레진 인공치아의 재부착 방법에 따른 전단결합강도에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Shear Bond Strength of Resin Artificial Tooth Depending on Repair Techniques)

  • The purpose of this study was to evaluate the most effective method for repairing the exfoliated resin teeth. The specimens were divided into five groups according to repair method and presence of retention holes. The groups were as follows Group1 : Control group Group2 : Sprinkle method with no retention holes Group3 : Sprinkle method with retention holes Group4 : Flask method with no retention holes Group5 : Flask method with retention holes The results were as follows. 1. According to shear bond strength, the value decreased in the order of group1, group5, group3, group2, group4 and there were significant difference between, each group except between group1 and groups5, group2 and group3, group2 and group4(p < 0.05). 2. According to observations of the exfoliation surface, group2 and 4 showed more failure in the denture base resin and repair resin interface, but in group1, 3 and 5 there were more mixed failures. From the results above, there were no significant difference between repair methods without retention holes. But when comparing groups with retention holes, the flask method showed significantly improved results compared to the sprinkle method. Especially, group5 showed similar results as the control group.

중첩 모델링을 통한 발파진동의 특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Characteristics of Blasting Vibration by Superposition Modeling)

  • 본 연구에서는 측정된 진동파형을 토대로 다른 발파공들로부터 간섭을 받지 않은 단일공의 진동파형을 분리 하였고 이를 FFT 주파수 분석을 통하여 우세 주파수를 분석하였다. 또한 진동의 지속시간과 발파공수가 PPV에 미치는 영향을 검토하기 위해 분리된 진동파형을 $2{\sim}15$공으로 발파공수를 조절하면서 $1{\sim}80ms$까지 1 ms의 간격으로 지연시차에 변화를 주며 발파진동에 중첩 모델링을 실시하였다. 그 결과 진동의 지속시간이 길어질수록 다른 발파공들로부터 간섭받지 않기 위한 지연시차 또한 길어졌고 동일 지연시차 내에서의 발파공 수에 관한 영향은 크게 나타나지 않았다.

산업용 안전모 정부 근처 통기구멍에 관한 연구 (A Study on Ventilation Holes Near the Crown of Industrial Safety Helmets)

  • An industrial safety helmet primarily intended to protect the wearer's head. It is to prevent or reduce the danger due to flying or dropping objects, falling and prevent the danger due to an electric shock given to the head. However, thermal discomfort of the head is one of the main complaints in the case of wearing safety helmet. Ventilation holes are not allowed in safety helmets on domestic regulations except for industrial safety helmets which are to protect wearer's head against flying or dropping objects. This paper is to produce the need for enlargement of allowing on ventilation holes' regulation to class B. This study reviewed foreign standards' regulations on ventilation holes of safety helmets. Some standards recommend that ventilation may be improved when fresh air is able to enter the helmet around its lower edge and to exit via holes in the helmet located in the upper one third of the helmet. And in the experiments, relationships of ventilation holes and the temperature over the head are analyzed. The experimental results show that the cooling effect of ventilation holes in the upper one third of the helmet is meaningful.

유출홀이 설치된 배열 충돌제트의 유동 및 열전달 특성 (Flow and Heat/Mass Transfer Characteristics of Arrays of Impingement Jets with Effusion Holes)

  • The present study has been conducted to investigate heat/mass transfer characteristics on a target plate fur arrays of circular impingement jets with and without effusion holes. A naphthalene sublimation method is employed to determine local heat/mass transfer coefficients on the target plate. The effusion holes are located at the center of four injection holes in the injection plate where the spent air is discharged through the effusion hole after impingement on the target plate. For the array jet impingement without effusion holes, the array jets are injected into the crossflow formed by upstream spent air because the impinged jets must flow to the open exit. For small gap distances, heat/mass transfer coefficients without effusion holes are very non-uniform due to crossflow effects and re-entrainments of spent air. However, uniform distributions and enhanced values of heat/mass transfer coefficients are obtained by installing the effusion holes. For large gap distances, the crossflow has little influence on heat/mass transfer characteristics on the target palate due to the large cross-sectional open area between the injection and target plates. Therefore, the distributions and levels of heat/mass transfer coefficients are almost the same for both cases.

Trapped Field Analysis of a High Temperature Superconducting Bulk with Artificial Holes

  • To improve trapped field characteristics of a high temperature superconducting (HTS) bulk, a technique to implement artificial holes has been studied. The artificial holes, filled up with epoxy or metal, may provide better cooling channel and enhance mechanical strength of the HTS bulk. Although many useful researches based on experiments have been reported, a numerical approach is still limited because of several reasons that include: 1) highly non-linear electromagnetic properties of HTS; and 2) difficulty in modeling of randomly scattered "small" artificial holes. In this paper, a 2-D finite element method with iteration is adopted to analyze trapped field characteristics of HTS bulk with artificial holes. The validity of the calculation is verified by comparison between measurement and calculation of a trapped field in a $40{\times}40\;mm$ square and 3.1 mm thick HTS bulk having 16 artificial holes with diameter of 0.7 mm. The effects of sizes and array patterns of artificial holes on distribution of trapped field within HTS bulk are numerically investigated using suggested method.

