In this paper, we developed the signal generator of GNSS navigation signals and analysis the performance of DCO(Digitally Clock Oscillator) compensation algorithm for cumulative distance error thorough simulation. In general, To generate a GNSS signal calculates the Doppler and Initial Pseudorange by using the location information of the receiver and the satellite. The GNSS signal generator generates a signal by determine the carrier and code output frequency using the Doppler information which is calculated as a function of time. The output frequency of the carrier and code would be used the DCO scheme. At this time, It extract the bit and code information on a for each sample by accumulating the DCO. an error of Pseudorange is generated by the cumulative error of the DCO. If Pseudorange error occurs, so that the influence to and operation of the receiver. Therefore, in this paper, we implemented the accumulated error compensation algorithm of the DCO to remove the accumulated error components DCO thereof, Pseudorange accumulated error is removed through the experiment, it was confirmed to be a high accuracy can be operated.

In this paper, we present a histogram and moment-based vidoe scencd change detection technique using hierarchical Hidden Markov Models(HMMs). The proposed method extracts histograms from a low-frequency subband and moments of edge components from high-frequency subbands of wavelet transformed images. Then each HMM is trained by using histogram difference and directional moment difference, respectively, extracted from manually labeled video. The video segmentation process consists of two steps. A histogram-based HMM is first used to segment the input video sequence into three categories: shot, cut, gradual scene changes. In the second stage, a moment-based HMM is used to further segment the gradual changes into a fade and a dissolve. The experimental results show that the proposed technique is more effective in partitioning video frames than the previous threshold-based methods.

Shanghanlun (Treatise on Cold Damage Diseases) is the oldest document in the literature on clinical records of Traditional Asian medicine (TAM), on which TAM theories about symptoms-herbs relationships are based. In this study, we aim to quantitatively explore the relationships between symptoms and herbs in Shanghanlun. The text in Shanghanlun was converted into structured data. Using the structured data, Term Frequency - Inverse Document Frequency (TF-IDF) scores of symptoms and herbs were calculated from each chapter to derive the major symptoms and herbs in each chapter. To understand the structure of the entire document, principal component analysis (PCA) was performed for the 6-dimensional chapter space. Bipartite network analysis was conducted focusing on Jaccard scores between symptoms and herbs and eigenvector centralities of nodes. TF-IDF scores showed the characteristics of each chapter through major symptoms and herbs. Principal components drawn by PCA suggested the entire structure of Shanghanlun. The network analysis revealed a 'multi herbs - multi symptoms' relationship. Common symptoms and herbs were drawn from high eigenvector centralities of their nodes, while specific symptoms and herbs were drawn from low centralities. Symptoms expected to be treated by herbs were derived, respectively. Using measurable metrics, we conducted a computational study on patterns of Shanghanlun. Quantitative researches on TAM theories will contribute to improving the clarity of TAM theories.

In the field of electronics and semiconductor technology, innovative semiconductor material research to replace Si is actively ongoing. However, while research on alternative materials is underway, there is a significant lack of studies regarding the relationship between 2D materials used as channels in transistors, especially parasitic resistance, and RF (radio frequency) applications. This study systematically analyzes the impact on electrical performance with a focus on various transistor structures to address this gap. The research results confirm that access resistance and contact resistance act as major factors contributing to the degradation of semiconductor device performance, particularly when highly scaled down. As the demand for high-frequency RF components continues to grow, establishing guidelines for optimizing component structures and elements to achieve desired RF performance is crucial. This study aims to contribute to this goal by providing structural guidelines that can aid in the design and development of next-generation RF transistors using 2D materials as channels.

In a survey in which farmers were asked about their levels of satisfaction with agricultural machines, Japanese products scored higher than local products by 1.2, 1.3, and 1.4 times for tractors, combine harvesters, and rice transplanter, respectively. Japanese products corresponded to generally high satisfaction levels in terms of operating performance, operability, frequency of breakdowns, and durability, excluding sales price and after-sales services. Effective countermeasures through quality improvement are therefore necessary for Korean products. Furthermore, a survey of dealers showed that the components and consumables for core agricultural machines had high frequencies of breakdowns and repairs. Four major components of tractors represented 85.3% of all breakdowns and repairs, five components of combine harvesters represented 89.6%, and three components of rice transplanters represented 80.5%. Moreover, a comparison of the technological levels between local and imported machines showed that the local machines' levels were at 60-100% for tractors, 70-100% for combine harvesters, and 70-95% for rice transplanters. Small and mid-sized tractors, 4 interrow combine harvesters, and 6 interrow rice transplanters showed similar levels of technology. The results of the analysis suggest that action is urgently needed at a policy level to establish an agricultural machinery component research center for the development, production, and supply of commonly-used components, with the participation of manufacturers of agricultural machines and components, in order to enhance the competitiveness of local manufacturers and to revitalize the agricultural machine market.

