베딩 되면 G에서 설계된 병렬 알고리즘을 상호연결망 H에 적용할 수 있다. 토러스(메쉬)를 PT에 연장율 5, 밀집율 5 그리고 확장율 1에 일대일 임베딩 하였고, 허니컴브 메쉬를 PT에 연장율 5, 밀집율 2 그리고 확장율 5/3에 일대일 임베딩 하였다. 추가로 평균 연장율을 분석하였다. 널리 알려진 토러스 와 허니컴브 메쉬 네트워크를 연장율과 밀집율을 5이하에 PT에 임베딩 함으로써 웜홀 라우팅 방식과 store-and-forward 방식 모두에서 임베딩 알고리즘이 사용 가능하고, 일대일 임베딩을 함으로써 시뮬레이션시 프로세서 작업 처리량을 최소화 하였다.

  • The characteristics of heat transfer and pressure drop of several different porous materials which can be used as inserts inside solar volumetric air receivers were experimentally investigated. Generally, porous materials were inserted into solar volumetric air receivers to increase the thermal performance. In the present work, honeycomb (diameter: 100 mm, thickness: 30 mm), laminated mesh (diameter: 100 mm, thickness: 1 mm) are considered as the inserts for the experiment. The experimental apparatus consists mainly of a cylindrical ceramic duct as a receiver and an electric heater as an energy source. This system is an intake open loop, which used as air of working fluid. The temperatures inside the ceramic tube are measured by thermocouples, which are installed at each layer of the porous materials. The pressure-drop experimental apparatus is fabricated alike the above experimental equipment. An acrylic tube is used like as the ceramic tube, which has the same specifications of the ceramic tube. The pressure drop of porous materials inserted in the acrylic tube is measured between front and rear of those by transmitter. The results show that the laminated mesh surpasses the honeycomb of heat transfer and pressure drop increase as the porous material thickness and Reynolds number.

  • This study introduces the testing results of the composite carbody which is applied to tilting train. The composite carbody is made of aluminum honeycomb structure materials like a sandwich. The static load test was performed to evaluate the structural characteristic and stability of the composite carbody. Considering the vertical, compressive, twisting load and 3-point supporting type as a testing terms, the structural stability of a carbody was evaluated.

  • 본 연구에서는 실선에 적용된 알루미늄 하니콤 샌드위치 판 (AHSP)을 저자가 제안한 심재의 형상이 피라미드인 알루미늄 샌드위치 판의 구조적 특성 및 진동특성을 검토해 보았다. 알루미늄 피라미드 샌드위치 판(APSP)의 기초 자료로 쓰일 수 있게 심재의 각도변화, 높이변화 및 면재와 심재의 두께변화에 따른 구조적 특성을 검토한 결과 APSP가 강도 및 강성에서 우수함을 보였으며, 질량대비 큰 강성 때문에 고유진동수도 다소 크게 평가되었다.

알루미늄 허니컴(HC) 구조재 적용 주조형 복합화약 (Structural Support of Aluminum Honeycomb on Cast PBX)

  • As the operating condition for the penetrating missile has been more advanced, the survivability of main charge has been strongly required when the warhead impacts the target. Lots of efforts to desensitize explosives such as the development of insensitive molecular explosives or optimizing plastic-bonded explosives(PBX) systems has been made to enhance the survivability of main charge. However, these efforts face their limits as the weapon system require higher performance. Herein, we suggest a new strategy to secure the survivability of main charge. We applied structurally supportable aluminum honeycomb(HC) structure to cast PBX. The aluminum HC structure reinforces the mechanical strength of cast PBX and helps it to withstand external pressure without the reaction like detonation. In this study, impact resistance character, shock sensitivity and internal blast performance of PBXs reinforced with HC structure were investigated according to the application of aluminum HC structure. The newly suggested aluminum HC structure applied to cast PBX was proved to be a promising manufacturing method available for high-tech weapon systems.

용매의 반복 방향성 결정화를 통해 제작된 새로운 다공성재료 (Novel Porous Materials Prepared by Repeated Directional Crystallization of Solvent)

  • 본 연구에서는 디메틸실록산과 벤젠으로 구성된 단량체 용액에 방향성 결정화를 두 차례 진행하여 새로운 기공 구조를 제작하였다. 우선 첫 번째 용매의 방향성 결정화를 통해 벌집 형태의 기공 구조를 제작하였다. 상기 용액을 다시 담지한 뒤, 다시 방향성 결정화를 진행하게 되면 벌집 형태의 기공 구조 내에 또 다른 기공 구조가 혼재되어 있는 새로운 구조를 얻을 수 있었다. 반복된 방향성 결정화로 제조된 다공성 소재는, 한번의 방향성 결정화로 제조된 소재보다 압입탄성계수와 압입경도가 높았으며, 높은 농도의 용액으로 두 번째 방향성 결정화가 진행된 경우에 최대 증가치(압입탄성계수: 2140% 증가, 압입경도: 2330% 증가)를 얻을 수 있었다. 반면, 두 번째 방향성 결정화가 진행된 경우, 첫 번째 방향성 결정화만 진행된 경우보다 기공률과 접촉각은 감소하였으며, 높은 농도의 용액으로 두 번째 방향성 결정화가 진행된 경우 이들 물성의 최대 감소(기공률: 21% 감소, 접촉각: 36% 감소)를 관찰할 수 있었다.
