기혼직장여성의 탁아실태와 직무만족도 (A Study on Child Day Care and Job Satisfaction of Married Women Employed Outside Home)

  • The purpose of this study was to obtain data on the child care support and job satisfaction of married women employed outside home. The data for this study were collected from a survey of 350 married women employed outside home who were residing in North Cholla Province. Major fimding are summarized in the following. First, many married women were pressured by the burdens child rearing(54.5%) and houshold chores(39.6%). Second, the daycare arrangements for children under age seven were diverse. Just under half of the children were cared for by the employed mother'parents(25.1%), or by the mother's parents-in law(21.1%). The rest were sent to daycare center(40.6%), cared for by a hired helper(7.6%), or sent to an industrial on- site daycare center(1.0%). Third, about half of the married employed mothers(47.5%) wished for an on-site daycare service at their workplace. Fourth, the variables that affected employed mothers job satisfaction were age, job, husband's job type, the income of the mother, the reason of the mother's employment, the degree of husband's houshold labor participation, and the type of social and employer's support for chid care.

재가노인의 건강문제와 보건ㆍ복지 서비스 지원 실태에 관한 연구 (Health Problems and Support from the Health & Welfare Service in the Elderly at Home)

  • Purpose: This study was conducted to identify health problems and support received from the health and welfare service using MDS-HC(Minimun Data Set for Home Care) in the aged living at home. Method: Eighty-one elderly persons were selected from those listed in community-welfare service centers in Seoul and Kyunggi Province between December 2002 and January 2003. Result: Eleven health problems per elderly person on average were identified, and the frequent care needs were in order: preventive health measure, health promotion, visual function, depression & anxiety, communication disorders, social function, pain, environmental assessment, oral health, cognition and falls. The number of health problems by the level of ADL was ‘ADL 1(Independence)’ 9.87, ‘ADL 2(Partial independence)’ 12.78, ‘ADL 3(Dependence)’ 13.73. Utilization of formal health & welfare services among the elderly was ‘meals on wheels’ 40.7%, ‘home helper’ 38.2%, ‘visiting of social welfare worker’ 21.0%, ‘physical therapy’ 19.6%, ‘day care center’ 12.3%, ‘volunteer's service’ 9.9%, ‘home visiting care’ 3.7%, ‘occupational therapy’ 3.7%, and ‘speech therapy’ 2.5%. Conclusion: The results suggest that using the MDS-HC 2.0 is applicable to help decide criteria for both health and welfare service supplied to the elderly.

방문 요양보호사의 대인관계가 직무만족에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Interpersonal Relationships on Job Satisfaction of Home-visiting Care Helpers)

  • 본 연구는 방문 요양보호사의 대인관계가 직무만족에 미치는 영향을 알아보기 위한 것으로, 방문 요양보호사들의 대인관계는 대인서비스적 업무 특성을 고려하여 수급자, 보호자, 동료, 기관장과의 관계로 구분하였다. 대전광역시의 방문요양서비스 제공기관에 근무하는 요양보호사 336명을 연구대상으로 하였으며, 수집된 자료는 SPSS 22.0프로그램을 이용하여 신뢰도분석, 빈도분석, 상관관계분석, 위계적 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 최종 분석 결과, 인구사회학적 특성의 영향력은 유의미하지 않았으나, 업무수행관련 특성 중 업무비중 우선순위, 이직경험, 직업선택이유는 직무만족에 유의미한 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 특히 보호자와의 관계를 제외한 대인관계 요인은 영향력이 가장 큰 변수로서 직무만족에 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 영향력은 기관장과의 관계, 수급자와의 관계, 동료와의 관계 순으로 컸으며, 관계가 좋을수록 직무만족도가 높았다. 본 연구결과는 방문 요양보호사의 직무만족을 향상시키기 위해, 기관 내외적으로 원만한 대인관계를 형성 할 수 있는 환경을 조성할 필요가 있음을 보여주고 있다.

