For this study, a total of 244 questionnaires among collected data for customers who experience a medical tourism service (a health checkup) at four hospitals located in Gangneung, Gangwon Province from September 1, 2014 to October 30, 2014 was to ensure a valid sample. As a result of the experiments which conducted by paired sample t-test analysis to learn corresponding to the difference between importance and satisfaction of the medical tourism services, it shows significant differences in all entries In the importance and satisfaction of the medical tourism services. As a result of the experiments which conducted by the IPA, the importance is high awareness but among service items which satisfaction is not actually high, service items that requires intensive care in the future are derived in items of "exact medical tourism services", "rapid response to the needs of the patient", "rapid medical tourism services", "communication with medical tourism coordinator". There has been 10 years since the Health Promotion Act was legislated. The government began to establish a health promotion fund on the basis of Health Promotion Act in 1995, and to manage and operate the fund from 1998. It is evaluated that health promotion program have had various outcomes in many aspects. First, there has been growing awareness of the impotance of health promotion through the establishment of Health Plan 2010 and the effort to actualize the Plan. Second, the importance of securing health equity and identifying health determinants have been recognized during the planning process of Health Plan 2010. Third, the health promotion program have mainly focused on improving healthy life style of the population. As a result, desirable health behavior change of the population could be expected from the result of 2005 National Health and Nutrition Survey. Fourth, public health centers began to play a crucial role in implementing health promotion programs, and began to build infrastructure for health promotion programs. Fifth, management efficiency of private health related organizations have been improved. Finally, training for health promotion personnel and their participation in the program could be the foundation for the higher level of outcome achievement from the health promotion programs. Important challenges for future health promotion would be identification of the determinants and risk factors of health, formulating plan of regional health promotion programs, building infrastructure for health promotion, creation of specific action model by public health center, development of health promotion program for the elderly, conducting research for evidence concerning major factors reducing the need for health care through prevention disease activities, and establishment of evaluation and feed back system for health promotion programs.

This study is designed to shed light on the current status of school health education in Korea and identify its problems. The findings of this study among other things pointed out that health education should be awarded the status on an independent subject in a bid to activate school health education and cope with its problems. Thus for efforts focused on the needs for establishing health education as an independent course as well as for enhancing the awareness of its importance. At this stage further efforts are needed to develop in-depth discussions and add greater variety to the curriculum. Firstly efforts should be made to recognize the health status of students at all levels, i.d., from kindergarten through university. Particulary at this stage when the entire society is going through changes in the types of health problems and disease pattern, the outcome of analyses on the types of health problems and health-related behavior can be used as basic data for framing the contents of school health education. Secondly more active efforts are required to single out the contents of health education and develop health education curricula assessment based on the findings of surveys on that of health education needs. Thirdly the development of school health education curriculum should be accompanied by that of more effective educational methods and materials. In particular, further efforts should be made to develop educational methods designed to make wider use of audio-visual equipments or apply behavior modification techniques so that school health education will be adapted to changed educational environment and the characteristics of health education. Fourthly and most importantly the training and production competent health education teachers is needed. This should be preceded by the amendment of relevant laws and administrative systems.
The purpose of this study is to investigate effects of management support for health and safety on workers' safety perception. Since the 1990s, Korea's national competitiveness has been rising rapidly, but efforts to prevent and cope with industrial accidents are still insufficient. Particularly there is a big movement to strengthen corporate responsibility for serious accidents in the 2020s. In this study structural equation model(SEM) was constructed and quantitatively analyzed in order to know how management's support affects the organization, system, and communication related to safety and health in the company, and ultimately how it has an effect on workers' safety perception. 4,169 questionnaires conducted by the Institute for Occupational Safety and Health were used as observation variables, and 5 hypotheses were established and were verified in SEM. As management support increases, organization & institution for a safe workplace, communication related with safety and health within the company become more active. Finally management support has a positive effect on workers' safety perception. The results of this study imply that management needs to increase awareness of the importance of safety and health before all measures such as organizations, institutions, and communication related to safety and health.

Objectives: This study aimed to identify pathogenic microorganisms in the oral cavity of Alzheimer's dementia patients and recognize the necessity and importance of oral prevention management. Methods: The participants comprised 40 dementia patients aged 60 years or older and general patients who were using nursing care facilities in Gwangju from February to July 2017. Samples were collected with Eazyperio products for oral pathogenic microbial testing. Eighteen types of bacteria could be detected by analyzing Multiplex-Quantity Real Time polymerase chain reaction at a genetic testing agency. Results: The study comprised more women than men. Most participants were in their 80s. Statistically significant differences were observed in some oral pathogenic microorganisms. Conclusions: Pathogenic microorganisms could more easily proliferate in the oral cavities of Alzheimer's dementia patients than they could among general elderly participants due to a lack of awareness of oral hygiene and prevention management. To improve this, it is considered necessary to deploy oral health care professionals.