Tapes philippinarum 의 치매에 천공하는 동물에 관하여(예보) (Preliminary Studies on the Snails that Bore the Valves of Young Bivalve, Tapes philippinarum)

  • The present observations on the perforation bored into young bivalve Tapes philippinarum (less than 2 mm in shell length) by boring snails were conducted at Sunjae Island in 1960 and Inchon Harbor inn 1962. 1. Young bivalves of the species which were left with bored in them were found both in Inchon Harbor and Sunjae Island. 2. The location of the holes in the valves of the young bivalve varied widely, while the holes of the adult bivalve were located at relatively definite position in the valves. 3. The author realized that the holes are bored by a species of snails that have radulas, for the inner diameters of the holes were much smaller than the router diameters. 4. The size of the holes in the valves of young bivalve was much smaller than those holes bored in adult valves. The minimum size of the holes was only 7.5microns in diameter. 5. The author considered that the boring snail is Natica severa that is found abundantly in Inchon Harbor and Sunjae Island and that this snail is the only species found in the particular areas and performs the above mentioned behavior. However, the author could not confirm experimentally the snail drilling young bivalve of Tapes philippinarum .

교차구멍 에서의 디버링 (Deburring of Intersection Holes)

  • A new design for deburring tools for intersecting holes is introduced. The tool tip is mounted on a slender cantilever assembled into a circular shank. The tool tip has been design to cover ranges of exit angle and diameter ratio between intersecting holes. The design is an improvement over the previous ones by the authors. Experiments have been performed on AL6061. With the new design, mild exit burrs with exit angles greater than 45$^{\circ}$ are successfully removed. For large burrs with smaller exit angles, however, the deburring could be incomplete.

On the Geometry of Charged Rotating Black Holes

  • In this paper, we review some aspects of geometry for charged rotating black holes which are formed from the gravitational collapse of a massive spinning star with electric charge. We also introduce the computation of entropy for black holes from loop quantum gravity which is a quantum theory of gravity based on Einstein's theory of general relativity.

지하공동굴착 시 수리지질조사 자료를 이용한 저장공동 심도의 지하수체계 특성 연구 (Characterization of a groundwater system by subsurface hydrogeological investigation data)

  • 본 논문은 지하시험시설을 이용한 수리지질환경 연구의 대안으로 지하 유류 저장시설 건설과정 중 도출된 자료를 이용하여 저장공동 심도에서의 지하수체계를 해석해 보고자 하였다. 지하공동굴착과 동시에 지표 관측공 28개를 통해 지하수위가 계측되었고, 수평 수벽공 95개와 수직 수벽공 63개에 의해 압력 및 주입량이 일일주기로 측정되었다. 또한 수리적 연결성 확인을 위한 수벽 공간 수리간섭시험이 수행되었다. 저.고 경사의 투수성 단열의 수리적 연결성에 따라 주입압의 분포양상이 다르게 나타났다. 수평 수벽공의 압력분포에 의해 수리특성을 달리하는 세 개의 수리영역으로 구분 가능하였고, 공동 C-2 < C-1 < C-3 영역 순으로 지하수압이 높은 것으로 해석되었다. 지하수압이 높은 C-3 영역은 1차 적인 지구화학 자료에 의해 심부 지하수를 많이 포함하는 특성을 보이고 있고, 일부 수벽공은 천부지하수의 특성을 나타내며 다른 구역보다 높은 지하수압을 유지하고 있다. C-2 상부의 수벽공은 지하수압이 낮고 주입량도 많지 않아 상부 지하수체와의 수리적 연결성이 불량한 지하수 영역으로 해석할 수 있다. 본 연구결과는 단열암반의 불균질성 및 규모종속성에 따른 규모별 지하수부존체계를 이해하고 지하수체계에 대한 지표조사시 기초자료로 활용될 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

과대구멍과 슬롯구멍을 갖는 고력볼트 마찰이음부의 거동에 관한 실험적 연구 (Experimental Study on Behavior of High Strength Bolted Friction Joint with Oversized and Slotted Holes)

  • 철골세우기를 할 때, 불트의 가체결은 유용하게 이용될 수 있다. 그러나 만약 부재의 제작오차나 시공현장에서의 환경 등으로 인해 부재간 볼트 구멍이 일치하지 않는다면, 시공현장에는 이를 맞추기 위해 많은 노력과 수고를 피할 수 없을 것이며, 이는 시공기간이 길어지는 원인이 될 수 있다. 이러한 문제점을 해결할 수 있는 방법으로 접합부재를 과대구멍 또는 슬롯구멍을 만드는 방법이 있고, 이는 이미 유럽과 미국에서 연구되어 설계방법까지 제시하고 있다. 그러나 국내 설계방법에는 과대구멍 및 슬롯구멍에 대해 언급되고 있지 않다. 한편 국내의 설계방법 및 건설환경은 유럽과 미국과는 다소 차이가 있다. 따라서 국내 실정에 적합한 과대구멍과 슬롯구멍에 대한 설계방법이 필요하다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 실험을 통해 고력볼트 마찰접합부의 모재가 과대구멍 및 슬롯구멍에 대한 마찰계수를 결정하고 거동을 평가하였다.