장기요양수급 대상 보호자와의 의사소통이 요양보호사의 직무만족에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Communication with a Guardian of a Recipient of a Long-term Care Program on Job Satisfaction of Care Helpers)

  • 본 연구는 재가 장기요양시설 요양보호사가 요양서비스 제공에 있어서 보호자와의 관계로 인해 어려움을 겪고 있는 상황에서 수급노인 보호자와의 의사소통이 요양보호사 직무만족에 미치는 영향을 분석하여 요양보호사의 근무여건개선에 근거자료로 삼는데 목적이 있다. 분석결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 요양보호사들은 하루 4시간 근무하는 계약직으로서 급여가 적은 경우에 직무만족도가 높고, 보호자와의 의사소통도 잘되는 것으로 나타났다. 요양보호사들의 대다수가 가족요양을 목적으로 자격을 취득하였고, 특정 기관에 귀속되기 보다는 유연하게 근무하는 것을 선호하기 때문이다. 둘째, 수급노인 보호자가 남성으로 배우자 혹은 자녀인 경우, 연령이 높은 경우, 보호자로부터 부당한 요구를 받지 않는 경우에 직무만족도가 높고, 의사소통이 잘되는 것으로 나타났다. 요양보호사의 대부분이 법규에 규정된 역할이 아닌 과도한 가사지원을 보호자와 대수급자로부터 요청을 받기 때문이다. 셋째, 수급노인 보호자와 의사소통이 잘되어 관계가 좋을수록 직무만족도가 높았다. 요양보호사 직무만족에 보호자와의 의사소통이 중요한 만큼, 수급노인 보호자를 대상으로 하는 의식교육, 요양보호사를 위한 의사소통 방법에 대한 교육프로그램 운영이 필요하다. 아울러 요양보호사와 보호자가 친밀감과 의사소통을 잘할 수 있도록 요양보호사와 보호자 사이의 관계를 규정한 업무매뉴얼도 마련하여 제공할 필요가 있다.

방문요양 행위 업무량의 상대적 가치 측정 (Measuring Workload of Home Visit Care Activities Using Relative Values)

  • Objectives : The purpose of this study was to measure the workload of home visit care activities and their relative values. This study examined also factors that affect the workload of home visit care activities. Methods : The participants of this study were 126 home-helpers of 50 home visit care agencies at the 2nd Long-term Care Insurance Demonstration Project. The workload of home visit care activities was divided into total work and four dimensions ; physical efforts, mental efforts, stress and time. Home visit care activities consisted of four categories with 24 items. We used magnitude estimation method to measure their relative values of the four dimensions. The participants answered the relative values of each activities based on the reference service. We used the activity for supporting their elderly's evacuation as the reference service. Results : Most of the respondents were over 40 years old female. They consumed most their time supporting elderly's going out. They consumed their highest physical, mental efforts, and stress for activities of coping with emergency situation. The Pearson correlation coefficients showed significant relationships between workload and each dimensions. This study showed that all four dimensions are statistically significant predictors of workload of home visit care activities. Also, we found that the home-helper's career affects the workload of home visit care activities. Conclusions : The workload of home visit care activities could be explained by physical efforts, mental efforts, stress and time.

도시주부의 시간절약서비스 지출과 관련요인 연구 (A Study on Time-Saving Services and Related Variables)

  • This study examined the expenditure on time-saving services and related variables. The time-saving services are food away from home, delivery food, dry cleaning, clothing care, helper and total service. The specific objectives of this study were: (1) to investigate the differences in the expenditure on time saving services according to social economic and demographic variables. (2) to investigate the differences in the expenditure on time-saving services according to role-overload, home goal orientation and work goal orientation. (3) to investigate the independent influence of variables related to the expenditure on time-saving services. For this objectives survey was conducted using interview. The data used in this study included 160 women living in Seoul from employed professional housewives, employed non-professional housewives and non-employed housewives. Statistical analyses were conducted using frequencies, percentiles, mean, oneway ANOVA, DUNCAN-test and multiple regression. The major findings were: (1) Wife's education, wife's age, income, tenure, level of living and employment status were significantly related to the expenditure on time-saving services by using the one-way ANOVA. (2) Income, education, level of living, number of children, and employment status explained the variance of the expenditures on time-saving services about 20%-39% by using a multiple regression method.

