In this study, we have investigated the effect of the substrate temperature on the structural and the electrical characteristics of IZO thin films for the OLED (organic light emitting diodes) devices. For this purpose, IZO thin films were deposited by RF magnetron sputtering under various substrate temperature. The substrate temperature has been changed from room temperature to $400^{\circ}C$. Samples which were deposited under $250^{\circ}C$ show amorphous structure. The electrical resistivity of crystalline-IZO (c-IZO) film was higher than that of amorphous-IZO (a-IZO) film. And the electrical resistivity showed minimum value near $150^{\circ}C$ of deposition temperature. The OLED device was fabricated with different IZO substrates made by configuration of IZO/$\acute{a}$-NPD/DPVB/$Alq_3$/LiF/Al to elucidate the performance of IZO substrate. OLED devices with the amorphous-IZO (a-IZO) anode film show better current density-voltage-luminance characteristics than that of OLED devices with the commercial crystalline-ITO (c-ITO) anode film. It can be explained that very flat surface roughness and high work function of a-IZO anode film lead to more efficient hole injection by reduction of interface barrier height between anode and organic layers. This suggests that a-IZO film is a promising anode materials substituting conventional c-ITO anode in OLED devices.

Due to the occasional occurrence of a localizedcorrosion such as a SCC and pitting in steam generator tubing(Alloy 600), leading to a significant economical loss, an effective repair technology is needed. For a successful electrodeposition inside a tube, many processes should be developed. Among these processes, an anode to be installed inside a tube, a degreasing condition to remove any dirt and grease, an activation condition for a surface oxide elimination, a strike layer forming condition which needs to be adhered tightly between an electroforming layer and a parent tube and a condition for an electroforming layer should be established. Through a combination of these various process condition parameters, the desired material properties can be acquired. Among these process parameters, various material properties including a mechanical property and its variation along with the height of the electrodeposit inside a tube as well as its thermal stability and SCC resistance should be assessed for an application in a plant. This work deals with the material properties of the Ni electrodeposits formed inside a tube by using the anode developed in this study such as the current efficiency, hardness, tensile property, thermal stability and SCC behavior of the electrodeposit in a 40wt% NaOH solution at $315^{\circ}C$. It was found that a variation of the material properties within the entire length of the electrodeposit was quite acceptable and the Ni electrodeposit showed an excellent SCC resistance.
A rapid and simple method is described here for the determination of scandium in monazite by neutron activation analysis. The sample is irradiated for 20 hours at the neutron flux of $10^{12}$ thermal neutrons/$cm^2$/sec in the TRIGA MARK Ⅱ reactor, after which the sample is decomposed by fusion with concentrated sulfuric acid. The scandium-46 together with scandium carrier are separated from the irradiated sample by precipitating with ammonia, and are extracted by solvent extraction of the thiocyanate complex into ether. The induced radioactivity is measured by gamma scintillation spectrometry using the Multichannel Pulse Height Analyzer connected with 2"${\times}$2" NaI(Tl). The chemical yield is determined gravimetrically by precipitating scandium with mandelic acid. In order to check the efficiency of scandium separation and the errors from interfering activities of the other elements, scandium was separated by the cation exchange resin column, and the results from both samples were compared each other, which showed that the chemical procedure used in this work was as selective as the ion-exchange method with respect to scandium separation. The scandium contents in Korean monazite were found to be about 12 p. p. m.
At present the most popular turbulence models used for engineering solutions to flow problems are the $k-{\varepsilon}$ and Reynolds stress models. The shortcoming of these models based on the isotropic eddy viscosity concept and Reynolds averaging in flow fields of the type found in the field of Wind Engineering are well documented. In view of these shortcomings this paper presents the implementation of a non-linear model and its evaluation for flow around a building. Tests were undertaken using the classical bluff body shape, a surface mounted cube, with orientations both normal and skewed at $45^{\circ}$ to the incident wind. Full-scale investigations have been undertaken at the Silsoe Research Institute with a 6 m surface mounted cube and a fetch of roughness height equal to 0.01 m. All tests were originally undertaken for a number of turbulence models including the standard, RNG and MMK $k-{\varepsilon}$ models and the differential stress model. The sensitivity of the CFD results to a number of solver parameters was tested. The accuracy of the turbulence model used was deduced by comparison to the full-scale predicted roof and wake recirculation zone lengths. Mean values of the predicted pressure coefficients were used to further validate the turbulence models. Preliminary comparisons have also been made with available published experimental and large eddy simulation data. Initial investigations suggested that a suitable turbulence model should be able to model the anisotropy of turbulent flow such as the Reynolds stress model whilst maintaining the ease of use and computational stability of the two equations models. Therefore development work concentrated on non-linear quadratic and cubic expansions of the Boussinesq eddy viscosity assumption. Comparisons of these with models based on an isotropic assumption are presented along with comparisons with measured data.