A coupling capacitor voltage transformer(CCVT) is used in an extra or ultra high voltage system to obtain the standard low voltage signal for protection. To avoid the phase angle error between the primary and secondary voltages, a tuning reactor is connected between a capacitor and a voltage transformer. The inductance of the reactor is designed based on the power system frequency. If a fault occurs on the power system, the secondary voltage of the CCVT contains some errors due to a dc offset component and harmonic components resulting from the fault. The errors become severe in the case of a close-in fault. This paper proposes an algorithm for compensating the secondary voltage of a CCVT in the time-domain. From the measured secondary voltage of the CCVT, the secondary and primary currents are obtained; then the voltage across the capacitor and the inductor is calculated and then added to the measured secondary voltage to obtain the correct primary voltage. Test results indicate that the proposed algorithm can compensate the distorted secondary voltage of the CCVT irrespective of the fault distance, the fault inception angle, and the burden of the CCVT.
Seismic random responses due to the wave passage effect are extensively investigated by using the pseudo excitation method (PEM). Two examples are used. The first is very simple but also very informative, while the second is a realistic suspension bridge. Numerical results show that the seismic responses vary significantly with wave speed, especially for low velocity or large span. Such variations are not monotonic, especially for flexible structures. The contributions of the dynamic and quasi-static components depend heavily on the seismic wave velocity and the natural frequencies of structures. For the lower natural frequency cases, the dynamic component has significant effects on the dynamic responses of the structure, whereas the quasi-static component dominates for higher natural frequencies unless the wave speed is also high. It is concluded that if insufficient data on local seismic wave velocity is available, it is advisable to select several possible velocity values in the seismic analysis and to choose the most conservative of the results thus obtained as the basis for design.

This paper proposes a improved speed control system for five-phase squirrel-cage induction motor(IM) injecting 3rd. current harmonic components with field oriented control (FOC) A five-phase IM drives present unique characteristics due to the additional degrees of freedom and also drives possess many others advantage compared with the traditional three-phase motor drive system, such as reducing a amplitude of torque pulsation at low frequency and increasing the reliability. In order to maximize the torque per ampere, the proposed motor has concentrated windings. The produced back-electromotive force is almost trapezoidal, and the motor is supplied with the combined sinusoidal plus third harmonic of currents. There is necessary to controlled 3rd harmonic current in order to high response characteristics. For presenting the superior performance of the proposed the speed control system, experimental results are presented using a 32-bit fixed point TMS320F2812 DSP with 1.5[kW] induction motor.

In this paper, we propose a novel unsupervised video object extraction algorithm for individual images or image sequences with low depth of field (DOF). Low DOF is a popular photographic technique which enables the representation of the photographer's intention by giving a clear focus only on an object of interest (OOI). We first describe a fast and efficient scheme for extracting OOIs from individual low-DOF images and then extend it to deal with image sequences with low DOF in the next part. The basic algorithm unfolds into three modules. In the first module, a higher-order statistics map, which represents the spatial distribution of the high-frequency components, is obtained from an input low-DOF image. The second module locates the block-based OOI for further processing. Using the block-based OOI, the final OOI is obtained with pixel-level accuracy. We also present an algorithm to extend the extraction scheme to image sequences with low DOF. The proposed system does not require any user assistance to determine the initial OOI. This is possible due to the use of low-DOF images. The experimental results indicate that the proposed algorithm can serve as an effective tool for applications, such as 2D to 3D and photo-realistic video scene generation.

In this paper, an integrated balun using bondwire transformer is fabricated and measured. The bondwire transformer has 1ow conductor and substrate loss and kas high resonance frequency. So it is available to implement low loss broadband balun. From the measured results, 0.7 dB amplitude imbalance and about 2.5 $^{\circ}$ phase imbalance was achieved from 8.15 to 16.18 GHz. It is expected that the proposed balun can improve the performance of mixers, amplifiers and matching networks of antennas. It can also be integrated with other components due to its easier fabrication and smaller size than spiral transformer balun.