한글 언어 교습 시스템 (Korean language teaching system)

  • 이 시스템은 한국의 언어인 한글을 모르는 외국인뿐만 아니라 국내의 남녀노소 막론하고 불특정 다수를 위한 것이다. 앞서 말한 대상자들이 한글을 조력자 없이 혼자 배우는 것은 사실상 불가능 하다고 할 수 있다. 집안에서 혼자서도 문자를 이해하고 발음을 청취할 수 있는 시스템으로 한글의 자음과 모음이라는 특징을 활용한 AR환경에 입각한 시스템을 보여준다. 나아가 이 시스템을 이용한 단어학습 방법도 제시한다. 또한 현 수준은 데스크톱 기반 시스템이지만 PDA등의 hand-held 기반의 시스템으로의 발전을 기약할 수 있으며 적은 수의 마커를 사용하여 편리함을 도모하면서 인간과 컴퓨터 사이에 쉽게 상호작용하는 시스템을 선보인다.

서울시 아이돌보미의 직무 만족도에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Job Satisfaction of Child Care Helpers in Seoul City)

  • This study aimed to investigate the job satisfaction of child care helpers who are service providers in a child care support project. For this study, 302 child care helpers in ten districts within Seoul participated in the present study. A survey was conducted to collect data concerning their job satisfaction. Data were analyzed with descriptive statistics and regression using the SPSSWin 16.0 version. The results of this study were as follows. Generally, child care helpers had a high degree of job satisfaction. In addition, they exhibited the highest degree of satisfaction in relationships and the lowest satisfaction in wages. Furthermore, they demonstrated varying degrees of job satisfaction depending on their individual characteristics, activity characteristics, and activity recognition. The results of the present study can provide useful implications in regards to successful child care support projects.

재가 장기요양 서비스 이용과 노인 가족돌봄제공자의 돌봄 스트레스: 방문간호 서비스의 영향 (Effects of Home Care Services Use by Older Adults on Family Caregiver Distress)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to examine the association between utilization of home care services under the national long-term care insurance system and family caregiver distress. Methods: A secondary data analysis was conducted in this study using data collected in 2011 and 2012 from the Korean version of International Resident Assessment Instrument (interRAI) Home Care assessment system. The study sample included 228 clients receiving community based home care and their family caregivers in Korea. Descriptive statistics, $x^2$ test, t-test, and Heckman selection model analysis were conducted using SAS 9.3. Results: Presence of family caregiver distress was significantly associated with days of nurse visits (${\beta}$=-.89, p=<.001) and home helper visits (${\beta}$=-.53, p=.014). Level of caregiver distress was also significantly associated with days of nurse visits (${\beta}$=-.66, p=.028). Other factors which were significantly associated with caregiver distress were depression, cognitive function, inadequate pain control, social support for older adult, and caregiver relationship to the older adult. Conclusion: The results of this study show that visiting nurse service and appropriate support programs for Older Adults and family caregivers experiencing caregiver distress should be developed and provided to families based on the health care needs of older adults and their family caregivers for effective and sustainable home care.

맞벌이부부의 가족스트레스와 가족건강성 (Family Stress and Family Strengths in Double-income Couples)

  • This research focused on the family stress and family strengths in double-income couples. The subjects of this study were 171 double-income couples, in the Kyeongnam Area, Korea. The major findings from the study are as follows. 1) The degree of family stress of the husband and wife in double-income couples was 2.90 and 2.97, respectively, on a scale of 0-5.0. The significant variables were economic level, self-esteem and marital satisfaction in double-income couples' husband, and having a housework-helper, job satisfaction, self-esteem and marital satisfaction in double-income couples' wife. 2) The degree of family strengths of the husband and wife in double-income couples was 3.84 and 3.82, respectively, on a scale of 0-5.0. The significant variables were job satisfaction, self-esteem and marital satisfaction in double-income couples' husband, and the educational level, job type, self-esteem and marital satisfaction in double-income couples' wife. 3) There was a close inverse correlation between the lamely stress and family strengths in the husband and wife of double-income couples.