The purpose of this review is to name and describe the important factors of musculoskeletal strain originating from pushing and pulling tasks such as cart handling that are commonly found in industrial contexts. A literature database search was performed using the research platform Web of Science. For a study to be included in this review differences in measured or calculated strain had to be investigated with regard to: (1) cart weight/ load; (2) handle position and design; (3) exerted forces; (4) handling task (push and pull); or (5) task experience. Thirteen studies met the inclusion criteria and proved to be of adequate methodological quality by the standards of the Alberta Heritage Foundation for Medical Research. External load or cart weight proved to be the most influential factor of strain. The ideal handle positions ranged from hip to shoulder height and were dependent on the strain factor that was focused on as well as the handling task. Furthermore, task experience and subsequently handling technique were also key to reducing strain. Workplace settings that regularly involve pushing and pulling should be checked for potential improvements with regards to lower weight of the loaded handling device, handle design, and good practice guidelines to further reduce musculoskeletal disease prevalence.
In this study, we have investigated the structural and electrical characteristics of IZO thin films deposited on flexible substrate for the OLED (organic light emitting diodes) devices. For this purpose, PES was used for flexible substrate and IZO thin films were deposited by RF magnetron sputtering under oxygen ambient gases (Ar, $Ar+O_2$) at room temperature. In order to investigate the influences of the oxygen, the flow rate of oxygen in argon mixing gas has been changed from 0.1sccm to 0.5sccm. All the samples show amorphous structure regardless of flow rate. The electrical resistivity of IZO films increased with increasing flow rate of $O_2$ under $Ar+O_2$. All the films showed the average transmittance over 85% in the visible range. The OLED device was fabricated with different IZO electrodes made by configuration of IZO/a-NPD/DPVB/$Alq_3$/LiF/Al to elucidate the performance of IZO substrate.
We investigated how the surface roughness of electrode affects the charge injection at the pentacene/Au interface. After depositing Au film on the Si substrate by sputtering, we annealed the sample to control the Au surface roughness. Pentacene and Au top electrode were subsequently deposited to complete the sample. The nucleation density of pentacene was slightly higher on the rougher Au electrode, but surface morphologies of thick pentacene films were similar on both the as-prepared and the roughened Au electrodes. The current-voltage curves obtained from the Au/pentacene/Au structure measured as a function of temperature indicated that the interface barrier was higher for the rougher Au bottom-electrode. We propose that the higher barrier was caused by the lower work function of rougher electrode surface and the higher trap density at the interface.

The objective of this research is to analyze and evaluate the dynamic flow curve of metals under impact loading at both high strain rate (.epsilon.=1/h dh/dt > 10$\^$3/m/s/m) and large strain (.epsilon.=In h/h$\_$0/ > 1.0). A test method for dynamic compression of metal disc is described. The velocity of the striker face and the force on the anvil are measured during the impact period. From these primitive data the axial stress, strain, and strain rate of the disc are obtained. The Strain rate is determined by the striker velocity divided by the specimen height. This gives a slightly increasing strain rate over most of the deformation period. Strain rates of 100 to 10,000 per second are achieved. Attainable final strains are 150%. A discussion of several problem areas is presented. The friction on the specimen surfaces, the determination of the frictional coefficient, the influence of the specimen geometry (h$\_$0//d$\_$0/ ratio) on the friction effect, the lock-up condition for a given configuration, the friction correction factor, and the evaluation of several lubricants are given. The flow function(stress verus strain) is dependent on the material condition(e.g., prior cold work), specimen geometry, strain rate, and temperature.

Polycrystalline CdTe thin film has been studied for photovoltaic application due to the 1.45 eV band gap energy ideal for solar energy conversion and high absorption coefficient. The formation of low resistance contact to p-CdTe is difficult because of large work function(>5.5eV). Common methods for ohmic contact to p-CdTe are to form a p+ region under the contact by in-diffusion of contact material to reduce the barrier height and modify a p-CdTe surface layer using chemical treatment. In this study, the surface chemical treatment of p CdTe was carried out by H$\_$3/PO$\_$4/+HNO$\_$3/ or K$\_$2/Cr$\_$2/O$\_$7/+H$\_$2/SO$\_$4/ solution to provide a Te-rich surface. And various thin film contact materials such as Cu, Au, and Cu/Au were deposited by E-beam evaporation to form ohmic contact to p-CdTe. After the metallization, post annealing was performed by oven heat treatment at 150.deg. C or by RTA(Rapid Thermal Annealing) at 250-350.deg. C. Surface chemical treatments of p-CdTe thin film improved metal/p-CdTe interface properties and post heat treatment resulted in low contact resistivity to p-CdTe.Of the various contact metal, Cu/Au and Cu show low contact resistance after oven and RTA post-heat treatments, respectively.
